Is there any romhacks for these games that improve the gameplay but keep the graphics and story the same?
I basically want the advanced battle mechanics from the later games in this game. I also want some of the obvious conveniences introduced like not having to hit start and select the pokemon to cut trees and no bike music for half the game. I know remakes exists but I prefer the original aesthetics because of reasons.
Does this exist /vp/?

Is there any way I can use the UPRandomizer (or something similar) to alter the stats, moves, types, and abilities of Pokemon to whatever I want them to be rather than just randomizing them?

To be fair, they can be easily beaten in 20 hours.The prima guides are like $5 and they handhold you through it all. If you have the time/cash, I'd suggest playing both. XD is an indirect sequel to Colosseum, in a way.
If Pokemon Box weren't $500, you could just use that.

I'm playing Yellow on an emulator and my Abra just evolved in a Kadabra. I know I can and I should evolve him asap but I'd like to enjoy him a bit as Kadabra before evolving him. Is there any point in the game where I should evolve it in Alakazam because, as Kadabra, he can't keep up anymore?

Kadabra will manage the whole game. 105 speed is very fast in Gen I, its physical bulk barely increases when it evolves and 120 special is obviously great. No need to evolve it at all desu
