They make more money off microtransactions than selling the game. It's the reason they make them this way.
The difference between this and Picross or Rumble World is that this keeps getting updates, and you can't buy anything that gives you permanent rewards like unlocking new areas. You pay for only temporary goods that are consumed for temporary buffs. From a psychological standpoint it sells much better this way due to the few who will pay a lot rather than the many who will pay a little.

the .cia for shuffle is for all regions the same. You can use HANS (homebrew) to start it in different regions and play it just as normal. There were a few anons that competed in the japanese competitions this way.

Also as long as you are under 18 years old you cant spend more than 50 bucks a week on shuffle. Its most likely for parent control. Its somwhere in the terms & conditions.
Fun Fact: you need to be at least 18 years old to get technically legal access to this game (NNID and eshop are 18+)

how to s rank gardevoir?

So when I got my NN3DS and did a system transfer from my regular 3DS, it corrupt my Pokemon Shuffle save file (I'm assuming since I had to switch to a micro SD).

That said - has anyone here managed to successfully do a system transfer between two NN3DS systems and keep their original Pokemon Shuffle save file? I'm worried about it corrupting again.

Game only picks the mons you have with the highest power, not necessarily the best for each situation though. For example, using Mega Mewtwo with only one other psychic pokemon doesn't seem like a very good idea. Don't you have Victini to use instead of Salamence?

And with certain stages like this, that prove to be difficult to even beat consistently, I tend to go all items (or all items besides C-1 if it's not absolutely needed) so I can beat it, catch it (using Great Balls if I have to) and S-Rank it all at once. At least Mega stages are a guaranteed catch, so you don't have to worry about great balls.

My team used to be 2 neutral Po4+ mons, one ghost with non detrimental ability, one CC mon that isn't Gene or Heracross. It meant last turn there's practically always a 4 match for massive damage, and if I do dommage early I can match ghosts a while for very little damage. I maxed all neutral Po4+'s so now I'm onto Keldeo-R, neutral base 50, ghost, CC mon. Keldeo-R does over 600 damage on a po4+ so it almost always kills.

Just try M-Slowbro, Lugia, Dialga and strongest SE. Check if you can get medicham till like 40-50%. If it works use shufflemove. If not, grind moar and/or use a different strategy

The only reason to use speedups over Mega Starts is if you plan on using that Pokemon a lot. So, essentially... anyone you'd use a lot or anyone that can return some coins on your investment.

In practice this usually means Gengar (for everything), Lucario (for Escalations), Garchomp (for Electrics, including Ampharos who isn't particularly hard but can become slow and repetitive), and Mewtwo (for weekend Meowth).

But honestly as long as you're not wasting them on normals, dragons, or Sableye, you can get away with whatever. They give out more speedups than megas worth using them on anyway.
