So how do we access the timeline where Sun and Moon aren't shit and the best starter trio that never truly was are real?
Post nice pics

I didn't lost my hope, anon. There is still a chance for Roothoot being confirmed for UltrSunUltrMoo.

What if for gen 8 and onwards GF releases expansion packs that have content we normally see on third versions (move tutors, extra legendaries, a sub plot with a third legendary, extra areas, more post game etc.) instead of third or "Ultra"versions?
Too good for Gf to make
Why would they suddenly abandon the idea of printing a guaranteed million in sales by selling you the exact same game but with the extra fluff you mentioned by replacing it with printing far less via DLC that accomplishes the same thing?
>>33369827
It would be cheaper to produce plus 3rd version don't sell as much as main series games to begin with.
A few days ago one of the Japanese writers posted this AG script on their twitter. It's pretty funny because it shows May pushing Ash to the side like she's the new hero. The script was for AG13, the first ep that introduced Contests in the anime, so it makes sense why it's like this.
It makes it obvious the writers planned right from the start of Hoenn to make May into more of a major character at the time than Misty/Brock or what we were used to. Anyone wish we got more inside info on how the anime works?
>>33369646
Yeah i do its nice to see little things like that
>>33369646
>to make May into more of a major character at the time than Misty/Brock or what we were used to.
It certainly felt that way. Ash was particularly static that season while May got all the development and rivalries. They did a better job balancing it out in DP, though.

What writer?
Can anyone with any skill at all in spriting please complete a Spiral Shellder sprite using these? It would be for a good cause.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHSHAHAHAHAHAJSHJSHAHA
>>33369152
What really bugs me is that it's genwun stuff, so they have to have recognized the show and maybe even sought the picture involved. In my opinion that makes this seem like satire or someone trying to get others to think something rather than the author of the image genuinely believing it, but if the author does then it's even stranger.

What the hell is this? Looks like something from the year 1999 or something.
Are you telling me this is from 2017?
How do you usually play Pokemon?
Do you try to actually catch em all? If so, do you train your pokemon or you just catch the evolved form somewhere else?
Do you just build your team and proceed to steamroll everything in the region? How do you build your team? With your favourite pokemon, disregarding weakness and strenghts, or you actually plan out your team to have the most coverage?
Catch everything I find on each route and just switch out as I feel like using different Pokemon.
Helps make the newer games feel a bit more challenging.
>>33369062
I wing it. I make my team up as I go along, taking into account coverage but never planning in advance. It's just more fun to me that way.
I catch Pokemon I feel playing and kill the rest.
Post your rare maos
>>33369057
this... uh...
fuck off weeb
Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the boy
The boy who has everything?
Look at this trove
Treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Looking around here you think
Sure, she's got everything
I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
I've got whozits and whatzits galore
You want things of above?
I've got twenty!
But who cares?
No big deal
I want more
I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see, wanna see them dancing'
Walking around on those - what do you call 'em?
Oh - feet!
Flippin' your fins, you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumping, dancing
Strolling along down a - what's that word again?
Street
Up where they walk, up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free - wish I could be
Part of that world
What would I give if I could live out of these waters?
What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand?
Bet'cha on land they understand
Bet they don't reprimand their sons
Bright young men sick of swimming
Ready to stand
And ready to know what the people know
Ask 'em my questions and get some answers
What's a fire and why does it - what's the word?
Burn?
When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above?
Out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of that world....
Out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of your world
>she
Also a lot of 11 years old can have it as their first Pokemon is not that rare
>>33368878
And you consider the following
How do I use this pokemon in an ingame team?
>>33368833
By keeping it in your party and just fucking using it. If it sucks, level it up. Literally anything can succeed on an in-game team. That's the fun of it.
Use a lot of special attack TMs on it. It will take till lategame until it will get enough useful moves for a full good moveset though. For most of the game you will be stuck with psyshock and thunderbolt. Using the female counterpart is much easier because of useful level up moves. But if you prefer the male version just go for it. Its at least much easier to use ingame than amagarga and even that is doable... Good luck.
>>33368897
So basically i should use a moveset similar to what its female counterpart would use?
I guess thats easy enough with tms...
Trainers. 60-70% of Pokémon games are in the battle system; it's a core mechanic. So the battles you have against characters with as much supposed free will as you are crucial to the game's overall pace, immersion, difficulty, and fun factor. But is it really that easy?
How do you suppose trainer battles should be written? Do you like easy fights with characters just showcasing rarer, not seen before Pokémon on the chopping block? Were you upset with how the dancing rival was executed with X/Y, maybe; that perhaps a rival with a team's gimmick that extends into it's moveset is the way to go? Or perhaps, do you want a challenge with your fights, and have competent trainers using the best they can find to flatten you? If you prefer a balance, where do you draw the line?

I thought SM's trainer battles were pretty good, trial guides usually presented a decent challenge if you weren't over leveled. And we've had areas where you need to beat all the trainers in a space before challenging a tougher, mini boss-like opponent before, but never so many in one game. It was a nice addition. And that one trainer's Miltank kicked my ass harder than Whitney.

GC Pokemon games were one of the best this franchise ever saw, I loved the forced double battles
Generation 8's first title is not a DPPt remake, and here's why;
-It's the start of a new generation, meaning they can introduce new Pokemon, and it would take away from their creativity to introduce new Pokemon during a remake.
-It's Pokemon's first real main series game on a main platform, meaning it's an opportunity to introduce Pokemon to the world again, they'll want something fresh, yet with heavy kantofaggotry to keep all the genwonners and Pokemon Go players on board.
- Remakes always come as the second set of titles in a generation
-Everyone loves Sinnoh and they want to do it right, not because it's expected of them. When your fandom forces a remake, you end up with garbage like ORAS.
Do you agree/disagree?
>Everyone loves Sinnoh
You really should have stopped listing points one sooner, prepare for shitposting
>Everyone loves Sinnoh
>>33368602
I mostly agree with you, though there are some details I think you're wrong about. It makes very little sense for a generation to start with a remake. Obviously there are some unusual circumstances here, with the impending move to console, but I still don't think they'll start a new generation/console off with a remake. It doesn't make good business sense.
We will get D/P remakes, but they'll either be on 3DS after USM, or will be on Switch after the first Gen VIII game.
