Normal saves and checkpoint saves are different things.

Checkpoints are made when you rest at an inn. Certain parts of the main quest also create checkpoint saves once completed.
So reloading at a checkpoint will almost always set you a lot further back than reloading your last save.

I had played Dragon's Dogma for 17 hours with no problems apart from maybe one or two crashes during a loading screen. Eventually I crashed during a loading screen going from the Duke's Demesne to Gran Soren, a transition I had made a few times already with no problem. Since then, whenever I open the game, I get as far as the CAPCOM logo splash screen and then I get "Dragon's Dogma has stopped working" and the game crashes and closes itself without fail. So I can no longer even play the game or reach the menu.

I've tried the following to fix the issue

>Running as Administrator
>Turning off my firewalls
>Reinstalling game
>Restarting computer
>Reinstalling graphics card drivers
>Changing config options such as vsync, fullscreen and resolution
>Deleting the config
>Deleting my save file with and without the cloud sync.

So to update that focused bolt on pawns.
I removed magick agent on my save and now my pawn uses focused bolt alot.
Though giving him spells tend to fuck up with focused bolt cause he's always traing to cast a spell, repositiong himself and finding a spot to cast it instead of just attacking. I don't know if that's the case cause I gave him a fire spell and holy enchant and he just wanted to do fire damage, but I still think that he will prioritize spells either way.

So, my mage will be Healing/Debuffing + Ice/Fire/Holy/Lightning/Dark Affinity and when it's bosstime he will get High Grapnel, maybe that works out. And if his beast knowledge is 3 star at some point, he will do the most damaging buff all the time. This way he will just do Buffing>Healing>Focus Bolting! I think that's the best mage you can get. Also I earned around 15k points of Discplin so far while teaching him Focused bolt, that's around 5 hours I think. Just by progressing normally through the game and doing quests.

No. Throw yourself off the cliff to do mini dungeon maps and there's also the post game quest there.

You can also explore gransys and there are cool new monsters around. What you want to do is, once you decide you are done with the main game's overworld, complete the quest in the hole (you can do some of it, get out, and continue later). Once you finish the quest there's no going back. After that finish the post-game story 100% (including THAT part), you'll go back to the main menu. Then you start new game plus.

In NG+ you start the story again up to the point where you get your pawn again.

NOW you can go back to Cassardis (at night) and talk to the woman on the pier. NOW you can start the DLC

The scaling I found off of actual dimensions of the texture portion (when playing in 1080p) was roughly 115% for L1/R1, and roughly 90% for L2/R2, it shrinks L2/R2 for the Xbox controls for whatever reason.

Go fighter. Fighter rank 5 gives you Sinew which raises carry weight by a ton which is desperately needed. Idk about other augments, but you still want to go fighter (or warrior I guess if you really want to) for HP stat gains. It won't be useful late late game if it gets 1shotted.

As for real mods, there's a lot we don't know yet about how the game stores or accesses data. Like I know I could edit a shopkeeper's inventory to hold new stuff, and I could model swap/fiddle around and create a new .arc file with a new piece of equipment, but I don't know what file/data actually holds a list of valid things to exist in the game.

Do it. Grand levin is fast and hits hard enough if all bolts connect. Grand frigor takes forever but it makes for a lot of ice-spikes and tosses fuckers high in the air. Not sure about grand ingle, probably good but hell hounds have made me want to avoid fire for a while. Definitely mix in some fast-casting spells anyway, maybe even miasma.

Also I feel you. Go for aesthetics anyway. High magic, plus warrior's ferocity +core skill damage augment, plus focused bolts hits hard enough.

The problem with pawn priorities is not that they somehow come into conflict in a single action, because there isn't a single action. What can happen is that as a pawn, say, moves in to do something with your secondary tier, it gets distracted by a new priority that is made possible on the primary tier. Does this make sense to you? Imagine that in the five seconds it takes the pawn to move from point A to B it is constantly checking its priorities, and during the travel it sees a higher priority C point. So it starts going to C, but then this gets cancelled (e.g. target moves out of range, Arisen moves, etc.) and then goes back to B but then again the battlefield changes...

Make sure to press "Help"-Commad before a fight so he buffs you beforehand and doenst waste time infight. He uses Healing items and throws Skulls if you give them to him.

Please give him a shot, he needs 3 star knowledge on monsters so he choses the right affinity when facing them. I want to add othere elements later on too once he has enough knowledge.

The Everfall is the gateway to the Seneschal. Once the Arisen has proven itself by defeating the Dragon, the Everfall opens up fully.

Lots of Arisens have failed to defeat the Seneschal, presumably just another dragon rolls in. Arguably they jump from planet to alternate planet, such that when someone say... makes a pact to become Duke then Grigori goes off to terrorize another land for a while before coming back. I like to think of them as fucked up Guardian Angels.

So it was just bad luck they actually built the capital on it?

Just changed to Warrior and did the spooky tentacles mission under the pawn guild.
I gotta say, it feels like I'm doing substantially less damage than when I was a Fighter. Killing zombies on the way to the capital took way less time than the ones in the dungeon. Did I accidentally pick the no-damage tank class? I just want to cleave ass with a giant sword.
