So two routes down (Nagamori and Misaki) . It's hard to see why anyone ever actually considered this a great game when it fails on just about every level to create satisfying drama and romance. Is there a single Key game where the protagonist actually meets a girl and they actually seem to be in love? Most of the time it just seems to be the protagonist forcing himself on the girl and fucking her.

How are you supposed to have an emotional reaction to dramatic scenes when they're over so quickly? Would it have been too much work to add some more descriptions?

The game tries to do something interesting using this another world type thing in dreams but all of those scenes are stupidly short and overly vague. No CGs either for these scenes. Some kind of overlying plot maybe involving the girl's problem and solving them would also help. It's just really boring slice of life until like the last 20-30 minutes.

At least the common route is funny. Nakige like scenarios weren't even new when these games came out. Even things like Yu-no had them.

Should I bother with another route and if so which one?

I actually liked the magic world, there's just not nearly enough of it. All the routes seeming to revolve around Kouhei vanishing from the world kind of makes them predictable.He's not solving individual heroine problems, they're all focused on him making the story feel linear. It's VERY flawed.
