when will they add items to terraria that are so powerful that you wouldn't be able to die at all
but it'd be really hard to create like you would have to combine every type of something in the game
oh yes it's worth buying. the only potentially necessary building moments are creating arenas to make boss fights easier. other than that you can make dirt hovels for your npc's.

Why we cannot have more powerful close combat weapons? Something like Breaker Blade, but actually useful.
I see it as bad game design. Here's how I think it should be:
>highest armor (needs to be bumped up a lot to compensate for the risk of close combat)
>highest damage dealt as a reward for the risk
>merge 'throwing' damage weapons into melee playstyle. they deal melee damage and act as a sidearm for melee fighters.
>heavy use of flasks to augment attacks and inflict debuffs
>lowest base damage
>merge summoning into magic playstyle and create Magic/Summoning specialty hoods for each hardmode set just like ranged has Arrow/Bullet/Rocket
>summoning does not require mana but has other limitations (so a mage out of mana is not just dangling out there with nothing to do)
>specialty is putting out high quantities of low-damage projectiles, along with the huge variety of spells and attack patterns
>medium base damage weapons with an emphasis on critical % and ammo conservation
>high mobility, emphasis on avoiding contact with enemies
>specialty is the sheer variety of attack styles and ammunition types, giving the ranger a tool for every situation
>make a minimalist world from scratch in TEdit
>put a 6x6 square of shadow orbs in corruption
>fight a large EoW
>wonder why i can't pick anything up
>my near-empty inventory was full of non-stacking drops
