Stefanie Joosten is the best thing to have happened to the Metal gear series.
Stefanie Joosten is the BEST thing to have happened to the Metal Gear series.
that I'll never play as
For some reason Shadowplay didn't save everything I tried saving.
I should probably get longer videos than just the last 3 minutes in case there was some gold I missed.
I got this and a clip of two enemies running into my fulton cannons, but that wasn't good enough for a webm.
Yeah, basically. Spotting rifles also make more sense for the time period than laser range finders. Practically nothing in TPP feels like it was from the 80s. Pic related is from the 90s.
It's just Avtomat Kalashnikova or AK, nobody in the Russian speaking world ever called or does call it an AK-47.
Then it became the AKM, and that's the most common one you see all the time.
Does the Fulton+ Perk effect the Fulton Cannon?
first time webm so plz no bully k?
>it instantly makes me let go
>enemy stands there frozen, try to grab him again but he's immune to cqc
>5 seconds later i die
this is some dark souls level shit. is there not a single jap dev that can make functioning netcode?
>people actually play like this.
never mind the fucking lag, what the shit were you guys doing all cobbled up togheter?
you're supposed to be separate enough from them so they don't shoot you as collateral target, but close enough to cover their blindspots/counter stealth sneaky assholes.
>change the size to 720 (820 if you want) and -1
>bitrate at 8000 if its less that 20 seconds
>max filesize should be 3mb
Two things I don't get about online so far:
The maps are small enough that you can sprint from one team's spawn to the other in like 5 seconds, but you can select spawn points all over the map, or spawn on your buddy, and there's no spawn timer at all. Every game I've been in so far has ended up with both teams cluttering tightly in one area and leaving 90% of the map completely unused. How are you supposed to sneaky beaky anything when it's constant gunfights and no downtime at all?
Secondly, if every class starts out the same, and you have to unlock their basic abilities by leveling up, what was the point of having classes at all? Why not just having the skill system like MGO2?
Everything is just leaving me asking "why would they do that?"
because instead of making 4 character slots with open customization they went with 3 closed ones and couldn't predict which one would the players pick first instead of doing the logical thing and force a class to begginers.
>Get limbs chopped off by super powered dead people with super machetes
>Still don't get prosthesis
Why is kaz so cool?
i dont think the skulls did it.
They did how do you think he knew about the skulls?
NEW WEBM FEATURING SCUM
>OP's file deleted
Are anti joost fags really this jealous?
>Team is already 75% of the way to losing
>Ocelot player is spamming "YOU'RE PRETTY GOOD" not just to annoy people but is literally laughing like a little girl on the mic about it
>They ignore objectives
>Ignore KO'd teammates
>Crowd around stunned enemies trying to steal the fulton
>Shoot people that are being CQC'd
>Sprinting around in stealth camo think they're invisible
>Constantly getting shot in Cloak and Dagger
>Enemy team are fucking Navy SEALs compared to this shit
I can't fucking take it anymore, why is it ALWAYS my team filled with drooling retards? How can anyone even be so bad at such a simplified casual shooter?
>Can't use Fulton Cannon in Cloak and Dagger
>Can use Fulton Punch though
>Can't use lethal weapons in Cloak and Dagger
>Can still steal them from the defenders
You can only use non lethal weapons while on the invisible team. Litterally only "non-lethal", meaning no special shit like the snare kitty and fulton cannon. Just things that either cause stun damage or tranq damage. NOTHING else.
I have an enforcer and a scout and scout is by far my favorite. A lot of variety and you can rack up as many kills as an enforcer if you're good with a sniper rifle and find good spots to survey from. You can make really effective long range and close range builds but I think where scout really shines is mid range with a flip scope assault rifle. Favorite thing to do with scout though is long range recon/counter-sniping
you can do anything as long as it means finishing the round.
>fulton two guys with +10 bounties on them
>we still lose because my team is stupider than shit
>some black guy constantly saying fuck'nigga and asking what the hell bounties are and saying how the game is stupid because he can't figure out how to play
>3 guys in a group just standing around
>none of them shoot at the person getting fultoned right in front of them
>none of them do anything about the guy running around CQCing them
>guy in a walker running around gets literally 29 kills because nobody bothered to do anything about them
>Reminder: People who "bought MB Coins still need to keep their guards up for the inevitable. Enjoy your cosmetics before it's too late. Back up saves just in case.
Anyway to Proxy this shit?
>your teammates can kill the enemy team when you are trying to fulton them
>but they can't kill them when they're currently gangraping you
>fulton takes enemy away
>lolnopoints because his teammate managed to pop the ballon as he's being sent to fucking space
>the sound of him being successfully fulton'd still played
it doesnt mean it was kaz's legs.
do you really think kojima will just go "ror they cut his leg and arm off" when he could make a story about a man who would lose and arm and leg than tell someone information about Big Boss
So by long range recon, you mean being a useless retard occasionally spotting someone and sitting in a corner thinking"im helping".
> comm control
> round 1 ends
> close match
> 50 point difference
> round 2 begins
> B comm is already under control
> go to it
> control meter doesn't go down
> round over
> other team wins
U wut m8?
>you didn't get kills but you gave your team wallhack that let cap/defend with ease
Every mark I made was unknown prior to the mark and each mark was hunted down instead of being ran into randomly. All marked enemies made 0 kills after being marked and nearly all unmarked enemies made kills. I got more exp than any enforcer on my team and no one died when pushing a point.
no, useless would be one more person running around when the whole team already is
They're annoying and not everyone has NVG to counter it.
You can block off doorways and similar sightlines. If you're marked they can still see you. They might also just fire through the smoke to threaten you.
>had a hard life
>renounced the japanese peace force for cheap military money
>guy kills/capture entire squad
>he practically bullies you into becoming his bff
>end up building a haven for soldiers with him
>life is good, and friends surround you.
>suddenly the schoolgirl fucks everything up
>months later lose the home you built
>everyone you know has moved on/got killed/left
>your bff got into a coma
>try to move on, practically on the same place as a decade ago, but now with even more loss
>another decade passes, shit doens't get better.
>get captured and chopped up by magical creepy squad right after being told bff awoke
>bff rescues him
>try to get revenge on the ones that fuck him over
>build everything back up with bff
>everything feels hollow and lifeless now
>at least bff is back
>turns out it's not
>bff not only doesn't want to talk to him, he outright lies and puts a double on him
>truly lost everything, lost the closest person to him, and nobody loves him
>end up helping the unwanted clone of bff to kill him
>die by the other clone of bff that you even tried to help as a kid.
he's kinda pathetic
nothing he ever did was meaningfull, his whole life was just "I CANT HAVE NICE THINGS"
poor guy got dealt the worst hand
The thing that ruins this game more than anything else is the fucking spawn selection. What the fuck were they thinking with that shit? I mean, everything about this game sucks dicks of various sizes, but holy shit, everything just ends up centered around one of the selectable spawn points and turns into a clusterfuck.
Knock someone out? Two of his buddies just spawned to fuck your face.
I can't even imagine what the fuck they were thinking when they designed this. Did they even fucking playtest it?
I agree with that problem almost entirely until I pick a spawn that's basically on the other side of the map and far away from attackers then continue to sneak without stealthcamo.
The spawn on buddy needs to be more consistent, I've had one person spawn on his buddy 3 times before he eventually got me. Yet I can't spawn on mine more than once.
Also the labeling of enemy spawns is shit, the only one shown is HQ.
>how does knowing exactly where enemies are help you defend/attack them and help defend/attack points
Nick. this is the real me, sorry brah
>enemy team pushing our spawns
>respawn literally right behind one guy
>stun him and fulton him
>like 4 guys in front of me shooting at my teammates
>nobody is paying attention to the fulton
But yeah, this spawning system is a fucking joke. goddammit konami
Agreed, something really needs to be done about the spawning system.
I think the buddy system should be straight up removed. I knocked someone out earlier, and while placing the fulton his buddy spawned on top of him and killed me during his invulnerability frames. How the fuck did console peasants put up with this
Nope, the gear is what it is.
You get a special class specific suit for Ascension and more colors for that suit with additional Ascensions.
Enforcer gets the Battle Dress from MGSV, Infiltrator gets the Sneaking Suit from MGSV and Scout gets a Ghillie Suit.
fuck off before you get banned for avatarfagging you fucking cancers, the retards on console got permabanned, you will too
>Anti-Joost fags so jealous of the Joostfags being so handsome, intelligent, charming, fit, popular and successful in life that they have to take pictures like this to try and make them look bad
pretty pathetic tbqh, but you'd come to expect that from the smelly, obese, repulsive, dumb, lonely and poor subhumans
It's fun to play infiltrator slow, almost feels like MGS.
Then, there's the bullying with CQC 3.
>Find a guy with 1 or no bounty
>Steal his gun
>Fulton him in full view of enemy team
>He gets shot down and instantly goes for his gun
>Kill him with his own gun
That shit will never get old.
Just like how Olga in MGS2 when telling Raiden about disguising himself to access the Shell 1 core and meet Ames only referred to the core guards' carbines as "AKs" whereas Raiden would specify "AN-94" when talking about their rifles.
They're adding new hats every week.
All the wacky hats were added week by week to the console versions and one week they added the swimsuits, none of that stuff was there at launch.
So they're adding more gear as time goes on but the only non-hat gear that they've added so far is the swimsuits.
dude, you can lay down supressing fire without those just by presssing the trigger every 0,5 secs.
your spread will be nonexistant, you will still be shooting fast enough so they can't retaliate and you can use the empty mod slot for sights.
I got like three assistsand 2 kills in 10 seconds just by doing that.
Even if it's not fitting for the era, I want something that's not over the top. Why can't I wear the gear the Soviets and the PMCs were wearing in singleplayer? They looked vaguely like regular soldiers and not ridiculous fucking super operators so sugoi
It looked like the 80s. None of the weapons besides the wooden sniper had a scope. No lasers. Big ass flashlights. FAL carbine. Monocular NVG. It was all 80's. The only thing that didn't fit was the sneaking suit.
It's not, the term is warped these days.
Companies release a "beta" when in actual fact it's simply a demo. Calling it "beta" has several positives:
1) Lets players feel more involved in the development:
>you, yes you, can help us develop our game! We'll take your feedback on board, and build the game that you want to play!
Reality, literally bullshit, never happens, but it makes players feel more invested and warms feelings towards "inclusive" developer and publisher
2) flaws are forgivable and defended by chunk of fanbase because "it's not finished yet". Beta
"Beta" is no more than a marketing buzzword for the majority of "betas" these days. Especially "AAA" ones. These companies are too terrified to release a real beta (i.e. a bugfest requiring lots of breaking and fixing) so they polish a demo as much as they can and only CALL it a "beta". It got so bad "beta" lost its impact so they started releasing "alphas" and then after those became passé they were replaced by fucking "pre-alphas"! But it's all exactly the bastard same. The definitions of these terms in development are already set in stone by the way, go read wiki page on the "software release life cycle" for info.
Indie devs are much more likely to release a real beta.
Interestingly enough, when the publishers and dev management do release a real beta and not a marketing beta, sometimes they think they can get away with hiring fewer professional QA testers, because they're thick fucks.
>They looked vaguely like regular soldiers and not ridiculous fucking super operators so sugoi
Because your MGO characters are Diamond Dog operatives and Venom and Miller have a certain aesthetic they're going for.
I used to play exclusively Enforcer and absolutely HATED Infiltrator, but I played my infil for a couple hours ago and now I love her. got the Stealth+ upgrade and unlocked suppressors on all my guns so I'm constantly wrecking shit now
the singleplayer character customization is the same system as the online customization
It's just missing A LOT of options that are in the singleplayer customization. Five haircuts for girls? Come the fuck on Konami
>this is yet to be removed
Good to see the mods still got it
>grade 7 riot smg
>only improvement is its suppressor is now medium durability
>goes from requiring only 4000 GMP to requiring 29750 GMP and 150 Digitalis
>can't swap suppressor onto grade 5 riot smg to save costs
Fuck you Konami.
Yeah but you're a lone operative.
Taking on contracts? I don't know what the gameplay of MGO is doing to help out Diamond Dogs but the story is supposed to be that you're working for them but you have your own little base in Jade Forest for some reason.
And just who earned a reputation as a Soviet interrogator in the Afghanistan invasion? So feared he was given the nickname Shalashaska?
Kaz had a mask on him probably from the moment they caught him. He's a valuable target, as an American in a combat zone the US wasn't officially involved in. The Soviets want what he knows, and they want him for potential leverage. One or two of their senior officers would handle the questioning. But the torture? Who would the Soviet high command task with inflicting pain enough to turncoat this seasoned mercenary? Who could they trust? Only their best, of course.
Ocelot tortured Kaz. Potentially crippled him. Kaz never knew. Soviet officers asked the questions, Ocelot did the torturing when Kaz didn't answer. Just like he does for Kaz in Mother Base against Huey.
Ever the snake, Ocelot was. The quadruple-crossing master spy.
I bet when Ocelot tracked Kaz down before Shadow Moses, when he had Kaz on his knee under the barrel of his SAA, he made sure to tell Kaz this tiny little tidbit before he blew his head apart.
Once they're done giving us all the camo fatigues I'm willing to bet those will come next.
The headgear option at present is incredibly barebones, and I bet they plan to add more.
Why would he cripple him though? It doesnt seem this effective as a metod to get information, unless he had some personnel affairs with Kaz which is unlikely before the "split" after the man who sold the world

>fulton punch enemy
>does fulton punch animation
>he suddenly teleports behind me
i'm sick of these fucking hackers holy shit what a fucking awful game this is
>how come MGO doesn't use our custom emblem
Probably will soon. When custom shirts come, I can't see any reason they wouldn't port the emblem maker over to make them.
>why is the MGO stuff covered in Diamond Dogs logos
Reusing assets since they're lazy. Like holy fuck are KojiPro LA lazy.
>have 3 years to make online mode
>produce an unbalanced piece of shit
>5 maps (4 of which just modified single player areas)
>3 modes, 2 of which are bad
>barely any outfits and items
Those incompetent fucks deserved to lose their jobs.
Journalists were shown a singleplayer level with a dam in it before the game came out. You could scale the dam and stuff. No dams are in the main game, so we assume it got cut.
If you look at your Afghanistan map, you'll see a huge blob of nothing behind the power plant. That is supposedly where the dam was. Maybe some guys could noclip there and see something.
Why do some mics say "Trial" all the time?
Is that something from MGO or the actual mics that nobody bothered telling them about?
>those people who leave their mic on and say nothing but broadcast their fucking clicking and grunting to everyone
Nah, they're bad, but not this bad. Dark Souls shitty netcode is at least consistent enough for you to be able to parry online when you get used to it.
MGO3 netcode is just a fucking free-for-all.
Did they slim down the Babby dress?
This bullshit again. Mission 6 fits the description perfectly.
>One mission has you scale a dam while you search for a Mujahideen hideout
This is Mission 6. The road between the relay base and Smasei Fort is a sand dam.
and this is the male version
There was no dam in that mission. Just a bridge that you don't even climb. You idiots must live in some third world country. You have no idea what a dam looks like.
>finally find a good game for once with cool people
>contact flips up into my eyelid for the first time ever in 5 years of having contacts
>can't see shit
>forced to abandon
>immediately back into shitty lagfest games with level 400000000000000000000000000000 infiltrators pulling the most advanced maneuvers possible while my team sits around scratching their asses
What are some exploits for this piece of shit? I'm already tired of farming for cosmetics.
That a road you moron. There's not even a reservoir (empty or full) that could classify it as a dam. I was driven on those kinds of roads all the time when I was on vacation in the alps.
I'm not totally sold on laser surgery yet and glasses are for fucking shit pisspants dork losers. I'd rather sell my soul to Satan and immediately die than have those shitty piss baby nerd indicators on my beautiful face.
It's enough like a dam for a journalist to write it. You retards hear about mission 51 and then assume they went on a bloodthirsty rampage to cut everything from the game. It's a mission where you scale a "dam" to find a Mujaheddin hideout. The version of the game they played is near identical to the final one, and at least one of the journalists that played the game at that event would have come forward and said it was cut, especially if they recognized the area in MGO.
You don't even scale that road, you just drive on it. As for why journalists aren't saying anything know, that's probably because they're the same journos who gave the game a 10/10 without actually finishing it.
I'm still waiting for dorito pope to say more about the camp omega singleplayer mission he got to try.
>tfw you land a perfect running sleep headshot in C&D
>Marking targets from a distance and telling your mortar bro where to hit
>Winning the game with points by baiting in the enemy team and killing them off one by one
Cloak and Dagger is literally the best game mode.
I just don't get how Kojima LA fucked the pooch so badly.
On all levels really, customization, emblems, maps, etc. What the fuck did they do for 2 years?
Like there was a lot of boo hoo about when they got fired but man, seems pretty fucking justified to me.
the water is non existent.
once you get under it it just dissapears
>You only get two mines
>They aren't a one-hit kill
>In a game with respawning health
>Hand grenades that you can throw at an active attacker ARE one hit kills
What's the fucking point?
Yeah I'll bet she needs cover. Probably has everyone on the map gunning for her.
>Laying down multiple mines will not kill the victim because they become invincible after the first mine explodes
why the fuck are teams so imbalanced
this faggot called alexander who was a level 24 scout yesterday is now on a level 20 enforcer
MGO2 wasn't perfect, but god damn, I'm getting genuinely sad thinking about it.
>the only friend I wanted to play MGO with had her save corrupted and decided to just say "fuck it" to the entire game
I guess that's it for me, maybe if they fix the servers then i'll keep playing, but for now it's too laggy to play for more than an hour
I wanted to buddy up in the game, they have wormholes that recharge with the power of friendship
Look at this fucking shit.
This is a tactical ballet of strategy, honed timing, and exacting precision. MGO2 was so mechanically deep and diverse that whole unofficial, user-created modes emerged around mastering its various mechanical subsets. There's more depth of strategy and eye-hand coordination required just to use a knife skillfully in MGO2 than there is in all of MGO3.
>You will never play a SWAT/Hostage server ever again
Feels bad man.
Speak for yourself. Me and my friend decided if MGO3 was shit we would buy some used PS3's and get on the private MGO2 servers.
The point it is that it represents the amount of skill and technique that's possible to employ in just one of a huge multiplicity of mechanics, modes, and playstyles. The point is that the amount of nuance and strategy in JUST the knife mechanics alone in MGO2 totally dwarfs the entire game of MGO3.
>Implying it wont be better than this
I wouldn't even care if it was just me and my buddies playing 3v3.
What personal changes would you guys make to mgo 3?
If i could I would:
Increase spread and recoil on automatic weapons, right now with a foregrip and muzzle break they are too accurate, you get killed extremely quickly by these
Remove auto-aim, or at least on pc
Get rid of classes, everything unlockable with one character
Make sound visibility on radar tied to a skill
Increase skill slots to 5
I think thats about it.
I dunno, why doesn't it have fucking SNE or RES?
Why does it have a fucking neutered version of BASE with only 3 bases that don't even make use of the larger maps?
Why is it such a gigantic pile of shit in every regard?
I'd also want more weapon customization since the system is right there, bring back as many weapons from singleplayer as possible even if it's only cosmetic. Same with clothing options. Add in a proper server browser and text chat for PC, and also try and slow the game down a bit so it's slightly less COD-y.
It's lazy, uninspired, ill-conceived garbage all the way to the core. Almost every mechanic, feature, and creative decision is fundamentally flawed in some or a variety of ways. There's no amount of things you could change to make it a good game without making it totally unrecognizable.
>let us switch class whenever we want
That's not really how this shit usually works.
I wouldn't expect, nor want that.
That said, I would like to have 6 character slots, so I can have one for each gender of each class, and the ability to alter my character's appearance after the initial creation.
>That said, I would like to have 6 character slots, so I can have one for each gender of each class, and the ability to alter my character's appearance after the initial creation.
why the fuck is this not already a thing, christ
oh and i would also reduce running speed a bit.
those are just easy kills
yea thats pretty annoying
If you run around while shooting an lmg maybe
Cos he's a dick, and he gets off to it. Irony when later he gets his hand chopped off by Gray Fox, turns out he liked it.
Whatever, headcanon is immune to facts. OcelotxxKaz torture porn for lyfe
Shota Mantis is cute! Would you give him a piggy back ride? I sure as hell would.
You for got Bundle Colors for 3000GP
>Reds = 3000GP
>Blues = 3000GP
Increase breast physics.
Blood trails for a duration
>New Level for NVG
>Can see Footprints for a Duration
Infiltrator's Sneaking Suit
>Scrambler: No mark on enemy radar/increase in weight
>team is 20-12
>mfw I purposefuly fulton my +11 away
Man, the SOP system was the best, most intelligently integrated, elegantly designed buddy-link/wall-hack mechanic ever put in a videogame. Scanning -- and how it integrated with cqc -- offered a much better kind of balance than marking. The information was clear and obtrusive yet omnipresent and it added yet another layer of depth to the other mechanical interactions.
I would scrap everything and release an enhanced version of MGO2 as a standalone title.
But if my only option was to take MGO3 as it is and change it, let's see...
>Add a fuck ton of more detailed host options when creating a game
>Get rid of classes, allow full customization
>You can only spawn at your team's base, both bases are as far across the map as possible
>Bring back every mode from MGO1/2
>Remove Walker Gears
>OSP of stronk weapons like rocket launchers, how it was in MGO1
>More levels, making better use of single player resources
>You only have one character but can edit their looks at any time
>Can do free-play in any level, and you see other players
>FUCKING PUSH TO TALK
God damn, I could probably write a fucking book how I would change the game, and it would spill over into how I would have fixed single player as well.
Ah I remember back when MGO launched on console and everyone found walker gears impossible to deal with and now laugh at them like a joke if they manage to be lucky enough to find a match with them even enabled
of course i would
gotta love that trash bag baby
That was also in MGO2.
And they actually did comment on why they removed that. Konami LA, I mean.
They didn't want people to troll each other. That's also why there's no text chat.
he needs to start taking some fucking notes on how to turn this MGO alpha into an actual beta
>pick up guy
>he wakes up
>bashes my head in
oh man, this 12 year old told me he fucked my mother, what a troll
MGG is so cool, we have two threads...
>unironically linking to /egg/
go back to reddit
>That thing ou could do when you crawled to a ledge and pressed triangle and you would flippity flop into a hanging position
Fuuuck man, all they had to do was remove the i-frames and it would have been perfect
the more I sit here looking at my vanilla assault rifles while there's tons of pieces you can use in single player to make a franken gun the more I get depressed.
like the assets are already there, was 2 years not long enough? what the fuck
Happens to me too, I think it's just matchmaking choosing levels close to you.
I'm about level 17 and i've never seen any level 30's or level 4's in my games.
I also only see a few of the same people too since they're my level.
the guys on pc have a long way to go but trust me.
when you get to a point of using it as your main weapon, the game becomes a drug, it will destroy you but its all you need from the game
I mean, I'm pretty fucking stupid. I have no idea the time, effort or talent it takes to involve importing, save or recreating assets / coding for a game but they had awhile. A really long time.
We all like gun customization right? How did this idea not come up *once in two years?
>playing on that Dam map
>some guy with mic cheering the entire team on
>i'm by disc B near the metal gate and AA gun
>see some guy in all gold running down by the bridge
>snipe with and tranq him
>guy on mic says "nice shot anon"
man i love these guys
Rush just puts up invisible walls to make the map smaller. Makes Bounty Hunter and Comm Control even more hectic and annoying.
That said, I think it works wonders for Cloak and Dagger, and have a lot more fun on Rush mode for that than regular mode.
