Friendly reminder that Solaswives are forever banned and so are their buddies magister hambeasts
There's Valen and some black nigga for grills
If that means he'll get gutted like a pig by a cute girl while he pisses his pants from terror I'm all for it
That absolutely will not happen.
More like it's going to end with Vhenan kissing him as she stabs him right through the heart.
Just like he's always wanted.
But what if there is no Vhenan?
I am curious to see the difference between a quiz that butts heads with him by strengthening the inquisition and disbanding it. I'm shamelessly hoping for a
>YOU BECAME THE ONE THING I WISHED NEVER TO SEE ABLOOBLOO
drama dialogue from Solas
That's exactly what it means.
I can't decide which one would better, seeing Morrigan kill him or killing him yourself
It's all good as long as he's dead. Not like Bioware can come up with a character as entertaining as Phili anyway desu senpai.
You will have mixed feelings about DA:I
But probably like it.
I mean you have endured the pile of shit that is DA2, nothing can be worse than that. DA:I is alright.
DAO > DAI >>> DA2
I mean, I didn't hate DA2, I was actually left with a feeling of "Well, was that it?" when I hit the rather abrupt ending, but it was definitely playable and managed to keep my attention right until the end, but I felt like I wanted so much more from it. Would DA:I be that "more" I was looking for?
I remember turning it off after finishing it and playing Kingdoms of Amalur instead.
The development of Solas' character is central to Dragon Age. From the beginning, Solas possesses a sense of his self-worth and dignity, a commitment to justice and principle, a trust in God, and a passionate disposition. His integrity is continually tested over the course of the game, and Solas must learn to balance the frequently conflicting aspects of himself so as to find contentment.
Despite his stern manner and not particularly handsome appearance, Solas wins /dag/’s heart, because she feels they are kindred spirits, and because he is the first person in the game to offer the Inquisitor lasting love and a real home. Although Solas is Lavellan’s social and economic superior, and although men were widely considered to be naturally superior to women in the Dragon Age period, Lavellan is Solas’s intellectual equal. Moreover, after their marriage is interrupted by the disclosure that Solas is actually Fen'Harel, Lavellan is proven to be Solas’s moral superior.
>What does it mean?
Leave the Hinterlands?
The game has a dozen zones you can visit and do side quests which are mostly uninteresting fetch quests that are barerly relevant to the main story.
"Hinterlands" is the first zone the game throws you into, if you linger too much in these zones you will lose interest.
Unless you are a completionist of course.
The first option. She's especially pretty when she's killing elves.

Trips: Poke out an eye with a screwdriver
Quads: Write Gaider a letter
Shepard - Hawke: A no-brainer
Liara - Bethany: Would have made good Merrill but makes better Bethany
Richard Jenkins - Carver: I think they mirror each other a bit at least since most playthroughs I was warrior.
Kaidan - Anders: While he could be a good carver he's a better anders
Ashley - Aveline: As I said, could be good bethany but she is so fitting as Aveline
Zaeed - Varric: Originally had Grunt here and Zaeed as Oghren but dem facking krogans are hard as shit to mod to more humanoid forms, still it turned out well with Zaeed.
Tali'Zorah - Merrill: Liara could have been as Merrill as well but Talifit better
Jack - Fenris: Brooders in arms
Miranda - Isabela: The "assets" of Miranda and Isabela is always welcome in the team
Kelly Chambers - Tallis: Not sure why, they are somewhat similare in facial structures.
Jacob - Sebastian: I almost feel bad for making jacob as sebastian, despite not liking jacob at all I hate Sebastian.

What was your favorite dlc /dag/?
I just finished the Descent, and it was really fun. Though the Guardian boss fight was a complete shitshow and I only beat it because of Blackwall's ungodly tankiness. That and the Whirlwind of Steel ability to pull things toward you can actually move the Guardian's pieces around.
I want to like Dragon Age, but it's kind of hard to do that when Dragon Age: Origins bullshits me with impossible battles at the beginning of the game while spewing nonsense about socialism and social justice at me. Which origin story and race/class combination gives me the least bullshit on either part?
>can't even get through the prologues
>being this much of a casual
Maybe it's just not for you, try Sims Medieval or something
Just because he played Thrandruil doesn't mean he can play Solas.
He has the wrong physique, he played royalty not something mystical and ancient, he doesn't look wise, and his voice would never fit.
Don't defile Lee Pace and Solas like this
Careful not to get lost on your way to /co/blr
What difficulty are you playing on?
I'm doing normal difficulty as a mage. I used death magic at the beginning so I had an ability that leeched life. I got tons of potions at the beginning of the game too. Also enemies died really easily as i put all ALL of my points in magic before anything else.
And for the whole "socialism" thing, I didn't see any of that. Was just doing my own thing and telling everyone smugly to fuck off.
If terrorists killed all western game developers what Jap dev would you want to make a Dragon Age game?
This >>128460657 desu, tanking is really fun in Inquisiton and the AI sucks at everything that isn't ranged DPS and I ended up manually controlling Cass/Blackwall more than my inquisitor
Lee Pace didn't even want them to remove a single hair from his eyebrows for The Hobbit.
He's not cut out for it. He's played royalty more than once.
From his pool of performances there is someone better to play Solas who could also capture Solas' emotions well.
>their faces are practically identical
>Completely different eyes+forehead region
>Very different nose
>Different cheeks and cheekbones
They aren't. They just both have triangle face shapes
How can anybody refute this. It's 100% correct. They look nothing alive. Cumberquatch looks more like Solas than Pace and he doesn't even have the chin.
Found our Solas
He's got the chin and smile
>not giving daggers to Lel
Little Howe is great. Made me appreciate archers just a little bit more, too.
He's just not as great as Lel and Sigrun.
This is clearly going to be Solas whether we like it or not
He's not that attractive 2bh
How are you getting Solas out of this?
I wouldn't say that the ranged AI is great either. Mages are braindead and don't try to move away from melee enemies in their face, while Rogues at least have to mind to go into to stealth to break aggro. But neither of them are able to use their evasive skills on their own.

I can see where you're coming from with her sounding like she's still learning English, but I'm not worldly enough to pinpoint where the accent could be from real or not. It just flowed nicely.
You're not worth saving, you lazy, worthless fence-sitting bitch. You deserved to die for being far too up your cunt to actually do anything. Everything that happened in Kirkwall could have been prevented had you stepped in earlier and done your job.
>Only two female waifu options for human male characters
>both the girls are human, not even a fucking elf to romance, much less one of those giant muscle girls with horns that I want so badly
What the fuck dudes?
Are there mods to add a horn girl romance option?
>lore-inaccurate modern day tuxedo

He's wearing underwear...
just play dragons dogma lmeo
You're right, simple homoeroticism is best
Straight men get the third best waifu in the series and they still complain because she's not an 8 foot tall bodybuilder with horns and a female cock.
I don't like her, she isn't moe.
She is just annoying. If she were a big muscle 8ft tall girl she'd be moe.
The other girl that looks like a poo in the loo is also moe.
Morrigan was moe.
This girl with the shield and shit? Not moe.
>she isn't moe
>entire romance is about how she secretly loves romance and cute things
Get the fuck out of here.
>chicks and fags get Iron Bull safeword dom romance
>straight guys and lesbians cant get Iron Bulless safe word femdom romance
>No one can romance Vivienne in any way
This thread needs some testosterone.
Is Solas the only interesting romance in DAI? I've tried Josephine as well but all she does is talk a lot and it's really fucking boring
>tells me that I'm a fag that wants it up the ass
>tell him no
>tells me I'm wrong
>can't tell him no again without ending the relationship
This is rape mentality. He is the WORST romance in the series.
It's act 1 Hawke.
>she will never lose her lover, her remaining sibling and friends in Exalted March
>she will never be the protagonist of DAI
>she will never be utterly broken and unwilling to love anyone ever again
>she will never sarcastically make comments about wanting to commit suicide all the time
>she will never be the same
just got inquisition. Do i romance Cassandra, Cullen or Solas
Cullen romance is a shit. Go Cass if male, go Solas if female elf.
How are they not? Their romances also follow the same pattern in the beginning, except that Cullen's writer didn't forget to write an ending to his romance both in the base game and in Trespasser
Cass or Solas, Cullen isn't bad, just really boring.
Cass has fun dialogue and is pretty endearing as a romance option, and Solas's route has strong ties to the main plot, which makes it feel a little more important/meaningful.
He's just kind of boring, it's not like the whole "he lied to you" thing is a deal-breaker, considering how many girls love Solas, but it just generally feels like the writers just didn't do anything to make his story more endearing or interesting. Events just unfold without you really caring about them, Blackwall talks about wanting to do good, helping people, then he leaves and you ((in most cases)) bail him out of jail and everything's fine. It may just be me, but the writers and/or the guy voicing Blackwall himself just feel like they didn't put any effort in to make me care about the character.
> Didn't ask you
> Why do women hate Blackwall
> Because hes too boring and a liar
Where does it say or imply "no replies allowed"?
And anyway, just stating answer to the first comment, with the second added in because 'he's a liar' bit. No need to get pissy.
She's got a hard beauty to her imo, despite having a bit of a lizard face, in general she's just got a lot of good angles going on her face, along with having sharp eyes, it suits her pretty well, depending on her expression.
Only thing I really dislike is how wide her mouth is, just makes her look weird.
>Walk in on Cass reading romance novels
>Cass asks you to get her the next book
>Cullen asks you to help him withdraw from drugs
>Walk in on Cullen having withdrawal rage and he throws blue meth at your face
>Cass asks you if you're into her
>You ask Cullen if he wanna fug
>Take Cassandra innawoods, read pottery, and fug
>Cullen fucks you on a desk
>Cullen fucks you in a rundown castle then he has withdraw rage and kicks you out
>Cullen does or doesn't dump you if he's on drugs
>Cullen takes you on a romantic swamp date when he's clean
>Marry Cullen and live in a cottage with a mabari with a bunch of templar children
He threw it in a rage, but I don't think he was expecting you to pop in right then. Maybe I'm wrong.
Don't you have to choose whether or not to keep him on the lyrium long before you complete the romance with the desk sex? Then he breaks up with you because he's focusing on lyrium shit and being a behaved soldier?
Going to be real honest with you here. If two people have virtually the same flaws in their history, but I'm more attracted to one than the other.. I'm going to go for that one.
I was just trying to simplify if, but I'll take withdrawals from required meds in the line of duty over self hatred and history of being a big partier (and child/animal murderer.)
Hello everyone! Just started playing Inquisition for the first time a few days ago. Haven't gotten too far yet so I will probably stay out of this thread for fear of spoilers but I had a quick question:
I just acquired Vivienne and I was wondering if there was a canon type of magic she uses (between fire, lightning and frost). I know everyone gets specializations or whatever later, but I don't want to level her up in fire magic if some other character comes down the line who's already a master at it. If there is no canon answer, which path do you suggest?
I know, I REALLY shouldn't be so autistic about it, especially because you can put the skill points into anything really. I was like this with the other two games as well for some reason, only giving people points into what I thought their focus should be.
Something about Dragon Age just brings out my OCD I guess
>solaswives will never know this satisfaction
Get a load of this fagget
is dawn of the seeker any good/worth watching?
if so, in English or Japanese?
DA2 had it so that once you get enough approval/dissaproval with a character you get a bonus special ability, if I remember correctly they were still battle stat bonuses, but usually only for that character.
There were some exceptions, I think Isabella's approval buff was a full party thing.
If you like delicious legs
Ugly warden, but Leliana looks cute with this hair
>or will it, since the inquisition was already garbage?
I'm not sure about the writing without Gaider there, but I'm really hoping the gameplay improves since it won't be a scrapped MMO
I wonder if the DA4 protag will be purple, cyan or yellow.
>the demon doesn't have any
Fucking spirit of disappointment.
Why deal with demons if they can't provide you with delicious virgins?
Josie is hence the best waifu because she is never deflowered
>Am I just jaded and wanting DA:O?
You're just Jaded. I enjoyed it for what it was. I really couldn't complain much, unless you started bringing in things it should have had in it, rather than things it shouldn't have had.
combat was shit tho
Luckily I burned its off-spring before I put down the camembert. Whew.
>purring Alix Wilton Regan (~12:45)

>100 hours in Inquisition

Literal retardation is not something to brag about
>I caaaan't say if I'm working on another bioware games
>But in general I'm working on three vg titles atm
>Inquisitor: So you're basically a templar?
>Cassandra: No, I'm a seeker. Our abilities are quite different
>Cassandra and every other companion who shares the Inquisitor's specialization is just a worse version of the Inquisitor, notably so for Varric
Tell me why you didn't like personal specializations again?
>mark of the rift
A lot of focus abilities are better than the mark anyway.
Dorfs got the only perk worth mentioning. How many
baseddorf Inquisitors are there?
The Inquisitor has racial perks and an ability that companions of the same specialization do not therefore they are just inferior clones. How are you not following this?
>A lot of focus abilities are better than the mark anyway
Thousand Arrows, Flask of Lightning, and maybe Haste seem comparable. Everything else is just very situational or just bad.
>tfw keep mark of the rift to use on deepstalker mobs
I'm mostly wondering because I'm vaguely interested in playing B2S for soap opera husbando shenanigans as Ellen Page
If it gets to Indigo Prophecy levels of hilarity then that'll be money decently spent, Heavy Rain was too 'real' for me minus matrix cop
Sure, you're technically right. I just don't see how not having 10% defense and a decent focus ability makes them that much worse.
I agree on unique specializations for companions though, not having those is the bigger issue.
>have to get Arl Eamon to help for the darkspawn
>go searching for ashes
>being sten because needed health sponges
>this motherfucker has the audacity to stop me and tell me what I'm doing is stupid
>wants to run into darkspawn and die
Why The fuck didn't I kill this qunari fuck again?
A couple of scenes are actually really good thanks to the acting. The ending I got was actually (surprisingly) emotional. And it gets REAL dumb at parts. Not zombie sex dumb, but still.
>tfw you will never see Josie's lovely brown areolas
We should make /dag/ pawns and help each other out on PC
Cass had the best romance, who doesn't love seeing a strong in charge and sort of icy woman reveal that shes actually pretty sensitive and romantic, that shit was great.
Also her accent is awesome, its like she recently learned english which is cute as fuck.
Cassfu is best romance, and best girl hands down.
She has a strong warrior woman beauty to her, shes seen some shit, shes mature, shes scarred
that feel when your inquisitor is spending time with his waifu but at the back of his head he remembers that he's still going to have to put down his former friend to protect his waifu.
looks like this exchange student from Spain that I had a crush on in highschool.
>implying Solas is going to be the big bad
>when Bioware's track record of villains consists of moustache-twirling faggots who are the evilest of evilies doing evil
doubt.jpg, he's going to be pitted as the tragic revolutionary.
I wouldn't be against it, but on a dramatic level I like the idea of having to regretfully fight your friend. Its a nice change of pace from your average "big bad mr. evil Im totally evil always all the time evil". It'd give us the oppurtunity to have some truly depressing/sad dialogue and choices.
It'd be something new at least, I think the only time I was able to do that was in one of the deus ex games and new vegas.
I almost hope that the big bad *is* Solas for this reason. Then we could legit talk him down and have it factor into the end world state without worrying about retconning. It would be an actual example of C&C.
Though I doubt we'll be able to talk him down as much as compromise about how to give Thedas the greendick, just the tip or full sodomy
Honestly she became divine entirely be accident in my game. I literally told her not to do it and kept telling anyone else that listened to do it but she still ended up divine. Personally I think shes the best choice, but I rp'd my character as sort of a normal guy who isn't really involved in politics.
Found the Dalish knife ear. The World needs the Chantry! With the Chantry, this is possible.
