I'm flattered.
>>1640604
Well you can't deny that It's a perfect webm to be used in a OP thanks to It's bullshit anime scene.
>>1640647
I fucking love the music in this show!

I once saw Swan Lake in Russia. The first time I saw ballet. I was so damn sure I would hate it, but it absolutely blew my mind.

>>1640668
I should watch this show already.
Heard and seen a lot of good stuff from it but the serious tone put me off.
>>1640701
It's a good show. But it is indeed very serious.
>>1640701
honestly I think the constant speculation and hype on /a/ while it aired gave us more enjoyment than the show.
It's not bad but don't expect the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Despite taking time to make the webms I still have yet to bother watching the Madoka movies.

>>1641771
>>1641777
nah I think they blew more of the budget on the transformation sequences.
Both MCs got 2minute long sequences each with particles all over the place.
Would post em as webms but doubt they would be blue-board suitable, also a bitch to encode due to afore-said particles
could someone do the Shoebill "Jiiii" scenes from Kemono? I can't get the subs to work properly in the webm.
>>1641434
I watched the whole series with a few friends and a lot of booze.
It is shit. It's so shit that the writers had to know it was shit. So with every episode, they just upped the ante on how stupid they could be. It came out as a joke that isn't meant to be taken seriously, but gave some good laughs. Seems to me like they accomplished what they were after, and we had fun watching it.

>>1642002
Graf is one of the most talkative weapons in the movie, I think only behind Raising Heart.

Yeah the yellow one is Bardiche and is usually the favourite, though being sharp means he is usually brisque with a simple 'yes sir' most of the time.

Ok it's 1am, I'm tired but here is my attempt at compiling all the Nachtwal quotes into one webm.
Seperated each one out with a 25frame buffer black screen (~1s) which gets around the disconnect when the talking is in the middle of a scene with ongoing music.
Going to sleep now but will work on the others tomorrow.

>>1642607

>>1642666
Just saying that it's not a legit german VA. If they would go through that effort to hire one they hopefully would take input on the grammar too.
>>1642667
They have legit english-speakers doing most of the ones in english but once or twice they'll have wonky grammar in their lines too, so they're probably just sticking to the script. For example, I think Raising Heart worded things really awkwardly in the first episode of As.
>>1642558
is that a motherfucking JoJo reference?
>>1642584
have you tried webm4retards?
>>1642667
>it's not a legit German VA
Just saying that It sounded like it to me, It's not the first time that they hire legit English or German speaker and they just say their lines without fixing them on their own.
Or in other words: It's not the first time that VAs have knowingly spoken broken lines without bothering to fix them on their own so it makes more sense.
>>1642682
that's so silly. hire an expert and then not use their expertise.
>>1642683
You hire them because they can pronounce the words, not because you want them to write their own lines.
>>1642681
Yeah, but my computer security says it's malware so that won't work unless I remove the security (but that won't happen). I'll be using this instead so please enjoy my webms m80s.
>>1642736
your computer security is a piece of shit. windows defender is good enough, why do you need anything else?

do it. antivirus software is known to actually cause security vulnerabilities because they embed themselves so deep in the system: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/05/17/tavis_ormandy_zeroes_in_on_antivirus_remotecrash_bug/
>>1642737

1mil times THIS. Daily reminder that Anti-Virus is worth JACKSHIT and any smart person will tell you that all you will ever need is common fucking sense because It will prevent any issues from the get go.
Alright, first attempt at making a webm, Bitrate at 1000, audio at 400. Is that too high? I tried lower bitrate at higher resolution, but it came out looking like ass.
>>1642775
Looks okay to me but you can usually leave it as a variable bitrate, it'll look more or less the same but will hopefully be a little smaller filesize.
If you're using webmforbakas consider moving to webmforretards for sub support.
>>1642788
Yeah I'm using retards. I just haven't really used it enough to eyeball what bitrate at what resolution will give you a decent filesize yet.
man 4mb is really small.
>>1641720
>Nichijou
That looks nothing like the show I have seen
>>1642842
Have you only watched random clips of it? Cause people tend to just repost the same meme clips over and over without really capturing the variety of the show. Keep in mind it has a pretty large cast of characters plus tons of skits that feature one-off characters not part of the main cast, you probably only recognize the clips that feature the main characters.
>>1642854
I just did a google search to confirm and think you are trying to make me watch a different show. Even the art style seems different.
>>1642775
hard to say precisely the source already has artifacts and noise as part of the style so you are in the best position to judge just play them side by side paying attention to scene changes
>>1642545
what the hell.
>>1643003
watching this in slowmotion is pretty fascinating.
>>1642862
It's from episode 18 of Nichijou
>>1643003
I need to finish watching the TV adaption, such an improvement over the laughable movie quality.
Apologies for no subs, the source causes WFR to throw a fit if it attempts to add them
and another Fate-ish repost before I start the Bardiche compilation
Okay that's Bardiche done.
These are only from the A's movie only, there was another anon posting TV scenes but no plans to bunch them all together
>>1643164
Ok Graf up next, going to have two seperate webms for him to keep a semblance of quality
>>1642794
If you want it simple, use CRF and focus around 40 and just change the resolution to lower or higher depending on your filesize, that's how i do it at least.
Just don't use "high quality" when you're using CRF.
>>1642813
It's fun, isn't it? VP9 support fucking never ;__;
Also: WRONG THREAD >>1640589
>>1643164 >>1643182

>>1643184
>"Yes, Master" in the sub
>Only says "Jawohl"
I hate this kind of shit
Ok second-half of Graf.
Going to take a break before I work out how to do the others.
86 moments of a weapon talking (excluding Reinforce since she just talks normal Japanese):
>Raising Heart 31
>Nachtwal 19
>Bardiche 14
>Graf Eisen 14
>Levantein 6
>Durandal 2
>Klarer Wind 1
Raising Heart may end up with 3 or more webms, Levantein likely on one and I'll lump Durandal and Klarer Wind in one.
>>1643219
>VP9 support fucking never
I want it, but at the same time would make redoing some webms an absolute nightmare especially since the encoding doesn't make full use of all cores leading to 3-4x encode times
>>1643233
>but at the same time would make redoing some webms an absolute nightmare
Honestly, i feel like it would make most videos less EFFORT because of how easy it is to get good quality with VP9.
If you really want the most it would obviously take a while thanks to It's disgusting encoding time.
>>1643164
his voice is out of this world.
The bit parts seemed easy enough so here are litterally 5 words that 2 VAs got pulled in to do over an entire movie.
>>1643277

>>1643284
We have 2 fucking threads for a good damn reason, use it. I'll gladly be the Nazi as long as we can finally get this shit done properly thanks to it.
Someone sadly has to do it since people won't listen, sorry.
>>1643284
>implying "nazi" is an insult on 4chan
>>1643289
What's even the point of having two threads to begin with? The OP/ED thread is even slower than this one and every webm there can just be posted here. There's no fucking point in having two threads.
>>1643295
The whole reason the OP and EDs got split off was because every thread got filled with about 40 reposts of Monogatari OPs
>>1643162
EXPLOSION
Ok now Levantein.
I'm surprised how well the Bow form scene meshed together,
The last part is actually 4 seperate trims used to cut out Fate's simultaneous attacks but in motion it's hard to tell where each cut ends
>>1643295
So the Main Anime thread isn't constantly being spammed with 1000 Monogatari OP/EDs and all the other shit that gets reposted in every thread?
It's bad enough right now as it is with all the reposting from general Anime shit because people can't bother to be creative and make new shit.
We have these "unwritten rules" of sorta going on for a good reasons, these here are some of the big ones.
Raising Heart part 1
>>1643068

>>1642995

>>1643369
>(yeah this is probably going to run into 4 or maybe even 5 webms)
You could always make a small webm for the thread, and then link into a big webm with the rest that you upload onto mixtape or something.
That is if you don't want to spam the thread and have a desire for higher quality, saves you effort and time too really.
>>1643344
Think about this show what you want, but god damn if it wasn't fun to watch I'll be damned.
>>1643344
>safe and harmless activity for high school girls
>>1643395
I'm aiming to keep 360p with CRF 35-40 per webm, I feel it's a good balance of quality while allowing around 1mins o footage.
Never heard of mixtape before.
Each cut is generally part of a larger scene that could be a higher quality webm on it's own so I'll create higher res versions if requested.
I'm making these compilations at 360p but have the list of frames used if anyone wants anything extracted in 720p
>>1643408
Funny enough i tend to use CRF 40 and then change my resolution according to it, and lower the CRF once i reach 720p.
I use it myself, which you can see when you search for mixtape in the Anime and OP/ED threads.

>Modern tanks (and helicopters) April Fools event
wait....WHAAAAAAT?! I so missed out on this because i was annoyed by April 1st so i avoided most of it...GOD DAMN IT
At least i was there when they did the Mechs or old sailing ships.... ;__;
>>1643427
sucks you missed it anon, it was a lot of fun, it was too short though, only 4 days or so, and then what, after just giving us that experience, no grinding necessary just pure fun and good times with tanks and helicopters and ATGMs and smoke, they expect us to go back to the daily grind of WT, fuck that.
>>1643428
>only 4 days or so
You just made it even worse because i thought it was one day only...
>they expect us to go back to the daily grind of WT, fuck that.
Wasn't it the same for the years before that tho?
>>1643433
It was but this was different, there was no grinding for basic parts, there was no sense of playing to unlock the next module or the next tank, you had 2 vehicles per side and that was it, score enough and you can fly the helicopter, and then back to the tank, it was just pure fun without worrying about doing good enough to replace repair costs or grind out a module or tank.
Gaijin showed how fun WT can be when you strip the greedy grinding element out of the equation and just let the players have fun and enjoy the game, and after experiencing that I just couldn't go back to the same old grinding game. I'm taking a long fucking break from WT.
Maybe next April fools will introduce this event by then, or Gaijin will ad the "tier IX" by then and expand into modern warfare now that Armored Warfare is fucking ded and they can swoop up their playerbase, who knows
>>1643440
>It was but this was different, there was no grinding for basic parts
So just like the last 2 years?
I mean don't get me wrong, I FULLY understand and agree to your points, I'm just saying.
It's the reason why i hate WoT and WT so much while also loving them, the fucking grind is disgusting and i would love it to piss off so we can have fun with some great games.
>or Gaijin will ad the "tier IX" by then
Well they did add some legit modern tanks already, and WoT too i think?
So i wouldn't be surprised if the would pull around and add a whole tier of modern tanks.
Also: WARSHIPS FUCKING WHEN WAR THUNDER?
Also: We should maybe go back to Anime already.
>>1643448
I'm just done with grindy games in general, WT was the last one I could deal with, and already I feel like I spent too much time into it and got little out of it.
Especially if the most fun I had with the game in my entire time playing it was this years April Fools event
>We should maybe go back to Anime already.
agreed
>>1643451
>I'm just done with grindy games in general
Tell me about it brother...
>>1643414
My usual tactic is aim for 20-30CRF for really good quality (very short clips or shows that are exceptionally easy to code like Azumanga)
30-40CRF for 'Good' quality with 40-43 probably hitting the limit of what I would want to use
The resolution I pick depends on how large the first attempt at 360p 40CRF is. If very small I'll try to hit 480p otherwise I'll start dropping CRF until I hit 4MB and up tolerance until it hits just under 4MB.
If it's an exceptionally difficult clip to encode I'll drop down to 315p or 270p (270 is 1080/4 and 315 is halfway between 270 and 360)
CRF to 50 or even 60 is a last resort for ludicrously hard stuff like the [C] Ending
>>1643460 >>1643476
I'm generally not much different, but that i start with a 40 CRF and then go from there till I reach 720p and then lower the CRF til i reach 30 or something and then higher the audio to 6.
If there is stillpace left i just higher the CRF to 25 or something and call it a day.
If It's a OP/ED i still start with 40, but go higher, up to 50 max, and then lower the resolution to an acceptable level, it all depends.
>>1643477
Everyone has a different technique they use.
I tend to avoid 720 unless I'm doing a very short loop.
This is probably more to do with me being annoyed at opening 1080p webms when I had a sub-1080 monitor than any actual quality concerns. As such I go for 480 as top res for most things.
Screwed up on my trim ordering so reposting Raising Heart comp 4.
Strike flame will be on no.5 now
>>1641763
Source?
I know I'm probably now in spamming territory but I just want to get these finished and they can then sit on the repost pile along with the other 730 webms for future threads
>>1643498
All around understandable enough really.
Hell, at leat you got some fucking standards.
Most people just do everything with their generic as fuck 360p.bat and don't even try to use the 4mb properly and it pisses me off.
I'm not expecting everyone to go through a ton of hoops but hot damn people, TRY at least.

most active threads on /a/.

the scene is from death note relight 2

>Obsidian is no longer working on Armored Warfare
>Game is not exactly great and mostly a WoT clone as is
No thanks, I'd rather waste more time in War Thunder than AW
>>1643809
>Because /a/ loves to shit post about it must mean It's good!
>>1643809
>>1643839
If it's active on /a/ then it usually means it's entertaining which isn't the same as good.
Let us not forget what else was active on /a/ many years ago
>>1643295
OP/ED posts were making up about a third of threads before the split. And if OP/ED threads are slow that's fine too, since they're mostly reposts compared to the main anime threads which usually have fresh seasonal content.
>>1643744
I don't think /wsg/ was being archived in the early days. I actually don't know if it's even being archived now.
>>1643845
It's good entertainment

>Let us not forget what else was active on /a/ many years ago
I'm never going to /a/, but was Umamaruwahtever big on /a/ too? The hamster shit i mean.
>>1643856
Dunno I don't browse /a/ much these days. I expect it was, or at least it got enough attention to be derided.
Where else do you think all the content turning that Overwatch girl into the hamster came from?
It's only partially anime so I'll just link
>>1643861
>>1643856
Not really. There were people trying to force it to be the next big meme but it never caught on. A lot of people like me dropped it after a few episodes because of how obnoxious it was. See a few years back there was this show Chaika that was popular with the main Chaika girl being posted constantly and the second season of Chaika had just ended and it was pretty much the last Chaika anime that would be made so they wanted to fill the Chaika void with another meme girl. Umaru just came out and that was their pick. So "Chaika on the front page!" became "Umaru on the front page!" because they were so lazy and transparent they couldn't even think up an original meme for her and just blatantly ripped off Chaika's.
Don't you hate it when the music doesn't cut cleanly between scene transitions?
Always makes you feel the webm has cut out early

shitty LN harem anime?
>>1643914
Well that as well I suppose

ah such a pity the ludicrous anime jiggle physics thread went and died
anyone got a webm of eromanga sensei episode 2 where sagiri is rubbing her foot on her leg? starts around 25:53
>>1643956
>starts around 25:53
The episode is only 23 and a half minutes long
ah image limit reached, going to make a new one if no-one does it first
>>1643988
I'm whipping up some OC that I'll use to start the new thread in a bit if somebody doesn't beat me to the punch
>>1643820
>and expand into modern warfare now that Armored Warfare is fucking ded and they can swoop up their playerbase, who knows

Wait, seriously?
>>1643877
>but it never caught on
It sure as fuck did on /v/ tho for what i can tell and remember.
Funny enough i think no one that's been here for a few years doesn't knows "chaika on the front page" but I can't remember anyone ever saying that shit with Umaru in it, interesting.
>>1644017
>New thread is made
>It has an EXCELLENT OP to boot
HOLY SHIT ANON, I LOVE YOU!
>>1644141
I don't browse /v/ but it doesn't surprise me they'd latch onto a shitty meme anime like Himouto. Umaru only got any viewership on /a/ because it's a Dogakobo anime and those are very well regarded on /a/ (Yuru Yuri, Mikakunin, Love Lab, Nozaki-kun, etc) but Umaru was one of a string of subpar anime they had been releasing at the time, and once the Dogakobo fans realized it wasn't up to par they mostly dropped it, leaving only the desperate seasonal bandwagoners to pick it up to try and transfer their Chaika memery onto a new girl. To this day, Umaru is now synonymous with shitposting on /a/.
>>1644150
OC, and making the OP a bit thinner by not adding so many links to it, outside of that It's near perfect and /vg/ worthy if you're asking me.
Then again on /vg/ they spam even more shit into the OPs and they become GIGANTIC AS FUCK.
>>1644162
>To this day, Umaru is now synonymous with shitposting on /a/.
That isn't much, if at all, different from /v/ actually.
It's only used for shit-posting over there, and counter posting is pictures of hurting umaru in several ways.
>>1642862
You clearly didn't watch the show at all.

>Deculture
I don't understand. Macross reference or what?
>>1643162
there is a pretty neat youtube video but I can't find it anymore. Someone made Signums weapon in real life with all the voices and it had the cartridge loading effect. There is one for Rising Heart and Bardiche

Game is dead, Devs got fired the fuck out because publisher wanted to change some stuff against devs ideals to make money.
And because devs are retards the publisher owns the rights of the game which rarely publishers do, usually most game devs just sell a license to publishers.
>>1644378
>publisher wanted to change some stuff against devs ideals to make money.
I thought the contract between Publisher and Obsidian simply wen't out and Obsidian decided to fuck off while they still could?
>which rarely publishers do
I'm calling BIG bullshit on that one.
Good publisher like Devolver even warn devoloper of publisher that do it, so I would bet it happens more often than one might think.
>>1640838
Kaiba
>>1644378
Publishers are the gateway for devs to get games out, so unless devs are heap big then the publisher's going to hand them a contract that says "we get a cut of the money and the rights to this game because you either sign this or you don't get published at all and therefore make zero money". Shitty but that's how it goes.
Can someone post gundam webms?
>>1643946
that fucking plane
