>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

I skipped this a while ago. If I go back, will he show up again?
It is a look of disgust. My wife is right behind you. Get out of my house. This fucking sucks.
Well the best bet is to use ENB(toggles HUD) which I do now that it's not shit. I was just thinking it would be a nice mod to make if it were possible.
Venture forth, Arisen! Only weakly goblins here!
I've been working on this like an autist over the last few days, here it is. Enjoy, /ddg/.
DualShock 3 buttons
Can I use spears in this game? What class should I play if I want to use spears? Are there big spears and smalls spears? Are the animations poke poke or wierd flippy shit? Are there spears like in dark souls?
>get to level 14
>change vocation to warrior from fighter
>no idea what I'm doing
>buy new weapons after vocation shift
>learn new warrior skills
>apparently the ones I bought was for two handed sword and not hammer
>set greatsword skills
>cannot perform any of them for some reason despite them being set to primary and not anything else
>stuck with basic attacks
How do I fix this?
Please help, I don't want to change vocations again because my skills are not working, I don't have enough money to buy new weapons for another vocation.
>plan on switching to Magick Archer for new game plus
>find out all the shit you're wearing gets dragonforged and you get a FREE weapon
>tfw I don't want to waste it all
Should I feel bad? Or should I just make the switch?
YOU'RE GOING DOWN YOU OVERWEIGHTED FAGGOT LIZARD
But that's not allowed
If I want to end up as a well rounded character who can roll magic or physical, should I just go for 100 ish levels in physical classes (assassin warrior etc) and 100 ish levels in magic classes?
Will I need to min max more specifically?
>escort mission with selene
>suddenly bandit horde
>seriously like 20 bandits at least 10 are rangers
>all target selene
>dies instantly as a pincushion
>a couple hours and 6 levels ago
what the fuck
that's enough of that
H-how did I end up riding Grigori...?
You and me both.
I think the main difference between ours is that I was autistically devoted to making the appearance as close to that of the actual PS3 UI as possible, while yours actually looks to be of quality art and whatnot.
What hairstyle does Johnny Depp have? I see him having a different one in every photo. Which one of these o you think would fit him better?
Bob Ross here just Arc of Deliveranced a Griffin to the ground, saving my bacon by dealing two bars lethal. Time to go find some happy trees.
>just FUCKING PICK UP THE ITEM GODDAMN STUPID PAWN
I had a port crystal like 1 minute away so I just decided to do it for easy exp.
What the fuck is the point of that option? Surely they realized they fucked it up.
Stat gain per level diminishes, so in other words if you play the first 100 levels as assassin and then 100 level as sorc your phys damage will still be higher. You will have to mix it up a bit more.
Reload checkpoint brings you back to your hardsave at the Inn. It's a perfectly viable option if you REALLY fucked something up, the problem is that they don't have a normal fucking load button without dying.
pls help me I have tried google and it seems as if nobody is getting the same problem that I am.
I don't want to have to go through killing ogres with just standard attacks again.
Why would you WANT to do that...
The NMM philosophy (unpack and overwrite with zero error checking) doesn't even work for this type of game. You can't combine most mods.
We have to wait for someone to make a tool that will unpack, edit, and repack the game files exactly how Illusion game modding works.
I'm level 30 and haven't done the first wyrm hunt quest yet. Afraid of failing all these sidequests I haven't tracked down yet.
Is that weird? Should I just go ahead and do it? No idea what levels are good for what parts of the story
Normal saves and checkpoint saves are different things.
Checkpoints are made when you rest at an inn. Certain parts of the main quest also create checkpoint saves once completed.
So reloading at a checkpoint will almost always set you a lot further back than reloading your last save.
Alright, Grigori, enough fucking flying for you. Give me back my heart or I'll take it back via your asshole.
Yeah I ended up actually making my own little pixel art pallette and drawing the face symbols manually. Did the math to make sure that L1R1 and L2/R2 get displayed the same size in game like they did on the PS3 (47x33 for L2/R2 - 37x26 for L1/R1), tried to get the size of the face buttons on the circle the same-ish size, etc etc the autism goes on.
>start up game
>half the time it'll load in 1920x1080 like it's supposed to
>other times it just decides to start in 1768x992
Anyone else getting this? Not like it's a major issue but it's starting to get annoying
Just go to the wiki and find out which side quests run out when. Click "stage 1" or whatever and somewhere on that page will say "x quest must be completed before ending stage 1"
Not like they are spoilers or anything. Just look at the quest names that will expire, and make sure you have those done.
So i murdered Grigori, really cool fight. So i guess i should throw myself off this cliff in Gran Soren or go to DLC now? Also am i retarded or Magick Archer has really bad damage output? I was chipping away Grigori's HP while my Sorcerer pawn shaved two of his HP bars off with a single spell.
I had played Dragon's Dogma for 17 hours with no problems apart from maybe one or two crashes during a loading screen. Eventually I crashed during a loading screen going from the Duke's Demesne to Gran Soren, a transition I had made a few times already with no problem. Since then, whenever I open the game, I get as far as the CAPCOM logo splash screen and then I get "Dragon's Dogma has stopped working" and the game crashes and closes itself without fail. So I can no longer even play the game or reach the menu.
I've tried the following to fix the issue
>Running as Administrator
>Turning off my firewalls
>Reinstalling graphics card drivers
>Changing config options such as vsync, fullscreen and resolution
>Deleting the config
>Deleting my save file with and without the cloud sync.
What the fuck is even the fucking problem? How is this even happening. I've tried literally everything and nothing fixes this shit and now I can't play the game. What type of autistic shit is this?
>Forget in the past 3-4 years about the sensitivity of the autosave
>Decide to remind myself how brining shit feels
>On escort quest with Madeleine
>Toss all my pawns off the cliff
>Look at Madeleine
>Toss Madeleine off the cliff
>Fuck up and fall off the cliff as well
>Reappear on shoreline
>Madeleine is nowhere to be found
>Autosaved to me respawning on the shore
>mfw Madeleine is gone forever
Well at least there's no chance old Greggy will try to use her as my waifu.
Well, obviously, I have them bound to my left and right click, also E (don't judge no gamepad here senpai), and my skills used to work fine when I was playing as Fighter, but now nothing works.
How do I get Reynard to change his location? I need wine for Mercedes.
Already checked 4/5 locations and couldn't find him so he must be at the Great Wall.
Haven't gone there so far, so no port crystal and don't want to go up there right now.
So to update that focused bolt on pawns.
I removed magick agent on my save and now my pawn uses focused bolt alot.
Though giving him spells tend to fuck up with focused bolt cause he's always traing to cast a spell, repositiong himself and finding a spot to cast it instead of just attacking. I don't know if that's the case cause I gave him a fire spell and holy enchant and he just wanted to do fire damage, but I still think that he will prioritize spells either way.
So, my mage will be Healing/Debuffing + Ice/Fire/Holy/Lightning/Dark Affinity and when it's bosstime he will get High Grapnel, maybe that works out. And if his beast knowledge is 3 star at some point, he will do the most damaging buff all the time. This way he will just do Buffing>Healing>Focus Bolting! I think that's the best mage you can get. Also I earned around 15k points of Discplin so far while teaching him Focused bolt, that's around 5 hours I think. Just by progressing normally through the game and doing quests.
Interesting. I've had to go through several vectors to get decent buttons, apparently people have a really hard time conveying a two decade old design accurately. Thought about matching the size of the shapes too, but it looked off with those PC buttons.
I want to steal your math, by the way.
No. Throw yourself off the cliff to do mini dungeon maps and there's also the post game quest there.
You can also explore gransys and there are cool new monsters around. What you want to do is, once you decide you are done with the main game's overworld, complete the quest in the hole (you can do some of it, get out, and continue later). Once you finish the quest there's no going back. After that finish the post-game story 100% (including THAT part), you'll go back to the main menu. Then you start new game plus.
In NG+ you start the story again up to the point where you get your pawn again.
NOW you can go back to Cassardis (at night) and talk to the woman on the pier. NOW you can start the DLC
>Why do I have to wait til then
The DLC references post-game stuff. DON'T do it til then. Also more levels for you to prepare. It's a pretty high level area. Also in my opinion better than the base game itself. Prepare for the most GOAT fucking dungeon in any video game released in many years
Probably because the player picks shit up during battle so they don't have to run around the map afterwards. I do this and I have to constantly reset my pawns inclination. Got tired of it, said fuck it.
That shot isn't very good for hitting weakpoints on large monsters I've noticed
MA is a good class and a lot of fun but it can be a lot more situational than others
Also there is no class that has better burst than a sorc
They will completely fuck up anything that lets them cast (except golems)
my pawn sorcereress on the right, did I do decent enough?
I know that haircut is dime a dozen, but I wanted to give her something that doesnt clip too much
I'm completely new to the game
If I want my pawn to be an amazing sorcerer, is it okay to just switch to sorcerer after mage for the whole game?
Looking at the way people talk about vocations, I'm willing to bet that there's some really good augment or skill from another class that would make her even better. Any tips/hints would be helpful.
It's Latin IIRC, don't know why
The Wyverns and the Drakes speak it to. They might be Arisen who died to the Dragon and are turned into Dragonkin. I think if they speak Latin, they're from the dead civilization on the Tainted Mountain, but I'm speculating
>mfw getting Easy Kill for the first time
It's like I'm literally an edgy Deviantart OC
I fucking love it
Go for it, download mine, take whatever's good/valuable (if anything).
The scaling I found off of actual dimensions of the texture portion (when playing in 1080p) was roughly 115% for L1/R1, and roughly 90% for L2/R2, it shrinks L2/R2 for the Xbox controls for whatever reason.
holy shit that picture is triggering the fuck out of me
Extensive research on the ranks of my friends' pawns has shown me that I should've made my pawn a loli to get more hires.
What are some decent early game armors and weapons for Assassin?
not sure why I took a screenshot at that moment
Go fighter. Fighter rank 5 gives you Sinew which raises carry weight by a ton which is desperately needed. Idk about other augments, but you still want to go fighter (or warrior I guess if you really want to) for HP stat gains. It won't be useful late late game if it gets 1shotted.
>everyone in society complains about pedos
>yet little girls are the most popular
It's 03:40 AM and I just spoke up cause I went to bed too early.
I can't play DD for another week, maybe even two.
So every fight either goes:
>everyone shits on easy enemies like goblins or harpies
>all 3 pawns keep getting dowend and I'm just running in circles picking them up and slowly chipping away at the enemy.
Why is that one bandit fucker as strong as 10 of his friends anyway? Fuck me.
can't hide those suppressed feelings anon
Does the gold idol have to be in my inventory or can it also be in my pawns inventory?
Has anybody used this? We can change the class stats and shit with it but I don't know where to start.
What sorcerer spells should I be using? I'm 2 ranks away from maxing out the vocation.
There's a dragon somewhere around devilfire grove that I want payback on. Will Gicel and Maelstrom (not the upgraded versions) do the trick?
Is Seism any good?
And what's the better thunder spell: Fulmination or Bolide? I really like both and I can't make up my mind.
You can always come here to funpost. We will help you through your hardships.
Don't bother, that's just a GUI for a tool (which the guy didn't ask permission to use, by the way).
Type arctool -h, look at the guides on OP, check that Resident Evil modding forum or even try Xentax. Welcome to autism.
Any Sorcerers able to use Focused Bolt or Magick Agent?
I bought them both but holding X or triangle just casts a normal light attack or heavy attack.
Does this on both my xbox controller and my mouse too, so it can't be that.
Alright, which of you accidentally killed this nigga?
>Look through the rest of the Nexus
>Still just a handful of one-off texture swaps including inevitable nudes and a billion "TOTALLY ORIGINAL AND GOOD ENB PRESET"s
So is there, like, any chance that actual gameplay shit will get modified? More gear, more monsters, more quests, more skills, etc.?
Or is DD, as a console game, too hard-coded to change that drastically? It definitely seems likely given that the unlimited sprint and/or weight limit mods seem to require actually replacing an entire main file that's like 43MB in size.
Warrior is a fun class for boss fights but man I just find it slow and tedious for pretty much everything else.
if it was just a bit faster i'd love it. the lack of ranged is also painful at times albeit the jump attack can alleviate that a smidge
>finally settle on a character after a solid hour of planning and deciding
>happy with it
>now after 2hrs I hate my arisen and think his head is too small
Convince me not to restart guys
It has been a week, give it some time.
Can't be done. Only games you can pirate and play online on Steam are 100% peer-to-peer ones.
Is it modding autism or autism autism?
Rate my Arisen. I tried really hard to make him look as realistic as possible.
Also Bill Paxton isn't mine, I saw him in the Rift and just had to grab him.
Ayy that's what I'm here for.
Let's excruciatingly plan what I'll do when I finally get to play again:
1) Finish the quarry quest and kill the two remaining ogres, I tried doing it sooner but was way too weak to kill the second, not to mention third one.
2) Finish the time/grimoire/whatever its called quest. I saw someone mentioning a fake one? I wonder how that's done and if the reward is the same.
3) Finish the fournival quest where I have to find that annoying pipsqueak and talk to him, I have no idea where he ran off to.
Turns out this is a 10/10 port.
Played about 25 hrs in the last 2 days still no rent tho, is the community not as active?
If someone makes a good mod manager (apparently someone's working on one), that sprint mod would be just bunch of folders and 3 1kb files.
As for real mods, there's a lot we don't know yet about how the game stores or accesses data. Like I know I could edit a shopkeeper's inventory to hold new stuff, and I could model swap/fiddle around and create a new .arc file with a new piece of equipment, but I don't know what file/data actually holds a list of valid things to exist in the game.
Just curious what are all the quests that I should complete prior to moving on to the wyrn hunt?
there is a cheat engine table out there that lets you edit you and your pawn, go grab it.
if you're autistic then you can also get a one-time character remake from the rift crystal guy in the encampment, although that costs 5k crystals and with pawn rental rewards being kill thats a shit ton
alot of rent systems are busted, you've probably had your pawn rented a couple times but rewards/gifts/notifications are broken.
I'm on hard mode and wearing whatever the fuck I please
Early on you'll get one shot no matter what you're wearing, later you'll get two shot no matter what you're wearing
If you're gud you can do whatever you want
Get a bandit mask you can reroll appearance end game
>tfw seriously considering gunning for grand ingle/grand levin
i have too many high cast time spells on my sorc
i want off this ride
>have a specific outfit in mind
>complete aesthetic but has good debilitation resistance, but shit phys/mag defense and knockdown/stagger resist
>was going to shoot for at least 3k hp to compensate
>if i want small spells i legit need that extra MAG which would mean a new outfit
>cant compromise so that would mean redesigning my pawns look
>Use cheat engine to use knowledge scrolls on friend's pawn
>His game now crashes when he loads his game
Does anyone know how to get the Dragonforged's escort quest (Heart's compass or something) to become available?
the wiki says you can only do it after completing the Cypher and before accepting Come to Court, but nothing
I even got my affinity up with him, still nothing.
After the attack it will charge up.
So do it in a combo or whatever and hold the X button at the end of it. You'll see your staff give off 'woosh' when it's charged.
Last time I tried to fight him my grand ingle didn't do jack.
1)Bring lots of lolis with you, ogres like that
2)You can forge items at the black cat. Depending on whether you give the guy the forged or the real tome you get different outcomes on a later quest
He will come to aid you using his tome, If it's a fake one he will get rekt, if not he casts some magic
3)He is hiding, but I think you even have a quest marker.
ok you convinced me to restart, fuck you
CUT MY WRISTS AND BLACK MY EYES
>my arisen is female so I got a fukken royal dress
Does using the "Share" feature save screenshots to your computer? Anyone know the location the location?
>After the attack it will charge up.
>So do it in a combo or whatever and hold the X button at the end of it. You'll see your staff give off 'woosh' when it's charged.
I am holding it
I played on the ps3 back when it came out, so I know how to do it, it just doesn't work now on PC
I hold X and my character shoots out a single normal bolt and then just stands there. Same with Magick Agent with triangle
It's definitely a bug, I just want to know if it's affecting more people than just me or how to fix it
Two cuties, unusual.
>Going through trying to equip the armor
>can't figure out why the fuck I can't put it on
>strip my character to see if I can
>standing naked in the street
>check armor details
>See the dress
>it's the same ugly fucking dress the trader has
I was not pleased.
How is editing textures going to help me with sidequests?
So long friend ;_;
Can anyone answer some lore-questions?
Why does Gran Soren get all fucked up as soon as Grigori dies? What are the Dragon's ties to the Everfall? Where does the new dragon come from if the player defeats the Seneschal? Supposedly the Dragon is a player that lost to the Seneschal.
Do it. Grand levin is fast and hits hard enough if all bolts connect. Grand frigor takes forever but it makes for a lot of ice-spikes and tosses fuckers high in the air. Not sure about grand ingle, probably good but hell hounds have made me want to avoid fire for a while. Definitely mix in some fast-casting spells anyway, maybe even miasma.
Also I feel you. Go for aesthetics anyway. High magic, plus warrior's ferocity +core skill damage augment, plus focused bolts hits hard enough.
ah, thats smart nig
it's a sunday, crapcom probably doesn't even know about it. earliest I can foresee is like thursday - friday if we're lucky.
We are talking about Julien's armor, no?
that is dlc gear.
First playthrough here, lvl 26.
How should I be helping my pawn? Giving weapons? Changing its stats (How!?!?).
I have left it untouched since the start of the game.
>Last time I tried to fight him my grand ingle didn't do jack.
It knocked him out of the air so we could do better damage. Not going to kill him in the air.
The problem with pawn priorities is not that they somehow come into conflict in a single action, because there isn't a single action. What can happen is that as a pawn, say, moves in to do something with your secondary tier, it gets distracted by a new priority that is made possible on the primary tier. Does this make sense to you? Imagine that in the five seconds it takes the pawn to move from point A to B it is constantly checking its priorities, and during the travel it sees a higher priority C point. So it starts going to C, but then this gets cancelled (e.g. target moves out of range, Arisen moves, etc.) and then goes back to B but then again the battlefield changes...
>FINALLY GOT SOMEONE OTHER THAN FUCKING FOURNIVAL
JULIEN BEST GIRL
poster of >>128935815 I didn't really have much choice, I did a search for people in my level for specifics and they were the only ones who didn't have party hats and chipmunk voices.
T-There's no way to talk this out, right?
Mage Level 33 called Alatar now available.
>Holy/Fire Affininty, will chose based on enemies weakness, both are fine early game.
He's using Legion's Might and is trained to do Focused Bolt, He actually does it. Otherwise he will prioritize Buffing and Healing. Noteable augments for you is the better mechant prices(Suasion). Make sure to press "Help"-Commad before a fight so he buffs you beforehand and doenst waste time infight. He uses Healing items and throws Skulls if you give them to him.
Please give him a shot, he needs 3 star knowledge on monsters so he choses the right affinity when facing them. I want to add othere elements later on too once he has enough knowledge.
>picture is missing legions might!
If you happen to see him by chance, please test his focused bolt ability, I'd like to know if he does it for you too and not just for me.
THINGS I WISH I KNEW 48 HOURS AGO
>pressing select while paused quicksaves
>moldy apples/grapes can be mixed with water to make a very good curative
>warriors can hit mining spots with their weapon to knock all the ore out instantly, explosive barrels work too
Where does the new dragon come from if the player defeats the Seneschal? Supposedly the Dragon is a player that lost to the Seneschal. Don't you become the new dragon after you kill yourself as the new Seneschal?
I forgive you anon. You were just trying to be helpful.
Is there a mod or something to force a quest to spawn? I can't do lost and found because I didn't know that if you did another quest it dissapears
is there any way i can make the game stay active while its my non-active window?
so i can do other shit on my pc while i afk farm vocations?
>Going smooth great making great time
>Get to griggs
>Jump a gap I've done a million times
>Arisen just flies into the ledge and doesnt grab it
>Fall to my death
The drake just incinerated the super armored cyclops. Aside from this, this Shadow Fort escort wasn't that bad.
>Selene's and Barnaby's outfits can be acquired in game
>you must complete Speed Run mode
The armor is pretty shit m80. It's outclassed pretty soon, and it doesn't even give you THAT much protection to begin with except maybe from shit like goblins. You still get rekt by cyclopes and chimeras and shit if you get hit.
Stop looking for reasons to get mad and cry like a bitch. No one cares if you cry.
The Everfall is the gateway to the Seneschal. Once the Arisen has proven itself by defeating the Dragon, the Everfall opens up fully. Lots of Arisens have failed to defeat the Seneschal, presumably just another dragon rolls in. Arguably they jump from planet to alternate planet, such that when someone say... makes a pact to become Duke then Grigori goes off to terrorize another land for a while before coming back. I like to think of them as fucked up Guardian Angels.
>warriors can hit mining spots with their weapon to knock all the ore out instantly, explosive barrels work too
The fucking wut? I didn't even get my first pickax until I took it from the loli witch girl.
Here have one from me.
>Press F3 to get help
>your mage will give you an element that the enemy is weak to if he knows it
He says stuff about how he felt humbled by being between you and the dragon. How he finally realised that he was devoting himself to completely insignificant bullshit.
On top of that, you've killed and revived him earlier in the game to get his romance. He's pretty much totally the Arisen's fuccboi now.
I serve in the army and get to go home two weekends in a row, then I stay for a weekend and go home two weekends in a row again.
Problem is I just switched jobs and they haven't told me if I'm going home again this coming Thursday.
save berries, berries + water = eyedropper, blindness is fucking terrible to wait out
they get moldy, which improves their health benefits, but they won't mold in your main game storage
I usually carry a few apples around and let them mold, white wine is good shit
I really shouldn't have made my arisen and main pawn fulfill all my niche moe fantasies and shit man. It's way the fuck too distracting.
Dragons can probably cross between worlds, the beginning cutscene of Grigs and the harpies might show him doing this Also all the drakes and wyverns littering Gransys are former Arisen so maybe one of them gets promoted and gets to start eating hearts
>go to rift to get new pawns
>see ranger lolipawn
>higher level and better skills than current ranger pawn
>grudgingly hire her
>mfw realize its pawn i hired once before that was pretty good
welcome back emi!
to the owner of a ranger emi, she's pretty good, though ive only seen her use foot binder or whatever it is once, shes good with the charge shot though
>Took me 25 hours to realize that you can use abilities while climbing enemies.
>legitimate knowledge that can be obtained in-game
That's where you're wrong. There are scroll item ID's that aren't obtainable in game and appear in your inventory in the Other tab with a question mark is their icon. But they can still be used.
Also, I learned about spell mirroring in this battle. It rocks.
Anyone here with a map of Gran Soren with all the location marks?
Mine started using it before me, but I'm not sure if they were using it right. She used it on a dragon, although gicel would have been a better choice.
You can teach her to use it as crowd control, and she'll mirror it.
Or he will, I suppose.
There was one that was posted here and I saved it last week or something. For some reason the one with the butt bandage still included is the only one on the nexus.
probably too silly for plebs
>Picking some new quests on board
>1st was kill X whatever so i assume that's all
>There was a fucking escort mission between them
Can i cancel it and try later ?
Also fuck the kill the ogres (or whatever the name of the horny monster) quest on the mines. It was annoying as fuck fighting on that tiny ass area
Just at the beginning of Gen 4, long long ways to go. Went and peeked in about a couple hours ago.
>TFW doing the last of my min/max autism levels as Warrior to 100+
>20 levels to go
>Can't contribute shit to Ur-Dragon
>I have not done any of that all game
>no wonder he is so bad
Just changed to Warrior and did the spooky tentacles mission under the pawn guild.
I gotta say, it feels like I'm doing substantially less damage than when I was a Fighter. Killing zombies on the way to the capital took way less time than the ones in the dungeon. Did I accidentally pick the no-damage tank class? I just want to cleave ass with a giant sword.
>Tfw trying Ricochet Hunter for the first time
Oh my fucking god, I am so erect right now. Holy shit.
Nah, she's always been a pure damage dealer, save for one debuff spell offhand.
I made Alma back on the 360 but never really trained her in-depth.
This time is different however, seeing as how I know the game quite well at this point.
Its not just the visuals. I also made my main pawn a shy qt Amazon and she keeps saying shit like "I-I think I've had enough of battle" and shit. My dick and heart are both unsafe.
The one thing the warrior isn't lacking in is damage
They're awful tanks and passable meatshields
and one of the worst classes in the game albeit fun to play
Your fighter probably had a better weapon and higher level skills, whenever switching to a new class it will suck for a few ranks and take time to get going
Alright, I was thinking since he went through gen 2 like hotcakes that cheatengine fags made him go up 3 gens today. I don't want to rush through the game just to get to fight him but something tells me I'm still gonna be too late.
Though you've got to realize the game world has existed in stagnation for eons upon eons, I mean Savan went through the same castle as you to fight Grigori and it looks the same now as it did 2000 years ago.
People just find a place that looks like a decent settlement and start building, all the pawns congregating there could've played a part too. Also, it's not clear whether or not there are multiple Everfalls... for all we know it just happens to be the closest one for your Arisen.
>10 lvls as Fighter
>20 lvls as Assassin
>10 lvls as Ranger
>40 lvls as Sorc
>20 lvls as Warrior or Assassin
Is this a good strat for making a strong MK/MA? Should I specialize more?
Played Ranger and Sorcerer back on the ps3, thinking of going mystic knight this time, I started with fighter until I got Sinew then switched to warrior for the augments since they were pretty helpful on my ranger, then I'm gonna switch to MK. Good plan? Do I need any of the magic class augments or stats, I heard MK is pretty balance in terms of growth or can I just go ahead straight to MK?
male nude mods are so rare because of the fact that you actually need to model edit
there's a girl that does male and female nude mods for Dragon Nest and they are hilarious
It's my pawn I'm concerned about. I'm not banking anything on core skills since I've experimented with it multiple times in the past and decided it's not worth it.
>Grand Levin requires a ring slot
>as well as equipping another light spell if I want the most mileage out of the ring
>would rather Comestion than Grand Ingle
i hate this
i hate sorc. i've played it like 4-5 times now and I'm still not set on what skills to use.
Nude mod for both male and female that I got from here. You only have to replace the i_body files, don't know what the other stuff is for.
I need to expand on new pawns, I've hired several over again.
It's pretty cool that you can tell who is playing at the same time. You go to drop off your pawn and research to find them 5-10 levels higher now.
If it's the same system as console, and no reason to believe it isn't, there are damage caps on Ur-Dragon specifically to prevent this. There was stat hacking on console too, so it's an old and resolved problem.
We've only gone through a few gens now because of max level save transfers beating the hell out of him and/or people using CE to hit that damage cap consistently. But we're not gonna see him hit Gen 100 or something ridiculous within the week.
Once that 3dsmax ms script gets updated to be able to export .mods for Dragon's Dogma you better believe I'm making a dick. I know an animator too so I might even be able to get it floppy (probably not, this game's weird)
You fucked up a small questline as wel as an area you won't have access to later. It's a common mistakes around new players.
I fucked it up as well, despite having countless hours in the console version
Don't worry to much, you can still do this in NG.
Unless you REALLY like gothic lolitas it's not that bad.
Sorry m80s, it's just Ken Doll mode. I've seen Resident Evil mods with erections before so maybe that can be done in the future. Still better than nothing.
My pawn doesn't want to cover her chest in public, what do I do?
>You missed Quina and Selene and an entire area
I don't really care about what dirty, shitstained harlots I might've missed, but I dearly hope there wasn't a giant monster in there to slay.
I'm lvl 40, magick archer, with ~20 or so levels in sorc, ~10 in mage and assorted levels on strider, fighter and warrior for augments.
How viable is it to switch to Mystic Knight now, and how viable is Mystic Knight in BBI? I actually played a bit of magick archer in the 360 version and I'm not sure I'm feeling it now. I want to smack shit in the face but not have to rely on dumbass pawns when it comes to magic.
Backup your save if you're worried.
Though pawn returns are busted, and all the "Unknown Foe" knowledge is from beating enemies of similar types (i.e. fighting a Sauran gives you knowledge of Sulfer and Geo Saurans under "Unknown Foe"). Also putting that 'forbidden knowledge' on a rented pawn would presumably crash your own game too... so yeah.
>Everyones pawns are annoying as fuck lolis or meme characters
>Try to play with just me as a Fighter and my main pawn as Mage
>Main pawn dies almost instantly while I get stunlocked and knocked around like a rag doll
i favorited her cause i liked her (second hire was just a glance at body, didnt look at name till after) the first time i hired her and like i said, shes pretty smart, though you might want to work on getting her to use foot binder (she bound one of the bandit leaders to a cliff wall, was hilarious and very helpful) a little more
if you see a fighter named Romrik thats mine, not sure how useful he is right now though, hes pretty good at holding mobs and getting everyones attention. havent really played fighter much since i mainly use strider to climb shit, need to work on that
shes a reference to emi from katawa shoujo isnt she?
Thank you. I don't know why I didn't check.
Looking for an AHK bro that can design the following:
L1+R1 pressed together hold down Square after I let go of those two
Then square is released the next time I press it
>Can't romance your main pawn
>Have to pick between the like two characters that aren't shit-encrusted peasants who haven't washed in their lives
I usually hold off until endgame and just dragon forge my pawns gear off story then arisen off hard mode.
If its your first playthrough I would say yes upgrade your weapons as you go but dont obsess over it its not a big deal
Only some of the most annoying enemies there are, but you will encounter them on other places as well.
What's bad is you miss out on some pretty flowers you need to upgrade some high tier weapons. For this playthrough at least.
To the save editing niggs, I removed my pawns core skills from the save like you guys said to remove the core skills, but it also removed anodyne from his skill set and I am unable to purchase it anymore so I am stuck with a mage pawn that has no anodyne
This fucking sucks guys
Sorry guys, I made this, all it does is removes the alpha layer that makes the default underwear visible. Once model exporting/importing is possible I'll try to make a penis.
Presumably, if there's meshes around for the DDO ones. I don't really know if they're floating around.
You can actually look at most models from the game right now with this guy's ms script: http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/3146/hdremaster-rev2-tool-script-3dsmax
He's apparently working on getting it more fully functional, including repacking your changes to a mesh into a mod file for DD.
The skin texture would have to be redone to extend over the dick, and would be subject to the exact same coloration normal skin color has. There's only one skin texture for each gender, the game just colorizes it. If you use a strong color on the skin it'll still show through your chosen skin color though.
When you get that 1 hit kill stab when your pawn is holding them.
Fighter is fun, but I generally dislike "pure" classes.
It's very strong too, you won't be gimping yourself in any way.
>mfw I teach my pawn to spam skull splitter
go now, and destroy shit across thousands of games.
Is it true sticking with you + main pawn means you'll get absolutely shitstomped?
I want to rock my Warrior and my Sorcerer and no one else, mostly because other people's pawns are either stupid memes or lolis.
A MILLION TIMES THIS
>Arc of Deliverance
>doing everfall after fighting Grigori
>camera starts glitching out when falling
>cant land anywhere
>starting to get a headache
>tfw on my way to the Great Wall, the cyclops that was supposed to stay on my way just goes and jumps off deliberately after seeing me
I did back up my save (its somewhere in my recycle bin) but I did a few quests and got some levels, expecting it to come back eventually
Take a peek around the AHK guides for some ideas on what to write up, but you'll probably be looking at some sort of "if" statement that checks keystates.
>if not GetKeyState("JoyR")
Dunno offhand what your send response would be, but I know there's an example of either a key hold or key repeat that you could stick in there and then you could write up a separate part for releasing the square.
Also make sure to get AHKs JoystickTest.ahk file to find your gamepad key ids, they'll be particular to each controller so that's something you'd definitely have to do for yourself.
you should get the wyrmking ring and sorcerer speed and magic attack 20% increase augment to make enchanting or archstaff use a breeze; it will also affect your attacks with enchanted weapons, which you'll be doing, I promise you. Also to raise magic attack do sorcerer in NG+. I'm doing the same thing you're doing now, currently at warrior to get that 20% strength augment and then going assassin to boost my attack while I can.
Well if you really want that full potential you should stick to magick damage. You can play Magick Archer if you want a more active playstyle.
As for minmaxing generally, you don't need it to successfully get through the game. Play the classes you feel like and have fun with it. It's what everyone did first and we all made it.
Save your RCs. You can forge inclination potions for 375 gold.
Better scars/freckles and makeup textures are coming.
Does anyone know where the hair textures are?
>Game is too easy on normal
>Game is too hard on hard
What are the best daggers for early/mid game?
Galvanic Razors or Bardiche?
Is there any advantage to pure phys over permanent enchant weapons? because on paper the galvanics destroy the bardiches.
TLDR is there any advantage to pure physical weapons over perma-enchant weapons.
it's sorcerer level 9 I think. Mage also has one similar at level 8/9
Added my pawn to the list. Mirrored spells are fun.
hey, blue's owner, i fucked up and her inclination got erased, sorry man (hit enter to try to add a line to my pawns inclination and it jumped up to her box didnt know it would happen, my bad)
Avoid split damage weapons unless you've got the Magick Attack to go with it. With the way the game calculates damage against defence, going either purely physical or purely magick is generally better.
