I already used every Alola only team I cared to use, so I'm doing no Alola mons this time.

Is the repeating type really a problem?

I was planning on using no repeating types on my first moon playthrough but ended up using Primarina, A-Raticate, Crabrawler, Comfey, Oranguru, and A-Exeggcutor

I planned out my whole team for Moon. It didn't cause any problems because I always do all new mons for new gens and they revealed nearly every damn pokemon before release so I wasn't blindsided by a new favourite or anything, but I'm gonna try all new stuff and not plan anything in advance this time.

All I know is I'm starting with Rowlet this time (Litten last time), not using exclusively new Pokemon, and not using anything I used in Moon.

Thinking of adding Mienfoo to this and waiting for some news before committing to a team if no good new pokemon ill just use Lurantis+A.Ninetales

I'd use Bewear or Passimian but I didn't want more than 2 of the same weakness on my team or use a Pokemon I had already used before.

Since Bewear is technically weak to Fire with its preferred ability, that'd bump my Fire weaknesses up to 3

The rest I have no idea. In Moon I used only Gen 7 Pokemon, so this time I'll probably use Pokemon from previous gens too. If there are new Alolan forms I'll probably use some of those too.

honestly, thanks to the generous exp share I used a rotating team of like a dozen Pokemon in Moon, so I pretty much feel like I got all the Alola mons I wanted, except Alolan Ninetales.

So I'll wait to see what's available in USUM before I even decide to buy it, much less plan a team.

Probably using the same team again if there really is no new Alola forms. Not gonna post it though since it will probably derail the entire thread in shitposting and I think my taste can be considered shit anyway.

There isn't much fun. I just didn't like a whole lot of Alola mons. And the ones I do like already have every type covered I had on my previous team. I'm gonna change my mind if new Alola forms are a thing if not I don't see much of a reason to do so. Maybe i'll use older mons if instant bank support is a thing.
