>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

Still can't decide, which are the best eyebrows for Chocolator?
Alright /vg/, I need help. I'm playing as a magick archer on PC (played as warrior on PS3) and I feel like I'm doing jack shit for damage
Currently level 47 and going through the second wing of BBI and everything is basically immune to most of my attacks
Should I level up or am I playing wrong?
I restarted, probably for the last time (that makes three).
Now that pawn stuff isn't broken, I figure why not?
Besides, I missed a few quests I heard good things about.
What's a simplistic balanced MK Build that doesn't involve min-maxing to fuck knows what level?
I just want to say I LOVE YOU MAN! Every item successfully transferred.
anyone know why the drake in bluemoon won't respawn for me?
also, rents finally came through
>single rent with 500 rc
>3 stars across the board and no gift
just kill me
>Hey, Fighters. What do you do to handle armoured enemies (i.e, cyclopes) before you get Dragon's Maw?
I just whack his legs ineffectually for about 30 seconds until the armor falls off
switch to sorceror at level 10
play sorceror until you hit rank 9
switch to mystic knight
the sorc will give you a ton of MATK and sells two rank 9 augments that greatly increase your MK's power (+20% matk and -15% cast time)
>Not letting Christian-Chan rub his beard on your pawn for massive Rift Bux
>spending two hours visiting all the griffin sites while passing in-game days at the inn
>they finally spawn
>they don't land
>look in another area
>cockatrice keeps spawning instead
I can finish two quests with one griffin, what the fuck do you want from me game?
Is there any way to play the pirated version online or do I have to buy it again at full price to play online?
Worst mistake ever buying it on 360 a couple years ago for 30 bucks. Played it for a few minutes and couldn't bring myself to lay throught he framerate.
Could I get some help with this please
It takes 3 weeks for it to respawn.
Do I fuck Mercedes or Slut Duchess?
I have a thing for brown girls and also NTR.
This fucking game man
>Start playing yesterday
>Can't fight anything for shit, too weak to handle more than a few bandits at a time
>Ogre fights take more than ten minutes EACH, and that's not counting the multiple times I died
>Explore while doing escort quests and killing shit along the way
>Slapping Cyclops and Chimera shit everywhere
>Strong enough to fuck Ogres before they fuck me
>Hammer time all day erryday
The movement system is just so much fun and accidentally comboing with my pawns is awesome.
I remember someone saying something about there being a halfway point to the game, and I just reached a quest where I have to meet with the duke. I'm assuming this is that point?
Do pawns have stamina bars that deplete or do they have infinite stamina?
I just read on the Ur-Dragon page to "monitor my pawn's stamina", which left me wondering how people do it since there's no stamina bar for pawns in the Pause Menu
>tfw I DID IT
I never beat Daimon on console
Anyone else having a bug with portcrystals where you can't teleport to the ones you place? I lost my portcrystal at greatwall and the ones I placed at hillfigure knoll and the side entrance to witchwood can't be teleported to, and I'm afraid of placing more in case it renders my bluemoon crystal unusable.
Remember to pack at least three Skeleton Keys for your BBI adventures. The treasure chests in the locked cells almost always have something good in them, and there's a treasure chest with a 4th key around behind the first set of cells.
How tanky are warriors actually?
Is BBI frustrating because Warriors get wrecked, or is it frustrating because fights are just tedious since everything flies?
Half the fun of being big-huge is taking hits, I don't want to play a warrior if they stop being able to take hits later into the game :(
I'm regretting rolling assassin.
>Invisibility is invincibility
>Gale Harness takes too long to apply
>Hundred kisses is mandatory because it deals a shit ton of damage, but is as fun to use as mashing the light attack button
>Instant Reset is mostly mandatory
>Masterful Kill is pretty cool but isn't worth using against bosses
Is Mystic Knight any better?
when the server kills it there will be an hour long "grace period" where you can zone in and it will spawn with super low health. you have to kill it during this time to collect the reward
people who deal it a lot of damage can collect rewards, but they're not as good as the grace period
>I remember someone saying something about there being a halfway point to the game, and I just reached a quest where I have to meet with the duke. I'm assuming this is that point?
Nope. The halfway point is (legit spoiler)
the final battle with Grigori, the Dragon.
Credit card it is, I suppose. That or wait another week for the paycheck. I assume the online pawn system is like, half the game, because paying assoloads for these terrible pawns is just terrible.
Likewise in total they got me for 60 bucks if I buy it on steam...so good for them!
Also what do you mean part 2?
Mystic Knights are grotesquely broken and can be boring if you're playing them "optimally".
>Put magic on sword
>Put satan magic on sword also
>Put down Great Cannon
>Great Compass Cannon Slash
i think MK is a lot more fun than assassin, but it's still a class that self-buffs, so if you're sick of self-buffing you should try something else
strider is like an assassin that has cool skills instead of self buffs. or ranger for a chance of pace. also you might try sword assassin, which has less self buffing
newshit here. i read that rook does not level up with you pastl evel 10 or something? are you supossed to get rid of him and hire another player's pawn at that point? or is there a way to get another one of your "own" pawns to replace him? sorry if this was answered, i skimmed the pastebins but its a lot of information
>She's not a sloot
She literally hits max affinity in your first conversation.
She's a slut.
Oh so then do I not need to worry about not being able to do the quests if I take the Duke's quest?
It's just a bunch of fetch quest shit (find 10 Big fish, kill 45 rabbits, etc)
Here's her like 15 levels ago or something.
Alright I have the 20 wakestones, the lady told me 'no going back after, are you sure'.
Since I went randomly into the everfall, I know for sure I didnt go to every room, I believe there is 16 ?
And plenty of gates where closed everywhere.
wat do ?
I understand this is the main quest, so in short I can keep farming, in the hope of getting the incredibly rare everfall gear ?
I havent got anything yet, only a lousy longbow, and rusted daggers.
reposting, need to do some advertising for him to get good:
If you need a healing/buffing Mage Pawn.I've got one on level 39 called Alatar, number 100 on the sheet.
He's trained to use focused bolt, no magick agent or any other damage spell. got low tier healing spell for faster casting. If you want any of his skills changed just tell me, though only low tiers because I want him to keep the fast casting speed.
Current theory is that skill usage such as focused bolt frequency is based on enem star knowledge.
pls add him, i need more stars so he buffs the right stuff
Guys I think I have a crush on this luxury automobile
What should I do?
everfall gear is completely superseded by BBI gear, which is also a much more fun and extensive endgame dungeon
you should really not farm everfall unless you want a specific item for fashion reasons
Anyone wanna hire a Primarch?
I'm gonna go fighter 10, assassin 190.
I'll have 900+ strength, which is about half of what the best weapon can give, so I'll hit like a fucking monster, but I'll be squishy as hell.
How fucked am I?
God DAMN it Blue get back here! We can't take that thing on yet.
Anyone else wants to give opinions?
found a dragon
i don't think i can kill it
does it randomly appear in places or is it there to keep you out of the next area
>pawn hires: 1
T-they're clearly just using her still, r-right?
maybe making her a strider was a mistake ;_;
>fighting the infamous metal golem for the first time
>notice all those gem things
>destroy them one by one solo, while my pawns suck the golem's dick
>it takes forever to destroy one even with Almace+ice buff+AA
>the last one is high in the air, cant reach it with GC
>my recently turned strider pawn shots a fracture dart at it, destroys it instantly
>go to replace healslut mage with a higher level one
>every mage at the proper level either has shit inclinations like guardian, nexus or acquisitor or is a loli
>finally just say fuck it and keep the current pawn that's 10 levels lower than me
If I ever release this pawn and Capcom's shit is actually fixed this guy is going to get a fortune of RC
Once you hit post-game you'll get the quest a warm welcome. After visiting the duke there are endless waves of guards that swarm you whenever you approach the castle. I got fighter to rank 5 in a few minutes with the ring of perseverance.
>Pick up Feste and try to run away with him
>"OI STOP HIM"
>Thrown in jail
>Break out and sprint straight ot the throne room
>Kick Feste in the face
>In jail again
Julien was the guy that meets the blonde woman right? Already did that and I don't give a fuck about Valmiro.
I love that pawns act the way you do
>Go into places and bust shit up looking for loot
>Pawns later on are going into people's houses and destroying their shit
>Even in small homes and camps
>"Ohh, I wonder what's in here"
Am I the only one who is have problems with their game's FPS? My game keeps stuttering slightly, and I don't even have any mods. I can run Witcher 3 on high-ultra settings at 60 fps, but I can't run this game on the highest settings and get decent framerate.
crywhen your Arisen ends the cycle? Hearing my best pawn waifu ever cry out just wrecked me. Also, the GOAT soundtrack. When the game ended I sort of just stared blankly at the screen.
WHY CANT WE ROMANCE PAWNS FUCK
>Go back to Cassardis for the first time in a while
>See that little shit running up and down the beach
>Pick him up when he's on the south end
>Throw him to the Brine
finish escort quests if you want.
do madeleine quests
choose your waifu and max out affinity,
or just choose fournival as your waifu and have him at your house post game, leaving you the trouble of having to rely on luck to find him
What are the good inclinations for a fighter pawn?
My pawn was ranked 54k a few hours earlier, had no hire notifications.
Rested at the inn, got a message regarding 7 hires in total.
Check the ranking again, 442.
'tis aught aint relevant master
going to sleep though
Feel free to use mine, soon it'll be a pawn that focuses on climbing bosses and shitting on everything else.
didnt post pic
no do i need to get it approved?
has anyone else messed with FOV settings? what do you find to be a good number?
>do an arc of deliverance to his face
>i'm not guts lvl strong like that one guy in the webm
>it just does half of the gryphon's hp and immediately triggers him to fly away
>make a character
>it looks like someone you knew in high school
>you only realize once you are in game in a while.
I just hit Gran Soren and it hit my like a ton of bricks looking back at my screenshots.
It it natural to feel like a creeper?
>AoD is moments form smacking the griffin
>flies away the millisecond before it hits him
Never had my boner die so hard before
>so much to do in terms of vocations
>can't pick just one, don't know what kind of character I want to build
Are the Quina quests worthwhile?
Okay good. The fight took 20 minutes but I did basically 0 damage to it even when hitting the heart with fire/holy enchantment. All the damage came from my sorcerer pawn casting high seism and high bolide. Probably would have been done in less than half the time if the fucker wasn't so stupid.
>Fighting the archydra for the first time
>This playing in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMRnGoE8oOE
>My face through the whole battle.
>Fighting Golem before Bluemoon Tower
>He begins to get up
>It finishes charging
>Destroys three gems immediately and sends him back onto the ground in slowmo
When is a good time to do the DA content?
>griffin flies away with a sliver of health
>begin to spam panic arrows
>griffin dies where it takes arrows four seconds to connect
>clearing out the ogres in the quarry
>each fight taking 5-10 mins easily
>slither of health left
>get on his back
>he jumps on his back
>can't get out in time
>have to do all 3 again
That'll teach me not to save often.
This ENB is good. The AO is subtle and the DOF works for gameplay. It doesn't fuck with the game's art style at all.
>tfw shit FPS though
Any suggestions on my fighter pawn's skills?
Sword: blitz strike, broad slash, heavensward lash
Shield: shield drum, shield storm, cymbal onslaught
Should I give the gold idol to caxton or madeleine?
>Accept quest to escort this fat fuck's little daughter around the city
>She falls down
>Bump into her
>Guard throws me in jail and then the game saves immediately
>Get out of jail
>Cant re-do it
EPIC!!!!! Wow, such a difficult and unforgiving game!
Who's Duke Edmun's pawn? Does he even have a pawn?
Was the duke's pawn also his beloved and he sacrificed it to Grigori? Does he disallow pawns in the castle because it brings back bad memories of his failure as Arisen?
Imo yes, mainly because in the second quest you get a Blessed Flower which gives you Weal which increases XP/DCP/RCP for one in-game day, presuming you've the money to forge copies.
Speak for yourself.
Playing sorc here, just spam the lightning spell over and over on it's face, it just gets stunlocked every time it gets hit an often falls, cant even get a single hit in on me or the pawns. Takes about 2 minutes to down an Ogre.
I may have it easy for those... But man bandits fuck my shit up.
It's pretty much exclusively a distance blur. Less shimmering and more atmosphere.
Also just added him to the pawn sheet.
He's pretty good.
My pawn was a mage until level 50, when I decided to make her Strider.
She was doing good really, some hires, a few good comments.
I just wanted more deeps and figured I could get by without a mage by buying curatives and sharing them with the pawns.
Started the everfall, had some problems at first, then adapted and it went smoother.
Then, I tried with a hired Mage, all the skills / affinites I wanted, Guardian / Scather.
And from there it went 10x smoother.
Almost never had to spend half the time in the inventory to check which curative to take against debilitations x / y / z, that was giving me headaches.
Me and my pawns almost at full health all the time.
And still good damage.
Honestly I'm starting to believe that most of the 'facts' spread around arent really true, and that it depends a lot on situations.
For example a guardian / nexus pawn may definitely be useless in the regular game when fighting goblins, none of the enemies are actually dangerous except the drake in the forest.
When things get tougher and require some strategy and preparation before the battle, then it goes differently.
Its the first time I used a guardian mage, mine was scather / challenger, I used her until level 50 and it went fine.
But the one I just hired was definitely better, and only because of inclinations, since she had the same spells / augments as mine, aka all the good ones.
Now I havent played much with this new hired mage, but I could already feel a difference.
Was the duke's pawn also his beloved and he sacrificed it to Grigori? Does he disallow pawns in the castle because it brings back bad memories of his failure as Arisen?
Yes and Yes
the pawns would be able to tell what he did.
It's the guy on top of the hill after they try to roll your ass with boulders. At least that's who wrecked my shit the first time. I think it's the board and sword one. Bandit archers are also annoying af.
Godsure feels empty.
>He didn't do Aelinore romance quest
ENB drops my fps by like 20-30. Or rather, HDR at high setting drops it by 10 and the rest is ENB. I can't even keep ENB on just to disable the vignette if I want 60fps, kind of sucks.
Old habits etc
The reason why people are so against using nexus/guardian pawns is because those two inclinations often make pawns sit around and do nothing or cancel spells/attacks during critical situations.
Besides, none of them compare to having a pawn with utilitarian. It, and several other augments, are infinitely more useful.
I'm pretty sure B'Etor's actress was a VA for this game
I just hired a pawn that sounds exactly like her
this is horrifying and hilarious at the same time
that's the guy?
As soon as I got out of the way of boulder I sprinted up hill, blink striked him into the ground and just wailed on him.
I had more trouble with the group of like 8 bandits a little further ahead
Except I was expecting some actual basis you fuck, that's like saying Dragon's Dogma is in the same universe as Skyrim because both have dragons
Now if you told me that the pawns specifically have a line mentioning that the Duke's main pawn must be somewhere but you never meet them for some reason, that might be something. And they do
Fire is usually better. Holy surpasses it when everything starts having fire resistance in the post-game and especially in BBI. Holy is the single all-around enchantment with no drawbacks but it's not as useful as fire earlier because almost every enemy is weak to fire and they get ignited, with the drawback being that a few enemies take less damage from fire while holy will give a smaller damage boost to almost every enemy but no larger boost like fire.
If you want a mage pawn then you should have one affinity (fire or holy), high halidom, some form of anodyne, two good damaging spells like high frigor and maybe High Brontide or Comestion. Then the last spell should either be damaging or support depending on your inclination. If Utilitarian then Spellscreen may be worth equipping, but don't upgrade it to high spellscreen. If a more offensive inclination is primary, then something like high ingle if your party doesn't have much ranged so they can take down harpies and stuff.
>getting to level 200 without even knowing how to access their storage
they should update when you rest an at inn to whatever they currently are on the pawn server so if their owner has leveled them up and rested between you hiring them and you resting they will
>wanted to go mage/sorc
>on the trail to witchwood
>pack of wolves charge me
>"oh fuck" try to turn and sprint
>They all jump me mid sprint, instantly down me
So, are the wolves like super high or something, or does everything do this to squishier vocations in this game? I handled the fucking newts or whatever in the well decent enough by freezing them, but these fuckers were instant death.
just what are these shining rocks? it looks like i can interact with them, but cant seem to figure out how. i have a pickaxe and tried mining them, tried striking them but nothing seems to affect these rocks
>accidentally drop the enternal ferrystone
>go to the black cat
>I'm 5 hours into the game
yes anon you're clearly talking to a samefag.
you can grab them, that's it
>One save per steam account
Man this is so shit. I was really hoping they would change this for PC given that it has DRM and IDEALLY most people aren't going to make extra steam accounts for family sharing like they do with extra psn/xbox accounts. They're lucky steam family sharing exists. Hate having to manage multiple accounts though.
My pawn isn't getting rents and doesn't even show up for my friends.
Online is on, access is anyone.
Does this game support steam sharing so I can just make a new account?
Can we discuss some lore? Did you guys enjoy it, or was there more to be desired?
I think the Saurians are pretty neat. They can use tools which makes them smarter than every animal we have in real life. I bet in Dragons Dogma: Back 2 the Future, we'll see a Saurian empire with evolved lizard people.
Also, I wish the game did a better way of allowing us to see a NPC's history. Most of the things I know are from the DD wiki. Like pretty much all the waifu candidates become much more likable after reading their history. Mercedes is the daughter that is never loved and sent to war as a prop, Madeline is the orphan raised by nuns who promised to never be poor again, Aelinore is the princess who didn't want to get married, and Quina is the gentle soul who constantly got bullied and went out to learn magic to help the one kid that saved her from bullies, you.
Would you recommend it for any vocation ?
I have a scather / challenger Strider, which seemed pretty good inclinations to me, but I also wanted to buy some potions to make her utilitarian / scather, I'm not sure though.
I just spoke with the duke for the first time.
If I do griffins bane and then wait to do the other then i can still do all other side quests in this stage, right?
Or can I not do any mainquest at all.
>have gotten two results for getting pawn hired
reminder that the arisen didn't end shit, savan pulled godsbane out of his own chest to give it to you
you can likely only be truly killed by godsbane when another arisen accepts to be seneschal
Is Mystic Knight worthwhile if I don't want to use shields? Should I just go Warrior?
Just added my Pawn to the Doc, not sure if I did it right because I added it. I used the Master Filter but it doesn't show up in the doc? Sorry I'm a dummy.
Anyways here's my pawn, please use.
>try to do this
>pawn instantly jumps down
Anyone mind tossing me a copy of the Second Key to Salvation? Messed up the quest bit to nab it since I forgot to bring robes, I figure I could toss something in return if need be. Thanks in advance.
>Planning to teach my warrior pawn to use ladderblade
>Automatically did it on Drakes/Griffons with no tranining from me
>Won't boost me up on cyclopes
Better than nothing I guess
What would you like to see in a DD sequel? They could either expand upon the everfall, parallel universes and the arisen, or they could make an entirely new world along with a new earth-shattering revelation.
Strider pawn build
Whats better? The other stats barely change, so it seems like focusing on hitpoint/stamina ratio is the only thing to consider
>Stage 4 refers to the segment of the game that takes place from the completion of Come to Court, up to the completion of both Griffin's Bane and Trials and Tribulations.
so I have to complete both, or is the wiki wrong there?
Can you change your character's physical build in game anywhere? I tried to make my character look muscular but he looks like a fatass in all the cut scenes. Maybe even just change the face
If the guys who made the AutoHotKey script that binds J, C and M to quests, equipment and map is here, I installed it but pressing any of the keys (J,C or M) just cycles through the stuff.
For example, I'll press either J,C or M and it'll bring me to inventory, Second press brings up map and third brings up equipment.
They're still great, still THE bow-based powerhouse.
Nothing comes close to matching the raw single-hit power of Just-released Reaper's Arrow except for Great Gamble, which costs ALL of your stamina. Tenfold Flurry's killing power is still amazingly high without Blast Arrows, and Corkscrew Arrow is fantastic for applying ailments because it hits so many times. Very, very efficient.
The other Longbow skills have their uses too, but they're not quite as widely usable as Tenfold, Reaper's and Corkscrew.
>getting 4 and 5 star appearance ratings all day
>suddenly a 1 star for appearance but 5 stars for battle and helpfulness
Hire my fighter pawn it is level 30ish right now and it did great fighting the ogres or just hire any well build female fighter pawn and let it fight the ogre while you join up to do some dmg and than back up.
You don't even have to join in the fight just have a healer+second dmg dealing pawn on the side and watch the show.
I think it should take place in another country, like Mercedes, Aelinore, or Julian's homeland. Maybe have Gransys get completely wiped off the map by some volcano shit that got opened because of the Everfall.
Would allow us to see some new monsters. Or even some actual sea monsters because I'd like to see a boat arc in the next game where we travel to the remnants of Gransy.
Thinking of making a sorcerer, maxing out mage vocation then going into sorcerer for the rest of the game is fine right? Would I be able to switch into MA if I felt like it as well? also what type of pawn would compliment it? I know of duel casting just not sure if it's any good.
Also for a future playthrough, how well would a basic sword and board fighter do in terms of end game and BBI?
Lets be honest. The lore was pretty lame. If it can't be properly presented in the game then the lore was crap. There was no substance. And pawns still aren't really explained.
>I stream on twitch, come watch me play!
>can't buy own games to do it
Jesus fuck I just wanted to see how much a fag you were but you defied all expectations
Fucking kill yourself
I did buy all my games until I became unemployed recently. Come watch come play not come watch me play i'm not that conceded. I'm sure you are no one to judge with your pedabytes of anime reaction images.
I'd advise you spend at least a little bit of time as a strider and a fighter, otherwise you'll have a ton of magic attack and defense sure, but you'll be really squishy otherwise
Is it possible to train a Strider while using an Assassin? I have another pretty good strider pawn in the party and have the same weapons with a few similar skills. Obviously im gonna miss out on really drilling in Skull Splitter but this is only temporary while im leveling other shit for stats.
Quick tip for people playing Warrior or having a Warrior pawn, you can get Gryphic Victory, a greatsword with the highest attack until post game very early on by during the escort quest for Ser Berne called A Parting Tribute. The quest should appear in the Gran Soren inn quest board but if it hasn't, go and raise Ser Berne's affinity by giving him shit, (He's the guard that tests you at the Encampment, ENOUGH.wav )
Currently my pawn's best gear are fuck me boots, a corset, an open robe, and a party hat.
Which ironically all comes together as a working outfit...it's just that outfit happens to be that of a stripper
nevermind, found it
I was looking on the wrong side of the lake
That's what I figured. People wanting healers and nukers just stack mages on their team.
I only have seven but literally all of those happened today so i guess we don't get credit for the prior hires.
>delicious brown archer
Y-yeah. Looks like it.
Start off as a Fighter, then switch to Sorcerer ASAP. Spend some time as a Ranger for Stamina, but otherwise Sorc all the way.
>I just beat the first stratum of three
Dude there's a whole two fucking stratums left after the first one, and the dungeon resets and increases in difficulty after you beat the final boss. GET BACK IN THERE AND CRAWL THROUGH THAT DUNGEON!
you have yet to encounter your greatest adversary
Sooo uhhhh, how do I kill this guy? my hired pawns somehow despawned midfight
shooting his mouth while he shoots his laser does 0 damage according to the history log
>pawn is finally getting hired
>all that rc
>5 star ratings
im so happy
no, there's already plenty of Adolfs floating around
questions for skills rings.
When I have an Ice Pact for example but only ice boon, does it boost it to the same level as if I had ice affinity with ice pact? meaning I save the cast time of ice affinity?
>Tfw DD finally lets me make buff waifus
Why does no other game allow this
>tfw you try to make a different pawn on PC, but you still lean towards the same dark-skinned amazon archetype
I just can't help it.
Alright which one of you did this
>wanted mercedes as my waifu
>mfw I ended up with jewtits
Should I just let the Dragon have that slut?
What the fuck is going on? Alon will not update his wares, I just want Thousandlimbs and shit. Did all of his good wares go somewhere else in DA?
Dont blame yourself anon, brown girls are perfect after all
Here's the comparison.
But they're not.
They just have no ambitions. In every other way they are human, emotions, fears and everything.
Regarding Ur Dragon
1. Are you supposed to keep the mind controlled pawns alive?
2. Does he take any damage at all from hitting the body instead of the heart?
3. What are you supposed to do when he roosts? There doesn't seem to be any ballista or anything.
4. How do you get loot from him when he dies? Will there be a message when rest at an inn or something along those lines?
You did good dorf, you did good.
>nobody has hired my mage/sorc pawn
>decent enough gear considering level
>not a loli or wearing that dumb dress
>have max affinity with Fournival and Symone
Welp. At least I get periapts.
R8 my pawn.
>inb4 DLC costume
She's a nun and my arisen is a paladin.
Dire Gouge is the opposite of stylish. It's brutal and vulgur but god DAMN is it effective. If you want stylish, you use Clairvoyance, Blitz Strike and Full Moon Slash or Great Windmill. I personally use Clairvoyance, Great Windmill and Powder Barrage for maximum flare when I go sword/bow Assassin. Dire Gouge is pretty much just Sword assassin's answer to Thousand Kisses while climbing. It's nothing special aside from the massive damage it deals.
>Are you supposed to keep the mind controlled pawns alive?
No, you're supposed to keep enough items that remove mind control in their inventories.
>Does he take any damage at all from hitting the body instead of the heart?
Even if he does, the amount of damage it takes is so meager that it may not exist at all.
>What are you supposed to do when he roosts? There doesn't seem to be any ballista or anything.
You're supposed to not let him do that, he's just wasting your time.
>How do you get loot from him when he dies? Will there be a message when rest at an inn or something along those lines?
Just make sure to check up on him regularly, eventually you'll find loot. That, or you'll find Ur in grace period mode, meaning that you can kill him on your own now.
Have you even beaten the game yet?
Even god himself says pawns are nothing more than empty vessels shaped into the form of man made to follow the arisen
They'd gladly kill themselves if I told them too.
They lack emotion and a will of their own, The only thing human about them is their form.
pawn is the strider on the far left
So I didn't realize that I should have given someone my arisen's bond before doing Deny Savlation so now I'm sitting here with the bond in my inventory and The Final Battle in my quest log. I figured it's probably too late to influence who the dragon has taken (and I genuinely have no idea who that even is, didn't notice anyone gone missing) but can I still change who will end up moving into my house? If so, should I give away the ring now or after finishing The FInal Battle?

Just... just please, stand there. It's attacking me, not you.
Why are you doing this to me
You are not even a Guardian
I beg you
You can get Thousand Limbs from a chest in the Quarry, just clear out all the monsters and then an npc will open up a shop there, but that don't matter cause Thousand Limbs is in a chest in that room.
