The cart and bucket are just big reagent containers. You can use the mop on them to wet the mop and clean up. Space cleaner on a mop works just as well as water but doesn't slip. Upgrading the cart just makes it clean anything it passes over, making the mop useless unless you want to slip people . For maximum slips, fill a spray bottle with water

in terms of players I'd say urist. cordial english speakers who don't act like mental patients for the fahnnie joekz all day. they're just an endangered species that play for like four hours a day.

overall we're probably the best in terms of striking a balance between player demographics. there are lots of erp furries and greytiders but neither has a stranglehold on the server like paradise or TG for instance.

We handle new player questions through ahelps and more often than not are willing to answer a few questions and direct players to the wiki when we're not resolving serious ahelps.

We'll probably never implement it since it's a bunch of server staff overhead for a small gain that few players genuinely need. We'd rather focus on improving the wiki. If you're really stuck and don't know where to turn press F1 and write a message to admins. But generally if you ask in game (using in game communication and not OOC or the thread) people are willing to teach and learn.

I've been here for about 7 years.
Experienced players go through phases. It's a sine wave between "I haven't done this job in a while, lets pretend we're new all over again" and "I've done everything there is to do, lets find new ways to powergame and show off". It's an eternal search for the natural chemistry that only occurs in space, but too often it feels forced.

The greatest break to this cycle is new players. it's a breath of fresh plasma getting to watch other people experience spess for the first time, creating events naturally, and personally there's nothing I enjoy more than training new hires on the station.

Don't be intimidated, you're a treasure the best of us will appreciate.
