>What in the fuck is this
/indie/ is the general for all indie games, such as LISA, Yume Nikki, OFF, Bastion, Machinearium, Braid, Limbo, Axion Verge, Guacamele, The Desolate Hope, Sonic Dreams Collection, Doritoe Galaxy, etc.
Mobile or consoles, flash or unity, freeware or early acess. This place is a home for the indie game community and indie games that don't have a home. So be free to talk and share all your hidden gems, forgotten games and starving devs here.
>Can I talk about games that already have a general?
We mostly discuss games that are not popular enough for their own threads (since they have no other home in /vg/), however, all indie games are allowed. So talk about them if you want, but don't overdo it since you already have other generals for that.
>How can I contribute?
All we need right now is people to talk about their loved indies, so don't be afraid to post, bump and reply your fellow anons. Also we're looking for anons to make new pastebins/wikis/images and update the ones already made. Besides that, don't forget to play our !!!!GAME OF THE WEEK!!!! and other indie games to have lots of joy and to make more discussions to our general. And please give lots of feel, love, kind and nice to everyone.
>WHERE ARE THE GAMES
See our !!!!!GAME OF THE WEEK!!!!! in the next post.
Also this pastebin: http://pastebin.com/ZbG0JPSn
-Do more wikis/images/pastebins (Platformer, Shmups, First-Person, Mobile, Flash/Browser based, etc) and update them to not overwork the Compendium anon
-Create an easy way to know about upcoming games, ludums, jams and comps (aka make News more useful)
-Pray for the return of TIGDB

The !!!!GAME OF THE WEEK!!!! is...
>Cube World by Wollay
"Cube World, a voxel-based exploration RPG"
Download the game here: "LOST IN TIME"
Developer page: https://picroma.com/cubeworld
And remember: you are free (and encouraged) to talk about all indie games here, but make an effort to try the !!!!GAME OF THE WEEK!!!! so you can be like all our cool, popular and decent sized senpais
So.... I'm not the only one who thought this game was great, right?
Go ahead and do one man, they're pretty fun to make. I did one a while back.
Good for it. Limpneck looks pretty good.
I'm liking how it looks, although I'm going to wait for it to go on sale.
I think he just has long hair.
It's okay anon. We all make mistakes.
it's ok brah, you could just do a tombstone then mutant you or something, that's what a couple people did on >>127857503
You literally have to jump to beat the first sector, though i guess you meant jump AND shoot, which would be correct.
That's also my only gribe with Iji btw, i'm not much into coverbased combat, but that didn't stop me from beating the game thrice.
There are a couple of indie horror games I played a few years ago, and I've been thinking about them but I can't remember their titles or where to find them. Maybe someone here can read my mind.
In particular, I'm thinking of two titles. They're both horror-themed and they have really slick pixel art. I feel like they may have come from a TIGsource competition.
One is about a guy lost in the darkness undergound, and you have to follow a moving light and stay close to light sources or be lost forever. It turns out that
the light is from a giant angler fish.
The other is a platformer where the top half of the world is the land of the living, and the bottom half is the land of the dead, where everything is upside down. It's possible to cross between them by jumping through a place where there's no ground, and you'll slingshot to the other side. I remember the way that the colors and the music changed was well done.
Ring any bells?
By pressing the jump button.
I cant tell if you're being serious right now anon.
Batter never smiles, he's stoic as fuck, its just Dedan's interpertation of his form.
Godamit, I hate art that ain't faithfull to the source.
Is the game at a point where it isn't a struggle to find low-level bosses that won't flatten you if you don't grind? I remember it being okay besides the bosses all being ridiculously strong for their levels.
Not really, he just got pressured into releasing a build way earlier than he should have. He's working on this with maybe one other person, if not himself, and it's going hella slow.
I'm deeply sorry
Where is Jerome's house again, I'm not a very bright man and skipped his dialogue accidentally
Someone last thread asked for a drawing of Fish dressed as The Son.
I'd make a full body drawing with him holding the katana and the default pistol but I suck so bad at drawing hands I gave up.
Nevermind I'm dumb. Suits is an RPG Maker game so you can just access the music from the game folder. The one I'm talking about is called Treasonable Behavior or SinisterSuitsMe.
I might upload all of it to soundcloud later if anyone wants it or I'm not too lazy.
References? He straight up includes Mortis and the Batter in the game pal, I know he didn't copy the game, but going so far on the referential scale to make a slightly altered music name is a bit too far when mixed with everything else, even if just for me.
You deserve death anon.
Slow and painfull.
Think of early 2000s deviantart kids drawing everyone as emo or goth but add a pinch of progressivism so every shit piece of fanart you make becomes a political message and a device for social struggle
>tfw more fan art of your
I am currently playing Card City Nights from the same dev. It is very fun and charming so far, very accessible too.
Unfortunately the GOG version does not allow me to screenshot easy.
I rather buy throve.
Excellent game, exactly what I want from a """""""zelda-like""""""".
Sad the sequel does away with the 2d animation but hyped nontheless.
Oh yeah there also was that drama with the one update that fucked EVERYONES controller because of the shitty unity starter, they had to roll it back.
Get puush if you play in windowed, not sure if it also works for fullscreen with that.
Knytt Underground(probably play his other works before because underground is pretty much the all including gigantic magnum opus)
Saira(free on steam)
Just got to Area 3 of OFF.
Game is pretty decent so far. Not entirely sure what all is going on in the story, as it seems to just be a really goofy world, though I'm starting to put some things together.
Music is my favorite part of it so far, and the atmosphere of the world is a close second. I'm not quite as pulled in as I was with other games but it's definitely a fun play.
The game's pretty decent atmosphere wise but the gameplay's pretty shit. Just stay clear from some of the fangames, man
especially the likes of unknown and one..
Story should be fairly obvious past area 3, but glad to hear you are enjoying it.
Have ya visited the zones you already purified? You really should visit them, the library in particular.
I'm not sure if I'll be a big enough fan to check out fangames. I have that Suits RPG which I'll probably play but yeah beyond that, probably not...
After I beat Area 1 I went back and got rekt by the enemies so after I beat Area 3 I'm going to start cycling back through.
I'll probably post my gigantic note sheet in a pastebin when I'm done too just so everyone can see my thought process through all this.
The code isn't left open for the LISA game but by the magic of using a decryptor, you can access all the ins and outs to see how it all works
and then replicate it from scratch.
The code for OFF is open and that's one of the reasons why there are so many fangames.
Castila Maldita is free and pretty good.
Rogue Legacy is a platformer with some bullet hell elements and procedural generation.
Axiom Verge is retro looking metroidvania that is breddy gud.
There's also Mr. Bree+. See pic related.
Well that was interesting. Took me all of like 3 hours and is the kind of game that you wouldn't even have to pay for 5 years ago, but it was worth it in the end.
The CEO did nothing wrong
How skill intensive would you say Knytt Underground is? I'm playing chapter 3 at the moment and a lot of the time I can't tell if I'm supposed to be pulling off awkward jumps with the ball thing or if I'm supposed to just wander around the easier routes and circle back. I'm probably just shit at the game but a lot of the time I feel like I'm just playing it wrong.
There is a big variety in skill needed for specific jumps. The hardest are the ones for the greek alphabet symbols and the
hidden under the worldextra levels. Generally you have access to every location once you are in chapter 3 except for specifically shut down areas you have to circle around. The key is often to switch bewteen ball and human form during jumps
Just gotta find the right rooms in the areas and beat Sugar, she's weak as fuck to poison, like 600+ damage per tick, not a whole lotta damage either.
Shame its Zacahrie's gf. Kinda liked the dude, but gotta get the bat.
Oh no, I don't feel sorry for miss Nichons on the air getting the bat, I just feel bad for zacharie getting his gf purified.
Shits tough, especially when the world only has 1 cat, 1 elsen and himself left, except the guy he's been helping all along and then purifies his gf.
I actually don't mind him being black as much as mind him being a disgusting fucking slob
If he was at least true to his body type and dignified at least you could make the excuse that it's because OFF is in black and white
>Mfw just finished Lisa the Painful and Joyful for the first time
I wasn't ready for all those feels. Time to play Lisa the first since a steam buddy told me I should do that.
Welcome to our collective hell anon
Every media references stuff the artists experienced.
You think people just did drawings of biblical themes out of thin air?
Of course there is always a limit to how much pop culture reference you can shoove into a single piece of art.
I think there's a marked difference between a work of art subtly incorporating biblical themes and a video game making you fight a ghost called "Mortis" after meeting "Batter" and then proceeding to resolve a console war between two literal peasants and confront a character named Nik Beard who senses your presence through his "fedoria euphoria" and unsheathes his twin katanas to prove himself before his body pillow
It's okay Suits dev, I liked your game regardless, it was a palatable three hours
Eh, Suits is chock full of references, as full as you can be without literally copyright infringing, but that is fine because it doesn't really take itself seriously, it's one big spoof that reminded me of Kingdoms of Loathing somewhat. It wasn't really as jarring as say Undertale using twitter memes as a writing crutch because it never pretends to be anything but wacky and referential.
Thread is dead, nobody will know I'm Yado shitposting in disguise
>not even hammerhead could've saved me there
>Just finished Lisa the first
Well, this was definitely too deep for you styled for me. Is there some sort of true end I'm missing out of was it all of it?
They have a sound cue, and there's also some red mist around were they're going to fire. (or is that after they fire?).
Plus you should usually be careful around new enemies you're not familiar with, unless you were out in the open due to a bad spawn, in which case then that sucks.
Also Crystal's shield doesnt work on the lasers, just so you dont have to find out on your own.
>unless you were out in the open due to a bad spawn
This. Seems that bad spawns are a commonplace in this game. A shame I need to take a mutation just to counter them.
Also, I was playing YV.
>>127852926 has the mobility advantage, but a huge weak point in the neck and skinny arms.
>>127853495 has a killer bite attack with good range, but bad mobility and no "safe" attacks.
>>127926559 is probably very slow but has a lot of HP. That hand looks deadly, too.
>>127952105 can probably move around more than the previous two, but has no bite attack and only one fairly thin-looking arm.
Overall I'd say >>127852926 or >>127853495
"How quickly the tide turns!"
Brigador dev stream going on right now.
Apparently there's a tie-in novel that they're planning to release as an audio book on Steam.
Flamethrowers also confirmed for not making it into the release version. The game's apparently not doing well financially.
So just finished Lisa The Painful a couple days ago. How many other people got frustrated with how Lisa gave you options on a very simple good/evil level with their being no payoff for it at the end of the day?
I felt I explained it better in the last thread but I felt that giving me choices when it had no effect on the plot annoying. I understand that the choices can keep your partners alive or not but I'm talking on a plot level not gameplay.
Lisa has such an fun world and it's genuinely interesting but it feels like the game doesn't want me to enjoy it.
I was fine with it. That's kind of the point - the choices are truly painful with no "best" choices and the world is ultimately deterministic. You're a nobody, a small fish in a sea of dipshits. Your choices don't really matter in the grand scheme of things. The game constantly rewards you with nothing but a progression of suffering; there's no stick or carrot, only stick. The ultimate choice doesn't even penalize you gameplay-wise, but I actually spent some time thinking whether I should sacrifice my leveled party or Buddy's nipple.
I don't feel like it should be compared to Undertale or any kind of WRPG morality systems, it's its own thing. If anything it's an actual-factual deconstruction of a morality system, as opposed to Undertale, a deterministic one.
Isn't that part of the charm though? That at the end of the day, no matter what choices you make, you've still done the wrong thing?
Remember that it's explained via plot-
Joy makes one's innermost desires come out and for Brad, that was getting back Buddy, no matter what choices were made along the way, there was only his desire at the end of the day. This also explains his priority shift when Marty was introduced again.
It's an RPGMaker game, you can't just program the engine to replace bits and pieces, you have to create a new area for each section and that means double his time during the making of the game and more shit inside you Hard drive.
See I can agree with some of those points, I get the idea that game has a very bleak outlook and it's not scared to keep with that vision no matter how dark it gets.
However, I wouldn't call Brad a nobody, well he's a nobody in terms of importance. But he's easily shown to be one of the strongest men in the world.
I agree that having a incredible cheerful ending would have been really out of touch with the rest of the feeling of the game. Just a small nod for making the difficult but kinder choices is all I wanted.
With explaining the Joy like that it actually does make more sense. I appreciate getting that explanation.
Nobody is literally Brad's job title. He might actually be the strongest man in the world but the game's theme is about a literal nobody struggling with drug addiction and parental complexes. There's no saving the world and defeating ancient evils here. And I actually wouldn't want it any other way, and think it makes LISA an incredibly unique video game story if nothing else.
it's the curse of a post-minecraft world. every 12 year old and their uncle wants everybody to work like notch. but notch made minecraft his day job. wollay's just indulging a hobby. I remain suprised at how relatively few bugs the alpha build of cubeworld exhibits, considering it's an alpha build. there's "indie" shit that's gone "full release" that's not that smooth a ride.
of course, that doesn't stop youtube faggots from talking shit and provoking the underageb& hordes.
Yea I'm not trying to say that Lisa wasn't a unqiue or fun game I guess I just felt a bit cheated out of given options that at times didn't matter.
But that feeling of lack of control is most likely in place there on purpose. It's not the most clear point I have, but I guess the game made me frustrated with brad's actions.
LISA is all about making you emotionally frustrated and feeling the lack of control, yeah. Dingaling is actually on record saying Buddy is his least favorite character in the series and is a little shit, yet he made her the Joyful's main protag. It's all about making you uncomfortable and distraught instead of congratulated, as is the case with all other vidya out there. It's certainly not for everyone, but it be like it does.
How is Joyful compared to Pain? Is it worth the five to pick it up or is it best to just wait for a steam deal?
I've heard that it has timing attack and I generally enjoy those gimmicks since I enjoy rhythm games. I haven't heard much about the Joyful.
The thing with Joyful is that Ding didn't make it it's own game as he thought it was too small to be called one, so he made it DLC
In my opinion it's very good and I enjoyed it, especially without Joy, but the story is "Buddy is edgy as FUCK".
take what you want from that
no party members except rando for a bit
The timing attacks are kinda tacked on, the system isn't very deep but has more tactile involvement than Painful, still. The gameplay suffers from a severe lack of options however because it's very linear and story-driven and you only have one party member for most of it. There are a few challenging fights, though.
The story has people very divided. Buddy is a massive shit of a kid and everyone fucking dies. Some think it shits all over the Painful, others think it was a decent closure to the overarching story.
It's mostly not worth 5 bucks because it's a 3-hour DLC with limited gameplay, but worth a sale buy just for the closure.
Many seem to hate it but I honestly thought it was fine. I don't have an issue with Buddy being unlikable, since that's the point and I'm not autistic and can seperate myself from a PC and I didn't mind the combat. It's boring and way too easy (pic related) and there's no party management, but I thought the actual story was worth it.
Not necessary, at least when I played it (release version). IIRC there was an update at some point that supposedly changed some things?
But yeah, I got through the entire game without losing a single fight following exactly that flowchart, and I only made it because in the /v/ threads on release there were tons of people complaining the combat was way too difficult.
Found one! The living/dead platformer is Verge by Kyle Pulver. He made other cool games like Bonesaw.
I found it on a TIGsource competition. The original page is still down, but the entries are at https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=3865.0
I'm not sure what the other one was. Some of the games aren't hosted anymore.
Should I get Pathologic HD or wait for the remake to be finished? I downloaded the original Pothologic after playing The Void but I couldn't get into it. I didn't like the time ticking away while I tried to figure out the incomprehensible controls.
Well, the Remake is supposed to be quite different from the original so that both are worth playing.
But then again HD is pretty much the original with a better translation and some slight touches to the graphics, so if you had issues with the controls I don't know whether it's worth it.
Though I don't know how the controls are incomprehensible exactly, what issues did you have?
Yeah. You don't even /need/ Joy if you can last til you get Mend.
That's one of the best ways I've found to rationalize the way the game works and why it feels a little rail-roaded. I don't really mind shit like that /as long as/ it's backed up by lore. And this is.
It's been a while since I tried it. I remember it started with the player character on a balcony and people were talking below, but I couldn't see how to get down or listen in. Later I was in a house, and I just remember the clock ticking while I was trying to figure out how to interact with objects and people, and open doors.
Everything that lights up when you look at it can be interacted with via the E key. Other than that's there's not many buttons really, and they're all listed in the options menu and pretty self-explanatory.
Also, you don't need to worry too much about time except on the first day or when you want to beat the game perfectly (which I wouldn't advise on the first playthrough, just go with the flow, the game's all about making you feel desperate).
So if you want an immersive (and emotianlly draining) experience I'd say go for HD.
If you run into any troubles with controls or something I'll probably be here to help you out
>Just a small nod for making the difficult but kinder choices is all I wanted.
I really appreciated that there *wasn't* anything like that. You can do the right thing or you can do what's good for you, and the right thing doesn't have some big secret payoff in the end (unless you count
Terry becoming a strong party member if you don't sacrifice him and level him up).
You know how in Bioshock, saving the sisters ultimately pays off more than harvesting them? That's bullshit. In Lisa, you can do the right thing, but there's no pat on the back for it. It's just you and the desert, and no one is going to save you.
Did anyone else feel like some of the backstory of Lisa was just tacked on? Like Sticky's dad. It made sense that he was the reason Brad and Sticky got a long, but it didn't make any sense that he was still alive and was a capable fighter and had claws for hands. Where did that come from?
Also, in the Pain ending, I don't see how Brad being Rando's dad fits with anything. Brad was motivated by guilt and the prospect of redemption when he took in Buddy (and he said it's his second chance, not his third chance). So why didn't Brad feel any guilt, or really any emotion, about abandoning Rando? It kind of felt like Dingaling couldn't think of what to put for the secret ending so he made something up.
Just replayed the Joyful, I didn't notice the first time around that whether or not you have Buddy trust Rando near the beginning of the game has an effect on event where
you find him hanging from barbed wire.
If you choose to hold on, she
drops him harder than Benny from the Walking Deadeither way, but if you trust Rando, when you go talk to him, the "red organ" background shows up, and Buddy completely spazzes out, calling Rando "Brad" as she mercilessly stabs him to death. But if you don't trust Rando, Buddy is much more calm and merciful, saying she'll finish what Brad started and puts him out of his misery with a slice of the throat. No red organ background.
Also, did anyone find Rando's justification for not being on the list kind of weird? I think he said something about "nobody bothers his army," but if that's the reason, how come Mr Beautiful is on the list?
Even if you say that he isn't considered a warlord anymore because he got his asskicked by Brad, it should have at least shown up crossed off, since Hawk Holliwood and Buffalo got their names crossed off but kept their lives. I have the feeling it was kind of a weak justification Dingaling came up with to make the story go the way he wanted. Otherwise Buddy would have known that it wasn't necessary to kill a warlord to get his name off the list.
>tfw no Joyful where you you could just force Lardy, Vega, and Mr B to fight for you Disgaea style.
>tfw no Gary the Hot Soup or Green Ranger party members
Did anyone find it kind of amusing that Chest, the merchant of the game says "oy vey" when you kill him? Maybe it's just too much 4chan on the brain.
It sucks massive dick and its dickish by design because it wants to, not because it needs to.
Sacrificed gameplay and true flow for the sake of telling a story in a gameplay oriented game. Its bad, but maybe you will like it.
So, how many people are actually awake and in the thread at the moment?
...and if any wants I can drawfag if anyone wants it.
I'm here. I'm the dude that keeps bringing up Brigador and Rogue System and made a few webms last thread.
I'd ask you to draw my mechfu the Touro smokestomping the shit out of some loyalists, but I don't think you know the reference material for that
Rando not being on the list made perfect sense to me. His army is above and beyond every warlord gang out there, he's as close as Olathe had to a centralized government as it gets. He could have also demanded his name not be kept on the list because he doesn't want to participate in a petty popularity contest, and everybody complied. Mr. Beautiful was on there because he needed some legitimacy to keep his community unmolested and mark his territory, Rando didn't need that.
The only warlord who I felt iffy about being on the List is Big L. He doesn't seem to have much of an army, just a few schmucks hanging out under his house, and just minds his own business like a genocidal hermit, much like Mike Satan. I can't imagine him being very involved with Olathe's politics.
Buddy's decision to kill the warlords has nothing to do with the fate of those who were already crossed out. She didn't know that. It's just that violence is all she knows. Also ultimately Buffalo is dead (we don't know whether he was crossed out when he left his position or was killed by Brad) and Hawk is dead if we're going by Pain Mode.
>Did anyone find it kind of amusing that Chest, the merchant of the game says "oy vey" when you kill him?
Lol, I didnt know that. Purely intentional on Ding's part if that's the case though.
We've come full circle. The ride never ends.
Yeah, I don't get the reference material, sorry. But, I could try if you provide it.
Based Shellby, fulfilling the ultimate purpose of this general
>tfw shellby references my Undyne x Harvey shitpost
I can now die happy!
I fucking wake up early and fuck up my sleep schedule so i thought hey let's check out good ol' /indie/ and this is what i wake up to god dammit guys.
I am kinda late, sorry.
Acrid from risk of rain with Horror on his back
Is this thread too dead to take art requests? I'll do it anyway.
note: my areas of expertise are LISA, Undertale, Hotline Miami and Nuclear Throne
I actually have no idea how to reply to that, but I believe you will do something magnificent, Anon.
drawing all of these
I'll figure something out.
For the Buddy daki, do you want Joyful or Painful Buddy? And how many arms on the Brad?
Nah, the game is not OFF-tier puzzles
but you will need to learn how to deal with the stance change on the enemies
There we go anon.
Any more requests? Sorry, I'm just really bored.
The Sign man.
it would've been helpful for you to specify that. Melting's B Skin doesn't have any skin where its breasts would be, so I assumed that wasn't what you wanted.
I suppose so, my fault.
I just assume that when it comes to a lewd, sorry.
Yes, after I finish with some stuff I have to do I'll gather what I already posted and put it all toghether...
ARGH! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MAD I'M, THE GODDAMN LIST WAS ALMOST FINISHED.
It's more like that triad card game from one of the final fantasy games.
But with less house rules and more weird deck styles.
I think there's even a print-and-play version of the game, if i remember correctly.
Nice. Covering up with the poncho is a good touch.
Here's some good games that have recently came out.
It's basically an MMA tycoon simulator. You train your character.. Gain stats, add movesets. Fucking great. If you have an iPhone it's on there.. Which I would rather get that on there.
Another great new release. It's essentially a guitar hero or beatmania type of game but for 8-bit music. All music is original and the thing that's fucking cool about it is the fact that it comes with a level editor and you can make your own chiptune music and create your own levels to post. If you're into this kind of thing I recommend it.
>there will never be a 3d remake of LISA with a deep combo-based action combat system that lets you explore Olathe in glorious full HD
>30 minutes long RULES OF NATURE real-time fight against Rando and an epic rhythm-based battle against Yado's Throne as Buddy climbs it and cuts the mutant heads off one by one
>there is a rather low possibility of a LISA movie
Time to commit senran kagura
Are you me? I've been dreaming about the concept of what LISA would be like as a big budget 3D game
>hyper-realistic Joy Mutants
>god-tier voice acting
>music produced at or above Joyful quality

I can't even get far enough to unlock Robot, Big Bandit kills me like half of the time unless I loot a grenade launcher. You underestimate just how bad I am at this type of game
Now this is quality advice, I had no idea you could do that
No anon, just keep trying.
We know that one day you will reach the throne.
If you want an actual tip, start playing with Melting.
His high risk/high reward will help you polish your dodging skills eventually.
Any good multiplayer indie games you guys playing?
I'm back now, didn't mean to be so long.
The special edit, just for you~
Can we have Darkest Dungeon be the game of the week when full release happens a couple of weeks? I'm hoping the final boss doesn't eat up too many of my guys.
Chicken if you so wish.
If you mean requests then this >>128044936 or Rogue, pic related.
Chicken using her Katana to slowly rip off Rogue's uniform. Her gear could be tossed aside as if she had just been defeated.
Them presenting their throne butts to the screen.
While I wouldn't really want a duo one, just make them pose the ass.
Rogue could be with her bottom slashed, and Chicken could be with the katana in hand, both backs turned to ya but smiling back.
Should look good, no?
Welp is the hero we need, but not the one we deserve.
Ehh, he's great, but shelbby is better IMO
Comparing content creators is a little disrespectful, don't you think
>Boy, what a shame...
>IS GONNA GET TO SEE YOU DIE.
What'd she mean by this?
When did she say that? I don't remember it.
>There's an SU Lisa crossover but no PMMM crossover
What's your favorite knight?
I love propeller knight because he's really hammy and over-the-top.
Plague knight gets me going but i want to see if yacht club can change my mind in the next update about pic related.
I honestly have no justification. I just like Polar knight
and his boss fight was fun.
I wonder how they are gonna make his levels from how big his sprite is, i hope they don't just shrink him down and call it a day.
I just really love plague knights soundfont plague of shadows had some of my absolute favorite tracks in shovel knight so far.
I like King Knight. We'll be able to play him in one of the updates, right?
King Knight DLC is coming, either before or after Specter Knight.
I'm looking forward to his campaign more than Specter Knight's. He's so goofy and campy, and jumpy platforming is way more fun than floaty platforming.
>black outline of the cape clipping with the "ground" and disappearing
I love Treasure Knight's design.
Anyone else here play Subnautica? I check back in on it every once in a while to see what those updates I've been downloading are. They recently implemented a new lighting system and it makes the game look fantastic.
My wife watched Markiplier play it for a bit. That's about all the experience I have. It looks interesting though. I'm not a big fan of survival games generally so I never really took much interest in it.
To be perfectly honest I wouldn't say that I regret dropping twenty bucks on it but I wouldn't recommend other people buy it just yet unless they're really into some aspect of the game, be it crafting, survival, exploration, underwater games, or running into Lovecraftian horrors in the deep. If anything put it on your wishlist and wait for a sale or just for enough updates to make it worthwhile. They're progressing pretty well so far, even have an accomplished writer doing some story for them. But it's just not too complete right now.
Lovecraftian Horrors: Interested
Yeah I'll probably watch out for a sale then. The most interesting thing to me is that it was underwater, which seemed different from most others. If there's a plot and whatnot too, that's also helpful.
I don't know if I'm just old but I don't like the "here's a sandbox world, survive" type games. (Don't Starve Together is ok with friends but I would never touch it solo). Granted I hate sandboxes altogether now that I think about it.
Anyway, yes. I'll keep an eye out because that has enough to interest me.
