M4A4 "Howl" is a skin that is no longer dropped because it has stolen artwork on it. There's a sticker with the same design with the same problem. Because of this, they are finite in supply. Stickers are in a weird spot because once they're applied, they're used and gone. Finite supply means high price. The guy in the game I was in said he bought the sticker for $2 a long time ago and slapped on a lame skin without thinking about it. That gun is (probably) worth about $200 if he were to trade or sell it now.
Knives are expensive because they're rare case drops. There is no in-game store to buy them from. Either open cases or buy one from the market.

yeah the weird part is that a lot of the gameplay is being part of a team, and in some ways players will play better at high ranks than at low ones
for example I actually frag better at global than I do around mge to le, because at global I can count on my team to hold relevant angles and push in a timely manner as well as smoke
at mge I can out aim everybody, but I actually struggle to close games because the way I have to play isn't what I'm used to. if my teammate is watching mid or something its not like I can ignore the angle he's watching and focus on something else, I still have to hold mid and also the other area because so often the person watching it will simply let an enemy through by playing it wrong or fucking up
the same goes for pushing on to a site, at global I know that once the smokes go down and people start flashing and pushing I can count on at least 1 or 2 teammates to be pushing with me and crossfiring angles, but at mge there might be a full execute's worth of smokes down and my entire team will be hiding back on the t side of the map until the smokes clear then trickling in 1 by 1
