The problem is exactly to combat botting by making it redundant by implementing something like this. At the end, the spread will stabilize around one sell and one buy price for the day, and all the orders will pile up over that one price. If the sell orders are oversupplied and its taking way too much for the entire stockpile at that price to fill up, then the market corrects itself by having the impatient guys sell directly to buy for a minor loss until the sell orders are no longer oversupplied

So I found myself a shattered C3 Magnetar w/ LS static to live in for a bit. The problem I think Im going to have is damage application with my HAM Tengu. I have a TP and Guidence Comp on it, so it regular C3 I just use Javs for the frigs, and I get better DPS with Rages on cruisers.
In the Magnetar I think Ill have problems with application to frigs. Any fitting tips? Should I just switch to Webs + Rails? Down to light missiles and replace my application modules with straight damage? I can only really fly Tengus or Caldari Cruisers at the moment so no dual web arty loki dankness.

Any tips for exploration? Its mind numbing to try and scan down data/relic sites and only getting wormholes. I just wanna make some ISK so I can start doing PvP.

Depending on your hacking skills I would pass data sites. its just not efficient to run them unless you max out your skills (if you chose too).

Worm Holes are good for finding pirate sites so don't pass em up. Just make sure they arent the sleeper ones because they will kill you.

and as always keep d-scan up, don't let your self get ganked. People like me make a hobby of using asteros to find people in relic sites.

WH exploration tips:
Remember that in WHs there is no local, so the only way to check whether there is a threat is by mashing D-scan regularly. You should try and have a cloak and scan whilst cloaked at a safe, even if you don't have a cov-ops ship yet. Only bother with relic sites, data loot is still generally not worthwhile. Only go to sites that have a pirate faction name, as others contain sleeper npcs that will kill you. Null relic and data sites are only found in C1-3 WHs, which can be identified by going show info on a WH before you enter it. If it says it leads to 'unknown space', rather than dangerous or deadly unknown space you are about to enter a WH of the correct class. You'll also see info here for how much longer a WH will last, which will help to prevent you getting lost. Always bookmark WHs on both sides and carry spare probes. Also, avoid pirate sites that say 'Covert Research Facility' unless you know what you're doing with ghost sites. Prioritise Sansha sites, as these contain 'intact armor plates' that provide the most isk.

if you can fly a ceptor, fit it for relic sites and then fly to null. If you can't, fit a heron or some bullshit (in the case of a magnate or other low-slot heavy ship fit for align) then fly around lowsec and do those sites. In sansha lowsec there's a chance for loot upwards of 16 mil isk.

I came back to this game a couple years ago after a long time off. To give you an idea of "when", I remember that the last person I had spoken with before I got rid of my last real char was vile rat.

Now...in the past I had never tried to scam anyone ever. There was one instance where I lost half a million isk to a scammer, but it was barely anything to me. I was always the kind of person who would give you your isk back if you accidentally added an extra 0 and didn't realize while trading.

Since I had nothing, I figured I'd really try my hand at scamming.
Within a week I had scammed 16 billion isk from various people by impersonating another player. Similar name, similar portrait, and a corp with a . at the end. I had a disclaimer in my bio saying that I wasn't affiliated with the other person, their corp, or their alliance.
Within a day of getting that isk, I was banned.
I appealed my ban successfully, and fortunately had already transferred all the isk to an alt. My primary character was set to -16 billion isk, and I deleted him within a day. My alt still had the 16 billion isk in the end.

I gave all my isk away to some people I knew a long time ago and quit again.

It's all well and good to trick people with misleading contracts, to rob an entire alliance/corp blind...yet impersonation of non-GMs is disallowed? What a stupid game with stupid rules.

They should make all gas clouds/rocks formations/belts/anomalies bigger than the max zoom out because it looks stupid when you do zoom out which is 90% of the time.

Toasters won't be affected too much because it's just a matter of upscaling rocks and clouds
