it's not that we hate all-ages. It's that we hate content that SHOULD be +18 but was instead made all-ages just to make it easier to release/market.
The entire point of slice of life/moege with romance is that we want to see the build up of characters and their relationships, doubly so if the protag is the one involved in it. Seeing the entirety of the "adult" aspect sidelined and either never happening or simply happening off-screen is a really shitty cop-out that (most of the time) sours the entire fantasy.
Tomoyo After is a pretty good example here. The H that happens in the beginning of the +18 version really isn't needed. It's literally just thrown in there to reach quota and while it's nice, it's not really needed and contributes nothing to the characters (aside from Tomoyo's brother). I'm fine with it being removed, however I'm not fine with the "Bad end" H being removed because that was a very important part of not only the direct story, but of the characters themselves.

Rather then have the MC do the keikaku, just have someone else doing the bulk with the MC getting carried along for the ride. Maybe making minor choices with minor consequences. The MC being a manipulated puppet without realizing until the very end would be a great twist.

The way F/HA functions is that there are 'plot' events and 'SOL/Comedy/other' events. If you see all the plot events (which are listed in a menu somewhere, I forget, so don't worry about doing it accidentally), that triggers it to move to the next phase of the game and unlocks a bunch more plot events and a few new SOL events. Try to see every single SOL event possible before watching plot ones, you need to get 100% scenes viewed to unlock the epilogue and some can be lost forever if you move on to the next plot section too quickly (although they might have fixed that glitch in a patch since I played).
