That's it? I'm done? I can't remember the last time a safari went this smooth
>it's a "your Pokemon don't fucking matter, here's a predefined layout with zero room for error" stage
Isn't every escalation like that?
>WW has M-Aero instead of M-Hera
>PV has M-Hera instead of M-Aero
>AT has M-Medicham instead of M-Gardevoir
>RC has M-Fug instead of something like M-Diancie
And why the hell are event legendaries becoming main stages while things like Dusknoir and Machamp are special stages?
>Isn't every escalation like that?
99 is about 6,000
100 is about 36,000
Larger jump than usual, though the 90s will probably have some nasty disruptions to make up for the low score requirement.
No, as in if you don't place high enough to get any of the rewards you get a jewel as a consolation prize. You don't get a jewel no matter your score. Why are mobile shitters so stupid?
A mobile player (as evidenced by referring to the jewel) didn't know what a common phrase meant, and didn't brother to think about it or use google. The amount of apologists in this general is ridiculous compared to the rest of 4chan.
How do you even google something as specific as that? The only places where someone could find them are in shitholes like gamefaqs or reddit.
Are you saying everyone who wants to know something about this game should go to gamefaqs or reddit?
It's funny when people like you complain about mobilefags "shitting up the thread" for discussing the game, when this kind of whiny faggotry is what truly turns these threads to shit with the whole stupid argument it creates.
If your objective was that from the start, though, congratulations. You managed to derail the thread after not even 30 posts.
>M-Heracross (9), Salamence (MAX), Heatran (MAX), Lugia (7)
>mfw 40 new stages
holy fuck what
>next week is escalation stage
I hate to be that guy Anon, but I S ranked everything up to Frogadier and then could only get A ranks for half of them
even when using ShuffleMoveso you will probably have a bad time if you try to instantly and itemlessly S rank everything. Good luck, though.
Note that what I said only applies to 271-277 so far and I'm sure it'll get back to the part where it feels like the game is out to get you sometime near 285. At least, it'll have to get harder before Fug.
You know, I just realized something. M-Fug being as fast as Gengar and similar to Mewtwo (Not identical, but the effect is the same as 3 psychics if you bring M-Fug and no other dragons) sounds like he'd be really useful for Sunday Meowth.
I dunno, I'm getting more and more willing to start saving up my candy. Not like there'll be another god mega soon anyway.
It will most likely work senpai.
Nintendo/GS can not patch the savefile editing only with check-in data. They could only stop it once they bring out 1.3
So if you have an entrypoint on 10.4 it will work
On a sidenote: I could check-in today despite being on emunand 9.5 (with NVer 28). Latest should be 29, so Nintendo only blocked entrypoints with the patch and most likely the ability to downgrade (memchunkhax2)
For now I'll try to snatch everything I didn't get from Safari and then S-rank everything until Aerodactyl because gotta enjoy lack of eventspam.
This one to be more precise.
Okay, figured out Porygon since someone asked, and because I wanted to see if I could figure it out myself. In spoilers because I'm sure there's at least one person (other than me) who wants to do it all on their own.
1. Switch the lone Gible with Pidgeotto to get rid of the Gibles. 2. Move the Porygon at the bottom middle to make a match with the Porygon in ice, getting a 4 match of Pidgeotto in the process. 3. Figure the rest out for yourself!
>40 fucking new stages
>escalation next week
the "figure the rest out yourself" part specifically
this time there was a Porygon match left to do, and I'm pretty sure the matches I made were the only ones available
>it's a puzzle stage that actually requires more thought than "just match random shit and hope for lucky combos!"
Those are the fun levels.
Do you actually think it's one single person getting annoyed by mobilefags every time? Because it's not.
>How do you even google something as specific as that?
The term "consolation prize" is not something unique to shuffle, or even video games. Literally google "consolation" or "consolation prize" and google has a definition box that explains it means the reward given out to those who don't place or who come in last.
Mobilefags discussing the game isn't shitting up the thread. Stupid questions do. Responding by just mocking mobile players is shitting up the thread as well. But mocking them while also answering the question doesn't shit up the thread, the people who get triggered when they get called out on being an idiot do.
If you want the good ability though you can't bring mega boosters. Sure it's fast, but it is a tradeoff.
Pachi, chansey, the remaining two, repeat.
I'm sure there's a method that removes everything, but this gets you done with 1 or 2 moves left, and you just need to complete it to s-rank.
Currently stuck on Mega Mewtwo. How do I beat this nigger? My current lineup is level 5 Mega Gengar, level 5 Scyther, level 5 Zoroark, and level 4 Heracross. Do I need to buy items? I always get worried that the one time I buy items, I'll end up getting really shitty luck and lose anyway and end up wasting coins.
Lemme rephrase that.
If you do 1 and 2 correctly, there will be three Pidgeotto and three Pupitar left on the board, set up so that you can easily match both in one move. The rest of the screen is entirely metal blocks.
If you had something else, you did 1 or 2 wrong. I checked each Mon's ability just to be sure, and none of them activating would change the outcome of the puzzle, including Porygon's Barrier Bash+.
>Mobilefags discussing the game isn't shitting up the thread. Stupid questions do. Responding by just mocking mobile players is shitting up the thread as well. But mocking them while also answering the question doesn't shit up the thread, the people who get triggered when they get called out on being an idiot do.
but thats wrong.
If someone asks a stupid question, he fucking deserves ridicule. 100% of all the stupid questions can be answerd by just going into the 3DS Pastebin, which the fucking Mobile pastebin also encourages!
Shit like "What stage is best for farming before reaching Amphy?", "How can I beat <insert puzzle stage here>?", "When will the other Tornadus appear?" can all be answerd with little effort.
If you keep feeding retarded pigeons fucking bread, they will keep coming back for more instead of going to hunt something themself.
Dont support idiots. Tell them to "search for the info in the or GTFO" and nothing else.
Why do you people keep acting like only mobilefags ask questions easily answerable by just reading the guide? This is what I don't get it.
If it were just "no stupid questions allowed", it would be understandable and wouldn't create a shitstorm on every single thread, but the way it is it just sounds like you want to rile up the mobilefags and create shitposting.
And before someone completely ignores the point of the post, I don't play on mobile and never intended to. I'm just tired of the same old "us vs. them" shitposting that has been going for months on these threads. Even supremefags weren't this annoying.
it's just a matter of experience
most mobilefags are recently joining, so they have old(er) questions that have been answered a thousand times way more often than 3DSfags do
so when a 3DSfag asks a question, it's more likely that it's a relevant or current question, not one concerning levels from I don't know how many months ago
but there's exceptions to both cases, of course
Did you even read what you're quoting? Stupid questions are the issue not whether or not their mobilefags or 3dsfags. Just tell all stupid questions to fuck off or read the pastebin instead of calling them mobileshitters when it's quite clear both mobilefags and 3dsfags ask the same dumb questions over and over again.
Lets compare the amount of dumb question asked in the beginning. A lot. Because noone had a clue about the game. Then it simmered down. Afterwards it was just memery and "Look at what stage I just S-ranked itemless...!". Then there was a lot of stupid questions about getting supreme because idiots couldnt be able to follow a pastebin step by step and fucked up somewhere.
After some time (1 week) it went back to shitposting. Mobile gets released and oh my fucking god, the shit that came up was even more dumber than the shit asked in the beginning by 3ds owners. And the dumb questions wont stop. Now we have shitposting between 3ds fags and butthurt mobile fags AND stupid questions. Sorry to be THAT guy, but considering my past experience with this general Im sure its fucking mobile shitters who keep comming to ask this dumb shit.
I havent been involved in this conversation but if you give all players shit for asking stupid questions then why did you call the people asking questions at the start of this chain of comments "mobile shitters" if there was no way to determine what version they played based on their questions
In the last couple threads the questions that got shit on for being mobileshitters were actually 3dsfags. I dont see mobilefags make a fuss about those and call 3dsfags shitters, and I say this as a 3dsfags. Just tell stupid questions to fuck off.
Seeing as this guy >>25036167 gave the wrong answer, maybe this wasn't such an obvious question after all.
Why is everyone making a fuss over it? Can't we go back to complaining about Roseus Center?
>In the last couple threads the questions that got shit on for being mobileshitters were actually 3dsfags.
Did you seriously believe those 7 stupid questions that followed each other (all 7 of them had "I am a 3ds player, of course" or something along the lines) werent the work of a samefag? Because back then, it looked to me like the work of a samefag trying to even the playing field a bit, if you catch my drift, mate.
If you're going to start calling them samefags just because you cannot believe 3dsfags ask stupid questions then there isn't much to say. Personally I don't think they seen extremely samefaggy to me.
At any rate, this conversation is getting boring and doesn't seem like it's going anywhere so why don't we just talk about Roseus Center instead? >>25038510.
But that question is answerd by the game itself. If you rank less than the allowed minimum, then you get a jewel for participating. It doesnt say "conselation prize", because conselation = you didnt even pass the minimum = bad = negative emotions for the player = something that an f2p developer should try to avoid, but the game still states it.
Its a dumb question because it is an airheaded one.
No problem, anon.
I can't help but feel like all this new content is to distract us from the coin grind, so we run out during the Kyurem Escalation. Good thing I have close to max already.
just do a few goes itemless and wait for supercatch, itll still end up being cheaper using one or two greatbalss (plut paying for the tries) than going with items and ending up to use a greatball as well
>tell people to check the pastebin
>get yelled at for being an ass and clogging up the thread by wasting a post and being an ass for not giving the answer since I already bothered to reply
>give people the answer
>get told to stop spoonfeeding
Can't win with you people.
stop falseflagging please
>get yelled at for being an ass and clogging up the thread by wasting a post and being an ass for not giving the answer since I already bothered to reply
thats because the guy you answerd to is angry that you didnt spoonfeed him. He feels entitled.
>he doesnt know >Scizor
how to spot the mobile user.
So with Kyurem crashing the party next week, are there any mons in the 40+ new stages worth catching to use against it? Or can I just ignore them and get back to the coin grind? Aggron seems useful, but I already have a MAXed M-Ken team with Ho-Oh/Heatran/Delphox. M-Ray might be useful... if I had 20 candies to feed it.
>Cherrim 4 times in a row
>No sharpedo yet
I get it has a higher % but fuck this, safaris are the worst
I just want to grind for kyubey
it's ice and not dragon, r-right?
So we all agree that special stages have lower catch rates than what's shown, right?
There's no way I could have wasted 30+ hearts and failed to catch literally everyone other than spinda even with their catch rates being over 30% most of the time, right?
also, you are more likely to catch a mon if you spent some coins on items, even though the catchrate is low - they do that so that you dont feel like shit about wasting your coins and potentially ragequitting the game
Yes, there is a way you fucking moron. This shit pisses me off way more than 3dsfags and mobilefags arguing. It's called being unlucky and if you legitimately don't get it then please leave and finish high school before returning to this website.
I'm going to pretend this is sarcasm.
M-Garchomp, Landorus, Excadrill, Camerupt
If you feel like training Gliscor, it would replace Excadrill on stages with lots of rocks, but that's it.
You have to make it clear, or at least hint that it's a joke. Just saying something makes it seem like you actually mean it.
Not that anon, but main stages have been caught up for a while now, which is why he may have thought you wouldn't be talking about it.
for some reason I think they try to up the ante by a notch always.
Wouldnt be suprised if next time they release a 1 week safari + 1 week escelation battle where the safari has a 1% pokemon and the escalation has 400 stages, where you get a mega stone at stage 200.
Or how about a puzzle stages that takes 30 rounds to solve and you can play it only once a day. lasts a week.
>it's ice and not dragon, r-right?
Yes, it's ice. Consequently you'll probably want to use a Pyre team or something, and as consequence of that...
...no, none of the new guys are especially useful for Kyurem. In fact, other than Mamoswine, Gliscor, and maybe Aggron and Florges, none of them are particularly useful in general.
Took half an hour, but here's your Alomomola solution.
1. Move the Luvdisc in the second column in between the two Staryu. This should make a 4 combo. 2. Match the Staryu. There's only one way to do this from here. 3. Match the remaining Lapras by getting them all on the bottom row. 4. Move the highest Qwilfish one space to the right.
no offense, but thats like really unfortunate for you
Try MS Aero then with Shufflemove
Also better get used to the idea of grinding senpai
You also might want to go all items to get through it in 1 try to also get the S-Rank
>that resolution and compression
if anyone saved that, delete it and get this instead holy fug
Beating it is easy enough. Just move the Porygon2 on the second row to the top row.
That'll always trigger it's Crowd Power ability and make the puzzle reset allowing you to do it again and again until it's defeated.
It's an exercise in monotony though and won't give you an S-Rank.
It usually only took me a day to catch all safari mons as well, even Phione, but my luck with this one has been absolutely terrible. I've only caught two, since the others either refuse to be caught or don't appear at all.
>Another puzzle stage
Well, a true gentleman leaves no puzzle unsolved...
To be honest, Infernape was stupid easy. Anyone can beat him itemless (with just a turn or two left). If you want to catch him right away, go for DD and AP. Get MS if you want but honestly it's pointless, I kinda regret getting it
Bu-But this move is not allowed.
I tried it twice and nothing
You have 16 Pokemon, matching a minimum of 3 per turn, and need to not match the 16th until after turn 4. If you just match 3 per turn and nothing else, you'll be fine. Just don't get any combos or match any 4s.
>not having better tools is unfortunate
Yes, it is. Responding like >>25042420 is just being a dick when someone tries to help you since you gave no indication you wouldn't have everything. I'm glad you're stuck, asshat.
Read the pastebins (that includes the shuffle guide, which answers these specific questions)
Read the thread
Still don't know? Then ask.
>waste 13 plays trying to catch Porygon
>break and buy a superball with extra chance
Why are the newer pokemons always in the 20% range and always escapef rom that.
fuck I hate this pseudorandom bullshit.
once Im done with everything and refilled my coins, im going to use 6 of my diamonds to get 36 plays which Im going to use to train all the new pokemons that I want, especialy Zekrom and Kyurem
At max efficiency 1 Jewel gives 5000 coins. So if you're playing something like an escalation final boss where you buy all items and fail, it's cheaper to use the Jewel for 5 more moves, even 2 for 10 more moves than to try buying it again. The main time to use them is when you have a safari or escalation about to run out and don't have the hearts to finish it, that's when you buy them. Spending to get to grind faster when you'll end up just finishing earlier and then having nothing left to do is stupid and wasteful.
Im the type of guy that goes for the safest route; if the escalation has 200 stages, I go to 150. 300 stages, 250, etc.So far havent run into that scenario and even if, I would still have 2 jewels left.
according to math, that seems to be the better option, true.
Why does it matter?
We're talking about a freemium game, not like it's serious business, stop taking this so seriously and fine something serious to get this worked up about, faggot
>2 moves left
>it still gets out
>keep encountering Cherubi and Spindas
I only need him and Cherrim, seriously fuck these low catchrates
By this time I should be grinding out my Fighting, Fire and Rock squad for next week since I suck at timed events
let me indulge you about image boards;
All of them have a certain theme; this theme may be a general one (Video Games) or very specific (Pokemon). The very specific ones are not for people unfamiliar with the theme. If you go into such a board, its expected that you know something about it. And with something I mean more than just "Oh, I used to see/play/do that as a kid!". This is why people always make fun of reddit-esque posters (like you for example), because they embrace the people who arent as dedicated to the theme as them. Now in that themed image board there are different topics to talk about. To not clutter up to much space, they are collected in so called "generals" (you are in one, for example). If you go into a general, its expected that you know the know-how of how a general works: the OP always keeps one up-to-date with all the important information. If you are new to the general, you are supposed to read the OP first. And the /shuffle/ OP has a shit ton if information at hand. Abd if every new player would read the OP, we would be a bit slower, yes, but we would also be a lot better off.
inb4 lol autism, you do realise that we are on /vp/, right?
What do you mean by safest route? Especially now that we get 2 speedups from the final stage that seems silly.
>you're a douchebag for saying check OP even if you're not rude about it
>you're a faggot for answer easily answered questions
HOW DO WE WIN WITH YOU FUCKERS?
I mean that the last stretch usualy has some bullshit added to it where it becomes "giv shekelz pls". Only Keldeo made it worthwhile but I still couldnt bring myself to go that far.
also Person A is: Redditor(SJW, Warrior against anything that could come across as "mean".) OR Guy who asked the question
Person B is: typical 4chan guy
Support whatever group
right answer is Bsince there is no right answer is B
Cresselia is the only one that actually did that. All the others have been easily doable itemless save for boss stages, or potentially the last 5-10, but that's still worth a speedup when you consider the cost of getting one from a comp that has C-1 available.
Telling people to lurk moar can snowball into being /a/-tier - that is, shutting down any discussion of opinions by telling people to lurk moar whenever they ask someone to elaborate their opinions, let alone any information about facts.
Latios/Keldeo (forgot which one) last ten needed Double attack whcih was 30000. That + the actual boss (which required c-1 atleast), which is more than 2 tries at a full item competition run.
seems to me that you only once went to /a/, saw an image with a cute anime girl in it, asked "source?", got a LURK MOAR and then never came back.
I did them itemless for both of those.
If you need to tell yourself I'm lying as a way to convince yourself it's okay that you aren't good enough at the game to make the last speedups cheap enough to be worth it, then go right ahead. I'll enjoy my speedups and coins.
I only see such behaviour if the guy that got that response behaved extremly new-ish. But then again, I don't watch FOTM Anime's like Hamster, so that may explain this 2007 /b/ behaviour
That was in the 1.2.29 update on 1/12, and Mamoswine had placeholder data. The stage itself wasn't truly in the game until 1.2.30 on 1/19, which in the OP, and lists how many S ranks are needed. It's also available on pkparaiso, serebii, the guide, etc.
So what you're saying is you didn't read the pastebins. Next time refer to those instructions before looking like a dumbass.
>That was in the 1.2.29 update on 1/12
Why yes, I realized that about 7 hours ago, you massive faggot. I admit that I did not expect two expert stages to unlock at 280 and none at 270, especially after seeing the initial number in the previous pastebin.
I suppose your autism compels you to read each data dump in full when there's a new thread, but please keep in mind that some people have jobs, families and other responsibilities as opposed to being NEETs, like I suspect you to be.
Furthermore, in your great need to try to belittle anonymous posters on a thread about a children's game, you have successfully spoonfed anyone else who was in a similar situation. That must aggravate you.
Why are you being so hostile? I didn't belittle anyone at all. If you have time to post here you have time to open the pastebin and ctrl+f. Ad hominems will get you nowhere, I do have a life but really if you have time to play a video game you have time to read through the pastebin. Besides, if you wanted streamlined info you don't even need to check it, plenty of sources compile that into a neater format. I just don't get why you're so upset.
Damn, Mega-Fug is kicking my ass.
Oh well, I'll S-rank it later once I'm back at a good coin ammount.
Went from 99k to 49k through great balls and a few stages where I used items on my way from 261 to 300.
I'm genuinely confused by you. Oh well
tfw I gotta do these stages, but I need to keep my stock of coins up for the escalation event, and probably need to level up Machamp. Maybe that shitty Keldeo with power of 4+, too
Did you really need to drop 40 on us at once, GS? Spread. That. Shit. Out. We would have fewer dead weeks if you did.
It's worse for us mobilefags since the newer stages require higher level mons (like level 8-max) since their HPs are higher and with lower catch rates
From what I read in the pastebin most of the newer additions are useless in the grand scheme of things but are a nice thing to have
>still no M-Blaziken and M-Steelix yet
At least we'll have M-Sharpedo next week and we won't be stuck with M-Sableye any longer
Even if we had access to M-Blaziken it will take a bunch of grinding and coins to S-rank enough stages to access Delphox and with GS churning out new stages with high HP, it will take a long while
M-Banette was a waste since every mobilefag has access to M-Gengar already, I wouldn't mind M-Swampert at all
I can already see myself getting fucked in the ass with Roserade, Gothitelle, Galvantula and dem Ralts' evo lines
Last Ditch Effort, so not very good. 70BP makes it at least somewhat decent if you somehow end up in a stage weak to water with no disruptions and plan on using Swampert as a mega.
Don't count on using it much.
>Ray and Deoxys are both well known for recent space fuckery
>they're both placed in a reused amusement park instead of the reused space museum following M-Quaza
This only bolsters my suspicion that Genius Sorority is literally retarded.
Maybe you should actually read the OP sometime. It's there under Data.
40+ new Pokemon and stages, including Rayquaza demoted to a regular stage and its mega at the end of the zone. Most of them are pretty useless. Kyurem's 300-stage timed escalation comes next week. This is the first and last time I'm helping with current updates already in the OP.
I had no idea because I play on the 3DS. The original post didn't exactly specify what platform they were talking about, and there's too many people in these threads asking stupid questions, ironically and unironically.
This version divide is going to drive me nuts.
It's a 4 mon stage with Hera in predefined sky fall. No matter what you want him on your team and he may just be the best mega.
On the stages he's good on, M-Banette is vastly superior to M-Gengar.
Someplace I always get it.
Also just I checked and the mobile vision is slightly different for some reason.
Oh, cool then, I didn't see it mentioned in the pastebin and thought there'd only be barriers as disruptions, but I guess it only mentions the disruptions added by counter and not the skyfall?
Also, I like Heracross, I have him with max candies but he rarely works well enough, usually some other mega outclasses him, hope he makes it up for me in this stage.
>he gets called out on his bullshit
>he gets mad
>he calls names and basically throws random strawman arguments around
holy shit your rage is hilarious
>the newer stages require higher level mons (like level 8-max)
Isn't that complete bullshit, whatever your icons on mobile say?
We're talking about differences of 10% and less in damage output (compared to the easily attainable lv. 5), which usually isn't the difference between reliably beating a stage or not.
well it and can make a difference. a level 1 mon vs MAX is(on SE, obviously) a 40 point difference. It can (and will) reduce the amounts of turns you need to beat the stage by maybe 1 or 2, and this is crucial on S-ranking.
Does everyone agree that these last stages are actually fun? I mean, I'm up to Lanturn so far and at most I have needed 2 tries to clear a couple of them (I think Aggron was the one, and I can't remember the second) without using any items. No bullshit like Gothitelle at least.
Plus, I like that they gave us quite a few 3-Pokemon stages, and also the puzzle stages. Catching and S-ranking some of these new stages may need items and lots of trying, but simply clearing the stages is attainable without spending coins.
Oh, well, last week was dead week so I had reached (almost) max coins, spent around 8000 on items and great balls for Zekrom, grinded Meowth again till I hit (again almost) max coins and only started playing the new stages yesterday, and I'm not spending any coins (only the occasional great ball if I get a super catch rate on sth interesting) because I'm saving it for the escalation. The stages will be here after that anyway, why rush?
To be honest, I've been there before, with my coins being in the 4 digits area, and the way up to the 90s feels so dreadful that I'm not letting myself drop below the 70s again. Spend coins, then grind them back again before spending again, that's what I'm focusing on right now.
That was my initial thought, though Gengar can't clear disruptions. Absol is still better than Sharpedo though usually I feel.
Depends on version.
>Crowd Control: 20% 100% 100%
>Crowd Power: 40% 100% 100%
>Crowd Control: 20% 60% 80%
>Crowd Power: 25% 70% 90%
These numbers are in the respective pastebins for future reference.
Every data update is also a version update to the X in 1.n.X
