Hey guys, I've just loaded up FNV after a long while. Started to get issues with a mod, don't think it's FCO or ILO, but basically when the game loads a new cell it crashes.
IE Doc Mitchell's home is fine, then I step outside and after exactly one second it crashes.
I load the game from the autosave, I can walk a small distance away from the house, then it crashes. I'm presuming it might be a scripting conflict.

I used LOOT to optimise the load order, is it possible it's fucked up?

How can I reliably amass caps in survival mode? Seems like the absolute most I can get for selling anything except my good weapons is about 50 caps. I recommend Vicious Wastes, Ultimate Illness Mod, Alternative Repairing, Water Overhaul (overhauls water and its effects, also allows you to bottle waters seamlessly, but removes natural sources of purified water that you can easily patch back with FNVEdit), among other mods.

Anyone who plays with The Groovatron mod for F:NV knows if it works with any animation mod? As in: if I install any animation mod that uses an .esp (I presume all do), will I be able to select its poses through The Groovatron?

I had this issue yesterday Anon, it may not be LOOT. If you're using Mod Organizer, the left side tab sorts the priority of installed mods and uses a thunderbolt with a +/- to tell you what files are being overwritten, you may need to organize MO's managed mods to match your plugin load order. This is what fixed my crashing with the same issue.

They do, but if you don't go stealth-melee and opt for a more hands-on approach, you generally have fuckall AP to work with. Right now, I can heavy attack twice before running out of AP. Which, if you are playing at any level above normal, is hardly enough to deal enough damage to kill most times and then you're back to waiting for AP to come back while swinging at them in a futile manner since they'll just block you and stagger you anyways.

Try zombie walkers mod.
Makes them slow, but incredibly tough and strong. Only aiming for the head is effective to any measure, though their head is a very weak spot for them, so it makes it harder for melee/unarmed builds and anyone who gets jumped up on by them, but a little easier for ranged players.
On the upside, explosives are less effective on them too due to the Romero rules.

Are there any Fallout 4 weapon mods that give you a one-handed shotgun for the pistoleros and gunslingers out there?

I had hoped that having a sawn-off with a pistol grip in Fallout 4 would accomplish this, but... apparently not!

but I use perkpointsperlevel and set it to 2
I also use perks aren't special so I cna take any perks I want

I balance it with a higher difficulty and using mods like WotC to jack up random encounters

it feels like perks feel more like skills and you can tailor the play through to make your character actually unique

my character might be 1/9/3/1/7/8/1 but i've taken perks like armorer and gun nut because my character likes to tinker

and steady aim because my character is a crack shot and lone wanderer because my character always travels alone
