I was just trying the spiral arrow skill because I remember it being possible to juggle random pawns with it in the encampment. I did 3 hits with it on mid air pawns. Now they don't fly high enough to hit them even 1 time in the air. I figured it must be a weapon related issue but I just CE'd in the best ranger bow and nothing.

Also, do you know how I can only remove my core skills with the savegame editor? When I did it it actually deleted all his mage skills as well and I fear that it might have even fucked up more thatn I could see.

Is it a good idea to completely abandon magical classes for my pawn if I want her as a ranger in the end?

She started as strider and now I'll only let her switch between ranger and warrior for the best physical stats since she won't need magick anyway.
My only concern is the lack of magic defense, but equipment should be able to cover that up.

Good augments for a support mage pawn? Not looking to be a damage dealer so I'm skipping on +magick ones. Also skipping on +magick defense because pawns seem to die anyway regardless. I suppose articulacy is a must, maybe beatitude and perpetuation. Inflection is bugged and does the opposite of what it should do. Is stability good for mages for slightly less interruptions? What about secret augments like tenacity?

It's that it's not important what primary/secondary is,but its value is. That primary and secondary thing is just a visual thing so people know what they can expect from this guy.Maybe it works like this:
The higher ones inclinations value is, the more likle he is to acto on that. Meaning if every value is the same, then he should do everything once in a while. Or if they are all pretty close to each other. Then something could be primary because it's 1 point higher than others, but that doenst mean much in the end.

I think I could test that by setting everything to 0, and see what he does.
Or just setting Gatherer to 0 and then see if he ever loots again out of combat.

This theory also allows for every pawn to be quite unique, cause everytime combat happens pawns calculated again what they will do now.

Ah that one. Okay well my impression is that skill_use value is some kind of value that decides the chance a pawn will use his learned tactics. So if it's at 999 it will always use it's learned tactics, and if it's at 0 it uses the base AI.
If this is the case 400 seems like a safe number for capcom to pick that won't make pawns do extremely stupid shit if the AI fucks up. Only 40% of the time.

Like I told you with the stone throwing story, I think that also applies to your story with the focused bolt, but combined with that skill_use value.

The conclusion I can make from this is that there is some kind of priority list that decides which of the available tactics a pawn has learned it will use. It would be cool if it was more varied, but it seems very onsided now.

wiki seemed to indicate (somewhere, I forget where) that these are just priority queues: if an action is available for this inclination, then it is done. So even with tier ten acquisitor if it can't resolve anything else, it will pick up the magic medal or whatever.

Outside of battle I don't think anything applies, a pawn will pick shit up from a chest after standing around for a while no matter what.
