I went around to replaying Pokemon X this past weekend. I have to honestly admit that the game isn't bad. The actual campaign is fine and you can tell a lot of work was put in the 3d world presentation of the game.
As for Team Flare, I honestly feel like if you talk to the NPCs, you get a more of an understanding with Team Flare's motivations just like you get the bigger picture in BW by talking to the NPCs and understanding how they see things.
XY's difficulty isn't hard, but I'd honestly say RGBY was the easiest game because you legit just have a Blastoise with Ice Beam and you win the entire game.
I think Gen 6 had a ton of features, and it introduced the PSS. Plus, in the 2 hours of XY, I got to actually explore without major roadblocks. In SM, I barely got my starter, and maybe barely have gotten to Ilima. The lack of handholding is suddenly refreshing.
Plus the XY rivals aren't even that bad. All of them are one dimensional, but they aren't hindrances as most people think. Want to know who they were at least better than? Hau.
I honestly had more fun playing XY more than SM and I would be completely satisfied with XY being the last installment in the franchise.

Sure, there was a ton of missed potential here, as is old Game Freak tradition. I've also reached a point where I'm no longer willing to overlook Game Freak's retarded decisions, but I did enjoy XY even if it was far from perfect.
SM took my love for this franchise out into the woods, killed it and fucked its warm corpse...

Yes. The next Box legendary is literally just Incineroar. He is on another planet called tooney in the solar system tygar. You give him milk and then he'll give you frosted fakes, those are the Pokemon equivilant of frosted flakes btw. You bring these frosted flakes to Sophocles, who will return as a fat bara eating chips in front of a TV whining about his miserable existence. He will give you the bara ball. With the bara ball all the baras are catchable. You can even catch Sophocles, he's basically a fatter version of Kekking. Then you catch Incineroar and after you do it will evolve into its ultimate bara form. Space and Time will literally be ripped apart by the imense bara power that will be released. Then you have do use Incineroar to defeat all kinds of new bara forms of old Pokemon.

One of things I liked about FRLG and HGSS were how the music was arranged.
Of course when you're going from 8-bit to whatever the GBA and DS used you're going there are going to be some differences and upgrades in sound, but I liked what they did to the themes and gave new life to the music. I can't really put my finger on it
