DD really needs more fanartedition
>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

If the guys who made the AutoHotKey script that binds J, C and M to quests, equipment and map is here, I installed it but pressing any of the keys (J,C or M) just cycles through the stuff.
For example, I'll press either J,C or M and it'll bring me to inventory, Second press brings up map and third brings up equipment.
This thread has been blessed with the spirit of Bob Ross.
Arc is totally fucking ridiculous.
Once your weapon damage get's really high, you can out DPS with repeated Lashes or Lunges... but the knockdown on Arc is ridiculous especially once you get the ring.
consider hiring my loli sorc, she has good inclinations/spells
Pawn - Whore (Level 170)
Steam - Bythorshoa
remember to send good gifts and good ratings, friends
Alright so I gave 2 testimonies and one faked thing to save Fournival and he was still found guilty
Because of the autosave there's no way I can avoid this, so does it matter? One less shop is a pain in the ass but other than that I can't see it being a problem
that guy looks as much like bob ross as my ass
my ass has a beard
try again bitch
It's my first time through the game so I'll probably end up swapping over to something else once I max out Warrior anyway
>tfw finally maxed out swordy bordy and swapped to swingy smashy
Could anybody give me a working Key settings for SweetFX? Every time I remove the / character before the line, the game crashes on start. This is what I have by default:
>// key_toggle_sweetfx = 45 ; 45 = Einfg
>// key_screenshot = 35 ; 35 = Ende->
>// key_reload_sweetfx = 46 ; 46 = Entf
Is there anyway to get a pawn to re-cast a buff on me or change it?
I often hire pawns with multiple element boons and frequently they'll give me a bad element (like fire on hell hounds) and even if I spam help they wont do shit so I'm just nerfed until it wears off, hoping it doesn't cast fucking fire boon on me again.
>gifted NPC 70 skulls
>still not max affinity
WHY WONT YOU LOVE ME STEFFEN?
Most people tackle BBI either after beating the game or during post-game, yes. Around level 60 or so.
What do you mean by ending class? Both are valid pawn choices (though Warrior is probably the worst of all 6 classes), given they're trained well and have the right inclinations so they're not doing stupid shit all the time.
So I started up the game to see how it would run on my computer. At max setting I didn't get any noticeable slow-down. Is this indicative of how the game will run or is that a poor benchmark seeing as the whole part leading up to charecter creation was inside?
I did Hardmodo too, but because I played the crap out of DDDA on console and was more than happy to efficiently grind out levels and rush some shit.
Doesn't have much impact on BBI though, that has more to do with gear than anything. If you didn't get lucky with a L2 Cursed Weapon or rarify a high level vanilla weapon you will probably get stopped cold at Sweet Pope & Hella Drake.
I belive they need higher beast knowledge to apply the right buff
that's just what I read though.
I gave my pawn fire and holy, both should be fine even if the other one would have been better
So what's so good about MA again? I thought I would give it a shot since everyone was raving about it but it's been pretty underwhelming so far in terms of damage and fun.
I got the most frame rate drops swinging the camera arount in the first town. If you don't get lag there you should be fine.
Yo, I'm new. I'm level 27, holding off on Wyrm Hunt, been mostly strider but am leveling warrior now to get the strength buff. I don't know squat diddly about raising a proper pawn. I hear you have to be the same class as your pawn and then "show them what to do," but my pawn is a Mage. Would I have to become a Mage as well? Would I have to level up as a Mage to get particular spells, to use them in a certain way so the pawn learns?
Ok I will give that a try, Honestly I'm surprised it runs at well as is does. T ought I would be having lots of problems at max settings. PIC REALTED.
MA dominates BBI like no other.
Your pawn learns from you. If you pick up loot during combat, your pawn will eventually do it too, things like that. Its easiest to train a pawn by playing the same class as it with the same skills.
Sure, post all three pictures of her.
Oop, we already did.
>enter the pilgrim's gauntlet
>grab the void key
>cursed dragon spawns as usual
>go to engage it like I normally would
>mfw doing literally 0 damage to it
Holy fuckballs I really need to get a new bow. I don't remember this happening.
what? in case you want to just look her up on the rift
i'm not even getting rewards/messages that my pawn is getting used
Why'd you have to remind me anon ;_;
Whoops, getting tired, didn't even read the second letter
So during loading screens, if I have a video open on my second monitor, or just the browser, my CPU skyrockets and the video starts stuttering
Once it loads it's all fine
Anyone else has this?
This does not happen at any other stage, just the loads. Sometimes the fps drops for about 2-3 seconds after I alt-tab, but that's fine
Hmmm, seems like it's disabled by default. The AppCrash always points to d3d9.dll. That being said ...
So my computer can't handle this game.
Guess I'll just kill myself.
That's what I keep hearing but it doesn't seem that amazing to me. Why is it so good? I thought it would be ricochet bolt since BBI is mostly in doors as far as I've been but it didn't seem to do a whole lot.
When I was on 360 I played Assassin and I was prying faces off Manticore like nothing but now they are quite the struggle.
>he uses fullscreen
borderless window masterrace here
im using a 6 year old pc and its sitting at 5-15% usage and less than half memory usage at 50%
and ive got two browsers open
>Why is it so good?
Nearly every enemy in BBI is weak to magic of one form or another. MA has a skill called Ricochet Arrow which does Ice Damage and bounces off walls to do more and more damage. Since the majority of BBI is hallways and tunnels, they can effectively wipe out enemies in seconds with a single skill. Not to mention their other great skills like Immolation, Rivet, Shadowsnare, etc.
If you're struggling with MA, your mag atk skill is low. Get better gear.
Does pawn learning ever cut off? If I want my pawn to collect items in combat, but eventually I stop trying to collect items in combat, will it do it less often? Even as we level all the way up to 100?
>kill all 3 dragons in post game
>took me a grand total of 5 minutes
>no gear dragonforged
>Pawn has been on two trips in the span of 12 hours
>50k rift crystals
How far is your stuff already upgraded? Even at 3 stars its only a 18% chance when you kill drakes/wyrms/wyverns.
If you kill the wyrm on floor 10 of the everfall in post-game you can godsbane yourself and retry until you get something dragonforged.
>you can teleport 1/4th the way up the total length of the river by dash jumping toward the base of the Nameless Falls and letting the brine take you
>game has no idea what the fuck is going on and takes a few seconds to spawn in the Saurians around you where you wash up
Forgive the toaster graphics.
Got scather and mitigator and skills are corona, exodus and war cry
can i knee harpies in the face?
oh god I fell out of the everfall
I dont know how to get back
not him but you should use it, just run it in the background at launch and never worry about games that don't use borderless ever again.
it's the most popular tool for it and it works like a charm.
New player here, about to start up the game fore the first time. i don't know much about the pawn system, but I do know that I can rent out my pawn to other players.
Now, what is a good idea for a pawn's party role? I'm thinking of playing a bow dude or some shit, so I'm thinking a fighter to get between me and motherfuckers would be a good idea, but are fighter pawns something people recruit?
Hardmode is all well and good, but I went Normal so I could piss around and complete every side quest for The Hero trophy. I don't know why, but I feel so accomplished for getting them all in one playthrough based solely on memory.
>tfw killed Ur in 40-something generation back on PS3
Just play offline, its not that hard.
Most people like mages that buff. Any class can be a fine option, as long as they're not retarded. Don't worry so much about your pawn in the beginning.
Name? I can swap out white-elf out of my team if you're aching for the RC
Though the Warrior will very much be a carry instead of having a Ranger/Mage/Tank
Make sure to ride a Succubus up here so you can get the Macabre Sculpture. It's far more difficult to get in BBI 2.0.
So how is everyone enjoying the pimp life? I hear it's rough.
But my pawn is a loli, anon.
Nobody hires lolis.
You can change your pawn's vocation after level 10, when you get to Gran Soren
It is recommended to be a similar vocation, if not the same, as your pawn, so you can better train them in using their skills effectively
If it is your first playthrough then don't even worry about it, just pick whatever you want and go crazy
The game isn't that hard, with or without pawns
Pawn added to the doc, sorc level 44 named Hawthorne, Utilitarian/Challenger. Use my bear slut well, boys.
Or just do whatever as long as you use him, really
I killed him a dozen times. There's a facebook group that sends out an alert every time he's near the grace period where he spawns at 1% on PS3. There might be somehting like that for the PC version too.
>mfw heading downtown to get my swag on at the Black Cat
>mfw I see the bum I kicked off my land
>mfw I see the Arisen I rused into doing my dirty work by giving him some bullshit about how its his job to help people who are "in trouble"
>mfw I just mosey up and walk right between them while they are talking to each other
>mfw they bertstare at me as I walk by
>mfw they can't do shit because I'm motherfucking Fournival bitch
Feels good to be a noble
DD looks like a game I'll get many hours out of, so I'm going to try my best not to fuck up my Pawn. I'm already looking in to the inclination stuff, and apparently I can "teach" them stuff that they'll try and use themselves, and if successful it'll get used more and more. I understand that there's a "perfect block"/"parry" system; could I teach my Pawn to perfect block a lot?
If so, would starting out as a fighter with a fighter pawn just to teach them how to block be worthwhile? If nothing else, if I decide to start playing a ranger/bow dude later on, I have a fighter very good at those blocks.
>pawn hired by friend because he's a good friend
>he's my only hire out of 4 people on here who added me on steam or any randoms
>20k rift crystals
>friend hires his pawn out, i grab it because it's a p good mage
>212000 rift crystals in one day
>he's still climbing the rankings.
I've gotten zero hires on my fighter even though she is min maxed with almost perfect STR. Which is odd since I know my friend has used her. Probably doesn't help that she's brown.
Depends on what your stat build is at that point and if you're using buffs to kill him or just running away.
Stop picking up shit during fights.
Perfect Block is MK exclusive IIRC, and Pawns cannot be MKs.
i genuinely dont understand how mages get hired as much as they do
sorcerers i could understand, but i guess your average pleb is obsessed with the idea of halidom/anodyne/affinity.
>they both work together so you're constantly avoiding lighting while fighting the armor
>3 eliminators on the bridge
What sick depraved fuck thought of this
>mfw my pawn comes back with a rock and 0 RC
I'm fairly sure I only do the looting AFTER battle, but I did pick up my fair share of shit when fighting as well...
Should I be aiming for Utilitarian/Medicant for the aforementioned support medic when I'm a melee class?
Or Challenger/Medicant? I'm new to this.
this game is impossible to play without shitton of meta knowledge. kind of annoying really. and don't tell me it's old school. you can't drop shit like this in 2016 and expect people to eat it up. we don't have the time anymore.
>go to bbi as an underleveled warrior
>hide in next room while ranged pawns do something since I'm a fucking warrior
>get put to sleep and death sweeps his giant scythe through solid wall to kill me
Corpse Dragon or Death shown up yet? You got unlucky with mostly Living Armor spawns in the city too, that's a bummer.
Holy crap, there is NO fanart for these characters.
We need drawfags, stat!
my pawn is a
I'm one of the guys obsessed with affinity
it like triples my already decent damage.
and an anodyne spam is a pretty good crutch for doing your first playthrough.
It's easier to make your own optimal healslut than filter through other people's.
Right now mine is doing her duty as a sorc before going fighter for some hp though. Fucking mage stat growths...
The other version's just as bad. The other version has TWO regular Wyverns spamming Lassitude/Levin with the city being full of Eliminators and 3 Living Armour guarding the Sanctum door.
Fallen City 2.0 does NOT fuck around.
Oh, if you insist then, anon.
My ID is https://steamcommunity.com/id/raresteak/.
You have a heart of gold.
I'm not sure how to do this, but here goes:
Face Shape 28
All with their default positions/sizes.
pic related, actually
they just have garbage mdef so just about anything is good against them. they just proc fire/ice's debilitating effects easier i think
>be Warrior in BBI
>still hide and run like a little bitch from Death, because even in the area where you can kill it, I can never get proper swing at the fucker due to MY BODY GROWS WEARY MASTER
I KNOW AND YOU'RE NOT HELPING, FUCK
>you miss completely the quest for escorting Madelaine to the encampment because the main quest DIRECTLY rushes you there before you even have a clue of what's going on in the game yet
>SORRY YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO HER LATE GAME QUEST NOW FUCK YOU
pls hire my pawn ;_;
She needs training, likes to climb on top of big
do gloves of might also work for pawns?
He showed up immediately after I killed the two dragons in the previous room. Managed to kill him too, though. I saw all that shit and just booked it to get the lv3 armor chest then liftstoned out.
>gloves of might
>mfw bringing Maker's Arrow to Grigori fight
I don't even need my things dragonforged
There are two different ones, they can be either drops or bought from merchants at a specific stage
There is one in Shadow Fort, too
You can drop down to a ledge with a chest from the wall when you're heading to the Goblin King
I dunno man. I dont see how people play with no pawns or even just a main pawn. Boss mobs are doable but any pack of mobs I come across fuck my shit, especially bandits. I dont know how people do it.
Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, I'm the one with a private profile and this pic.
Can one of you post the image showing what your pawn will say whether its aggressive, timid, or confident?
you'd probably get a better answer from someone with more experience with fighter pawns but I think angling for a scather/mitigator might be good.
As for being the same class as your pawn. I think it helps but it's not necessary. It might be different for fighters though and a few levels as a fighter wouldn't hurt anyway.
As someone who played the 360 version for a few thousand hours... what the fuck. Why are bandits so strong? On 360 I went strider>ma>fighter>ma and didn't minmax even a bit on my arisen (though I did for my pawn), but bandits were never a problem. Now if I run into a group there's 500 of them and 20 of them have bows that do half of my nearly 2k hp even with 3 star mid-game gear.
So I've searched the wiki but still have no answer to this: If you for example used a split damage weapon (like boltbringer) for warrior and used Arc of deliverance would the damage modifier only apply to the physical part of the damage? As in the attack would only do the usual amount of magick damage + massively enhanced strength damage
Remember to throw lolis into the brine.
>it just keeps happening
Fuck yes! Now I can afford to make his skin bright green!
What a time to be alive
As a warrior she should be sitting on the ground chargig slow attacks at monster's feet or carving waves of little ones out of the way.
Plus the fire sword is going to split her damage- she should have a plain physical weapon to maximize on her strength.
It's worth having around for personal progression.
Pawns are really really spotty when it comes to using specific core skills and I don't want a Sorc standing around buffing people.
It's the same shit with Voidspell, too.
I'm not wasting a spell slot on my sorc cuz dumbdumb niggers don't carry petrify removing curatives.
I'm guessing the multiplier applies to both parts of the damage. I can't see why it wouldn't.
When I played on PS3 I gave Wakestones out as the default parting gift. All 3 stars means it was as average a pawn as could be. Wakestone is mostly just a way of saying thanks.
Is there an easy way to get the griffon outside of Gran to fucking spawn?
It spawned once, forever ago, and I haven't been able to get it to spawn since. It flew off last time without me killing it.
I guess he just honestly thought your Pawn was average.
Back in the day thee was a social contract that any time you rented someone's Pawn, you gave them 5 stars. I never really liked that.
That's dumb. If your pawn looks like shit or is dumb I'm not rating them high in appearance/battle.
I think the least I've given in anything is 3 all around though, I try not to hire ugly/stupid pawns in the first place. Fighterbros that grapple smaller enemies for me to 1-shot automatically get 4 stars minimum
> two utilitarian pawns sync up and springboard onto a griffin, bringing it down on their own
>sorc just stands there and awkwardly casts lightning enchant on me
If I favourite a Pawn and dismiss it, when I go back later to re summon it will it level up/scale with whoever made it playing their game?
Or will I only ever be able to resummon them as they were when I first got them?
>Try out MK due to all the buzz in thread
Oh god this is wondrous.
Conqueror's is probably the most useful. It stacks 4 times.
Conq's + Blast Errors makes your Ranger Death.
They'll change when you dismiss them. Every time you summon them from the Rift, they'll be at their highest level.
Yeah, dismissing a pawn lets it catch up to the last time the player who owns it slept.
If you find a pawn with a very active player, you can essentially keep rehiring that pawn and keep adventuring with him.
I'm still waiting to see whether mine will fall victim to that "standing around buffing instead of nuking" thing. It seems so far to only be using the buff on me most of the time which is alright, since it's less time wasted and on a party member that will be able to target weakspots well (since I'm on ranger).
>Japanese version of Coils of Light has actually decent vocalist and even manages to include the most important verse from the song in english.
Why is this not the default version again?
You don't have to use 3 pawns, no. Assassin class gets a bonus in damage for playing solo. Its up to you.
Do all the quests you missed, do the Gold Idol again for the other merchant. Thats about it.
When does the online Ur-Dragon respawn if you killed it?
I'm still mad that his quest line never got anywhere. Nobody knows who he is, what is he doing. Nothing. He just asks you to find out about Salvation, then acts all lawful-evil like, and that's it.
Pirate this, buy DaS3. All game quality shitflinging aside this game is far less affected by not being able to access the online than a game like DaS will be (depending on how you play, that is).
I prefer the english version honestly. Also the lyrics are thematically more appropriate.
For Christ's sake, has anyone been able to remove the magic effects and lantern glow around characters at night? Or the Nighttime sky banding?
It makes nighttime play fucking impossible, and dont even get me started on the witchwood.
Pic related is what my eyes look like after an hour of playing at nighttime.
I got up to the first minotaur in BBI and just stopped
fuck this shit is brutal. I have half a mind to go straight to NG+ and do BBI later but damn.
Moreover, even though pawn rentals were fixed my pawn's only been rented out once, that fucking sucks.
Maybe it's because she's a fighter.
What's the ideal inclinations for a mage pawn anyway?
Anybody else getting weird blocky shadows after installing resonant enb?
Does the Anon who created this Arisen have sliders?
Here's my pawn. It's a persistent character I've taken from game to game and intend to have as part of a mod I'll make for Fallout 4 once the G.E.C.K. comes out.
I have her trained to basically be mobile artillery. Set them on fire, disarm them, knock them off of shit, etc. She can go through places solo, even against an Ogre.
>"Mason is skilled in smooth, elegant conversation, a vital tool to get close to others without arousing any suspicion. To the casual observer, he appears to be an affable and cheerful man with an excellent disposition.
>However, this is simply an act he puts on in order to complete his mission, and not a reflection of his own true nature. Behind this façade, he is incredibly cold, calculating, and chillingly inhuman.
>His standards for judging good and evil also differ from those of most of humanity. All that matters to Mason is completing the tasks given to him, and he will do whatever is required in order to achieve this. He does not hesitate nor feel guilt for committing acts such as thievery, intimidation, or murder, which may be frowned upon by the world in general."
After Salvation shit is resolved, he moves into the Abbey. Honestly, what is "The Faith" in DD universe, even? It doesn't seem like a proper religion at all - these people are brainwashing others and even raise kids to be initiated into The Faith. And then there's Mason.
Was there a quest that got cut at some point?
>Finally get around to doing the Griffin quest
>Both my borrowed pawns get killed
when the Griffin destroys the floor before the final gate.
>Start fight on the roof top
Steffenjoins the fray
Instantly reminded I gave him a forgery
>My fucking face
>Thankfully I changed my vocation to assassin before taking on the quest and had the foresight to bring a load of blast arrows
>Watch it fall from the air, thunder and lightning blaring in the darkness while it's engulfed in flame
This fucking game.
I just brought the hydra head to the capital and I have a bunch of armor in the storage at the inn.
Is that DLC armor or something?
Do only scrubs use it?
Well in the parts of the country that matter, he's in grace period. Try resting maybe
AFAIK he's an agent of the Faith from the mainland, sent to investigate Salvation.
The Faith itself is pretty much a generic JRPG interpretation of the Catholic Chuch, except less evil than usual.
Anything that's vastly superior to your current armor. A few pieces of cosplay armor (nun, queen, etc), as well as some jewelry and headgear
Some of it can be recognized by being a set. As in a single piece of armor that fills both clothing and armor slots
It's all the stuff you don't remember acquiring and is worth 1k+, usually having blue glow around it. Feel free to use them, sell them, or simply discard them. They all look like shit except for the full sets and even then they're used so prolifically that you'll feel like a total piece of shit sell-out for using them. Sorry I don't have a list, I'm like 35 hours in, posted my pawn a second ago at >>129078295
The Princess or Queen or Duchess or whatever set gets RETARD STRONG with modification, which is why it's everywhere.
It doesn't break the game. It's better than what you get for like half of the game so it makes the early game a bit easier, but pretty much all endgame stuff is way better than it.
There's no real reason not to use the DLC stuff, apart from that some of it is ugly and overused (like that fucking dress). If you really want to play it "fair", just sell or discard the free gear and wait until you have enough dosh to legitimately buy it from Mountebank, which won't take that long anyway.
>there are multiple cutscenes in which you could've saved people, but the Arisen just stands there like a retard
Just killed him, anon. He was in grace for me.
rate muh amazonian elf armorfu
More disfunctional means more fun right?
>Hear Urdy is in grace
>Never did him before in deadbox
>Expect to still have an epic fight
>1 shot the hearts
Never realised grace made him a 1 shot pretty much, kinda dissapointed that that was my 1st time meeting him.
>Go grab loot
>2 warrior weapons, an MK shield and sorc staff
>Playing double strider
Well, I suppose I'm about to go warrior for 10 levels for the gains, so not all bad
>go to ur-dragon arena
>it's spazzing out on the ground and exploding
>shoot a couple of arrows on one of the glowing spots
>equipment gets dragonforged
>20 wakestones, a mask, abyssal armor
pieces and a couple of weapons spawn at the entrance
To the owner of Satiah, sent her back with a lv.2 weapon, it wasn't anything that I wanted, hope you get better use out of it.
Now just teach her to give me the correct element in fights and i'll be all smiles.
I just did that for the first time like an hour ago, I kept waiting for my dude to jump in and help but he just stands and fucking stares while spooky emperor man anime laughs and walks away.
I chose to assume that the shitty purple cirlce is supposed to represent some powerful barrier but they just used a crappy effect for it. Doesn't explain why you don't try hitting it though.
>Also the lyrics are thematically more appropriate.
Both Japanese and English lyrics are the same. It's just that they're in different languages, but the context is the same. The english verse with "Oh, how I have seen the Dragon's Dogma!" at the end of JP version is a liberal translation of the original's 4th verse with "Sa susume yamu koto naku / Ryu ga michibiku hikari e to"
Are you high?
Everyones so fussed about the Into Free music replacement mod. It was only great on PS3 cause you heard half the fucking song because load times, now on PC I barely hear 10 seconds in the title screen.
I actually never even
beat Savan on deadbox.
I was loving the game and got to post game, but then just stopped for no raisin.
I knew about Urdy and how he works online, though I wasn't expecting a kill to be that easy.
I wish I'd gone and fought him before grace now for my 1st encounter, but I only just hit postgame last night on PC. Did a couple of chambers before sleep, wake up today and hes in grace.
Same thing happened to me and a few others that have posted. I even had successful rentals before and after that occurrence,. Maybe people just giving out rocks with default ratings or somehow rocks getting sent back when your pawn dies?
You have and now you are forever branded
Enjoy your endless supply of rock
Just kidding, this can happen if there was some sort of issue when trying to send the data over, connection error or something similar
So what curatives do you guys carry around?
I'm currently trying to keep ~10 spring water on me when I go into battle, but what's the optimal weight:healing, weight:stamina curatives for big fights and long adventures??
When managing mage/sorc skills, do the things put into the primary section have more damage than if they were put into secondary? There seems to be two different magick ratings on the left during skill setting and I don't wanna fuck it and put my pawns nukes on the lower powered section.
Why not both? Also pls rate
the other crazy thing you can do is run 3 sorcs with miasma and fulmination + mystic knight
all of that shit will proc GC continuously and the damage effects will be added to GC
Well, Gen 5 confirmed. Grace over.
Wasn't sure what class I'd use in BBI and was rolling based on Urdy weapon.
Got a Dwells-In-Light, so time to be a badass Warrior.
Started a new game about a year ago, abandoned it early on but couldn't remember why. Got real jazzed about the game again because of pc release and started a new game yesterday.
"oh I'll just do one more story mission before I do Lost and found" finish the mission and failed Lost and Found. And that's when I remembered why I abandoned the game last time. It's my only gripe with this game, failing and missing out on shit because youve done shit that has absolutely no effect on the former shit.
>finally got an Urdy kill of my own, several years later
>tfw all that neato loot
Does anyone wanna trade masks? I wanna trade the white one for a black one.
Quadcast Seism puts the most severe IRL earthquakes to shame. Quadcast Maelstrom is like summoning a category 5 hurricane. Quadcast Gicel is pretty much a localized ice-age.
Also have some damage on me gents. Urdy fucked up and kept spamming Holy Furor my way.
>Also I'm still stuck on Embla. Looked over my "friends" list to share the love, and Embla was literally the only Mage I saw. Might have to put Dowlark as a Mage temporarily to hire a Sorc.
Whatever I found along the way and maybe a healbot pawn
I find the best way to stay healthy is to not get hit.
Haven't seen any I like, might go for that crusader look people have been posting when I find armor for it.
Yeah, I'm pretty bad at character creators and I didn't feel like copying somebody else's characters. At least it's not a loli.
>Decide I'm good with everything and need to move on to NG+.
>I'll just do it real quick before bed.
i'm looking for black too
i got gold
>And this is what GMC spam off of a Blessed Riposite in a Holy Furor looks like
>My hands still tingle because I forgot to turn off controller vibrate
A'ight, enough pic spam.
>archer bandit out of reach on a ledge
>hired ranger pawn runs around daggers in hand while mage stands around maintaining intense focus on breathing
holy fuck this is infuriating
>Clear out a Saurian nest
Is that a motherfucking Saurian King or some shit? This is gonna be a good fight
>It died in one sixfold bolt
Disappointing is an understatement.
Potent Greenwich and 'Shrooms for myself, then I usually load up the designated Support Mage with ~30 Spring Waters to use as needed plus 5 for myself if I need to handle healing personally.
Oh, and 5 Wakestones in case I do something retarded. Could probably drop that to two or three to be honest.
Is there a way for Warrior pawns to actually efficiently charge their skills? They've been doing nothing but whiff strikes when they're better off just doing an auto attack..
>tfw never seen the pawn rental screen
It's because it's a guy isn't it. You all just want to hire chicks.
This dragon is the worst, first he pairs me with Julien, now he does it with fucking fournival what the fuck
What are the best inclinations, in order, for a Ranger pawn?
I want to make the best pawn possible.
Am I missing some kind of indicator that a quest is too high level for me? Spent 30 mins running down to one indicator on the grimoire quest in the capital, nothing there, spent another 45 mins running to the other one to get instantly 1 shot by an arrow from a bandit.
Honestly the travel in this game is so fucking tedious and really pulls away from the amazing combat and decent pawn/class mechanics
the importance of selene's witchwood area is exaggerated
the only useful thing it does long term is provide you with a good place to find golems to fight
but pawns are total fucking retards when it comes to golems no matter how much you train them
honestly just don't even worry about it. every time i unlock that area i find myself asking why i bother since i wont ever visit it again
played about 4 hours of the pirated version
just wanted to say this game is fucking amazing
It was just adventures and stuff, you living your life. Then you get to your destination.
I've never had jpegs hurt me this much. Watching my pawn call after me as we fell and afterwards. I'm just gonna go to bed anon, you take care of yourself.
Found something interesting in f_a_body7100.arc
I think so too. My Fighter sometimes Warrior pawn is just a more or less generic but handsome and muscled lad but the only time I've been hired was by the friend I recommended the game.
He gifted me a rotten fish
I wouldn't go so far as to change gender or something to please to loli or amazonfags though.
>Coils of Light kicks in as soon as fight starts
That was hype as fuck. The contrast between fighting a massive hulking fuck-demon and this song was great. Can't wait to fight his giganigga final form.
>Gouge dragon's heart out with a melon spoon.
>"Damn son I just saved the shit out of that world"
>Sky turns dark.
>Ground swallows half of the population.
>Duke drinks from the wrong cup.
>Chimeras are crawling up the beaches.
>Drakes falling from the sky.
>Zombies and fire-breathing dogs living together.
Does the true Dark Arisen starts here?
