Carrier ratting is basically 100% safe as you can rat perma alinged 100km+ off. You're only ever dieing to a straight up awox.

Hell if your part of goons or something and your an absolute mong who ignores intel, local, dscan, is not aligned, can't haze a sabre with 1800+dps that applies perfectly to almost everything (note all the things that have to go wrong for even inital tackle to take place here) you can just cyno in like 50 titans or whatever to save you.

Supers are the same, but at least their vast cost means that autism needed to catch these fuckers is made a little more worth it.

My upset at this recent "Max" ping fiesta is that we are still disorganised as fuck, and instead of trying to address and fix the issues that lead to a 25 cap loss, we are going to just make the pre-existing issues worse.
For example the corp needs a proper SRP program for the members who are in a dedicated defense fleet, this fucking standing fleet bullshit where there are at least 2 VNIs everytime I respond who are just killmail whoring for isk is retarded. Then suddenly a tengu gets reported and the standing fleet is nowhere to be found unless one of the 3 decent pvp FCs is online to force the one's claiming to be pvping into action.

Its been dead as hell lately to the point where we had 30+ people camping a system to get a nomen earlier. This is my point bud, the standing fleet pilots are keen, sure, but that doesn't make them competent.
Just look at the damage the orthus has been doing in the ratting pockets, no matter how many chase it, they lose it.

Furthermore, people bubble infront of gates, get stuck in our own bubbles etc, and the standing fleet who is meant to be organising the bubbles is nowhere to save the retards that get stuck.

We need a paid, SRPed, "full-time" defense fleet of competent cap and sub-cap pilots who can react to threats and keep the pockets safe.
Safer pockets, means more income, means better defence, means more income, means a reasonable offense.

Instead, we have this fiesta, in which during the start of that cap chase we had a bunch of new krabs get murdered by campers because the standing fleets evaporated.

The standing fleet is a general safety net, not guaranteed to save your arse. Almost all of the deaths in ratting pockets are retards who don't dock up despite both Intel and neuts in their fucking local. Even then they usually w up half way into armour after they're finished panicking and screaming "HELP" on comms without their name or location.

Sometimes there are quick inties and no warning, fair enough. But that's very rare. If I see a krab w up in fleet after we've warned them 3 times up the pipe, even if I'm in system, you bet I'm just going to let them die.

We need a dedicated defense fleet which is funded by tax to protect the krabs from themselves.

This dedicated tax pay would also allow the good pvpers to do what they are good at, and allow krabs a safespace to learn the game before trying to get involved in system defense.
Also, a kick/ban threat for talking in intel would be pretty welcome imo.

I am purely a tourism, I have been a member of some big and arguably successful corps, and this is my reccomendation for improvement.

Its a superior sleeper cache and you need something like 100 to scan those down I think. You could also try to manually move probes closer with different pattern, honestly don't know how to do that for optimal results, usually just played with it and scanned stuff down.

What's some good PvP corps for moderatrely new people? I've been playing for ~ a year and have 8m SP.

I've got a basic understanding of mechanics but want to get into a friendly environment where I can do mostly small gang PvP with like 5-15 other people, and maybe fleets, rarely. Large scale stuff doesn't really appeal to me. Something social where there's actively people on willing to do shit.

Is Karmafleet a good option?
