I have a 144hz monitor but when I cut Vsync on it locks it to 60 fps instead of 144, and cutting on the variable framerate it doesn't do anything. Are there any fixes?
I tried changing the "maxsmoothedframerate" in my documents but it didn't do anything before anyone suggests that.

As Patriarch seems to have a much higher dying ratio than Hans we buffed his melee attack damage by 125%, one in the pipe launch time is reduced by half.

I find it a bit stupid how Demo is one of three perks without a reload speed increase when every single one of its weapons reloads after every shot. They should just combine Reactive Armor with Explosive Resistance and put Tactical Reload on the same tier.
Also, they need to fix Door Trap's stun causing zeds to slide around during the animation.

Same as before. Just abuse the splash damage while clicking once every half-second or so. You won't get the insane damage like before, but you'll still have better ammo efficiency.

Related to this thread. I thought that they had reached perfection for cartoon and anime games at this time. Sadly they stopped using this artstyle for DBZ games and went on to more realistic-looking games. It was perfect the way it was before, it actually looked like the anime.

Nightvision is fucking useless and now that every class has a chest-mounted flashlight, it serves literally no point.
There is virtually no situation where I would choose nightvision over a flashlight in this game.

Since fire resist is off the charts at high Firebug levels, catching Husk fireballs or setting yourself on fire with the Flamethrower would be more of a blessing than a nuisance in some situations.

You can cancel the reload animation of dual pistols as soon as the first one is loaded.

so I already got berserker to level 25 and not long till Gunslinger is also at 25. What's the next perk you would recommend. I liked both the playstyle of zerker and gunslinger so I didn't have much problem leveling them.

pulv is broken, it does a base damage and explosive damage when it is loaded, it works like it is supposed to in solo, but in multiplayer the base damage component is lost, so your supposed to hit fp for 800 damage (195+400*1.5) but you deal only 600 damage when it is loaded

I get why this was a thing back in KF1 (at least I'm pretty sure KF1 also had that mechanic) since zeds didn't have as much HP back then, but with the awful bullet sponges we have in KF2, it feels quite stupid to still have that.
Medics need those sort of boosts considering their garbage damage output, if they moved at normal speed and had same armour privileges as others, you can guarantee nobody would play it/they would go down quick.
If anything, slingers shouldn't have that big of movement speed

i feel the other way around, zeds have less health in kf2 and you can decap clots in 2 9mm headshot on 6p HoE. in kf1 it took 4

Because camping isn't the only strategy.
Kiting is also a good strat.
Plus it meant you could get lost/getting to the trader on time and back to your original spot was something of importance.

It really is. Balance is horrible, updates are painfully slow. The only saving grace is the well executed gameplay (and pretty graphics if you're into that), but the awful balance on higher difficulties really takes away from it.

Anon, nobody gets half exp for using offperk weapons unless you're using multiplie perk weapons to kill 1 zed. In this case you get xp/amount of perks which weapons were used. You get full xp anyway, but it just split between perks. If one of them is 25 you don't get that xp though.
It should instagib but it can't when you've got 50% explosive resistance

I can't understate the effectiveness of shooting big zeds in the leg to stumble them just before they fuck someone up, so I'd counsel saving the ammo in your magazine for those crucial moments. An ounce of prevention is definitely worth a pound of cure in this case.
That said, you can also do a decent amount of damage with steady headshots, so if a big zed is wounded and the situation looks dire, doing what you can to put some bullets in their noggin can help a fair bit. This is especially helpful if the big zed has already killed someone and is doing their victory animation - a full magazine to the head while they stand in one spot will go a long way towards putting an end to their celebration.

One of the skills will be a 10% damage bonus so you can 5 headshot scrakes now

Patty is easier. I had plenty of wave 11s where we just absolute wrecked his shit without anyone dying and he got destroyed before he could regen once. He's less volatile in melee range (doesn't spam his attacks like Hans) and when he activates his rockets the entire team gets a few free seconds where he doesn't move and you can shoot at him and since the rockets are easy to dodge it becomes a detriment to his effectiveness as a boss. I also feel that it's easier to kite him since most of his melee aggro revolves around one concentrated attack which all have some form of windup and are easy to dodge.
I never defeated Hans before he went through all the 3 shield-stages. I'm not saying that he's super hard, both bosses get kind of trivialized with a good team, but Hans is definitely more challenging than Patty.

For the Dignity for the Dead one, your own corpse counts, so what you can do is get yourself surrounded, drop all your nades at the last second, and then when they nades go off they kill all the zeds feeding on your corpse.

If I spend an hour kiting him, all I get rewarded with is a fuckton of boredom and 1-2k perk XP. If I die and spend that hour doing another 7-10 waves instead, I end up having fun and getting 4-7k XP.
well to be fair I think brood checks this place out occasionally. He visits our chat room when the game updates and he plays with us or monitors out gameplay looking for bugs. He also comes and plays with us every now and then to help with us staying tuned.
but that's just fucking retarded. You don't have to grind, just play the game on the appropriate difficulty for your level. The game gets insanely boring if you have 25 at everything already and there is no point in focusing on a specific class.

well then play those classes on the appropriate difficulty you fucking cunt. The majority of servers that are actually populated are on hard difficulty for which a level 25 character is insanely overpowered anyway and you can't play that shit on HoE servers because they don't exist, it's just Super Perk Farmers 24/7. There is no point boosting or cheating through it.
That's cool and all, but I'm not going to do that. I'm not focusing on the grind. Slowly moving through the different difficulties with each perk as I unlock new skills and learn new strategies seems much more my pace than hitting 25 instantly and having to learn everything at once. I'd hate to be one of those people who are level 25 but clearly have no idea how to handle themselves.
Also, I'm not primarily worried about the XP numbers. Kiting Hans for such a long period seems like a waste of time, not just in terms of XP.

Some progress on the map I'm working on. Be aware it's in the very early stages so look quite shitty in places.
in Killing Floor 1 you have less mobility. Even a small group of clots can fuck you in the ass if you're not paying attention. In KF2 some of the zeds are faster than others and generally sprinting doesn't get you out of all situations but you can outsprint a lot of them if they get too close.
Slower more tactical movement. You need positioning, situational awareness, knowing what zeds to prioritize.
KF2 lets you outrun most of them outside of teleporting Sirens are the biggest Fuck You in the game when doing so.
So, the theme is "seaside temple"?
If so, that's pretty cool. If you haven't thought of it already, some pillars in the larger rooms could help with the aesthetic, as well as replacing the metal railing with stone.
Yeah the large room is meant to be a church. Everything is going to be really ornate looking when it's done.
