in ds2, is bleeding a DoT or burst damage?

In demon souls when you select your origin, and hit random it creates a random face with that origin type.

In Dark does it do the same? Because I hit random and it seems to just make literally a random face, not one that fits within that origin. I'm also not sure how to accurately make Asian features. So I either make light skinned Europeans, or brown girls with Euro features.

Degredation is tied to frame rate. When they doubled the frame rate for the update, they didn't change the degradation rate. It's an over sight for the game.

Guide for the Dark Souls 3 fanbase:
1. Don't insult DaS1
2. Don't compliment DaS2
3. Don't make game design comparisons between DaS2 and DeS e.g. lifegems and grass, dying reduces your total health percentage. DeS is flawless because it's platform exclusive and the oldest game in the series.
4. Don't mention DaS2 unless you are actively shitting on it
5. Make sure you state that any given thing in DaS3 is "like DaS1/DeS", so that you aren't insinuating in any way that anything from DaS2 has made it in, even if it is a potential improvement or sidegrade.

Am currently running DS1 on NG+ after I beat it for the first time a while ago and am starting to feel the increase in difficulty with how fast my health bar tanks. I understand that tanking isn't too viable now but I think I had fucked my stats since I didn't know what I was doing on this character, care to take a look a see if there is anything that can be fixed to make my life a little easier ?

Equipment:
+15 Zweihander
+5 Giant Armor Chestpeice
+6 Iron Leggings
+3 Brigand Gauntlets (Switched them so I can fast roll)
Canvas Tailsman (For greater lighting spear and Replenishment buff, sometimes sunlight blade for bosses)
Fathers mask for extra carry load
Havel's Ring
Ring of Favor and protection

I switch out Havel's for def rings against bosses and I use the Black Iron Greatshield +5 against bosses sometimes (especially the likes of Sif)

I recently bought Dark Souls 2. Is it just me or is DaS2 a lot uglier than DaS1? If I was judging by looks alone I would guess that DaS1 was a sequel to DaS2.

That is right on the money actually, even though I picked up the Zweihander half way through my first play through, I tend to misjudge my range still, so I end having to take a long recovery and get smacked. Not so bad on regular NG, but worse now on NG+.

Your shit is kind of fucked m8, there's no way to respec in DaS1 and it costs a gorillian souls to level up now.

Although if you really feel like grinding it out you can dupe boss souls, just look up "boss soul glitch" on youtube.

But yeah I think it might be time for a new character, this time hopefully with a better idea of what you want to do. By NG+ you should at least have one stat up to 40 as that's when you start getting diminishing returns. If you're going to be running around with the Zweihander you really need armor with good poise to make sure your attacks aren't constantly interrupted.

No, what the anon is trying to say is that the durability drain rate is still dependent on your framerate. Weapons on PS3 and PC 30 fps degrade slower than on PS4 and PC 60 fps.

I haven't been able to invade or get invaded, summon or get summoned in Dark Souls 2 for a while, and I think I may have been softbanned. I haven't used Cheat Engine or any other editors and stuff, but here are two possible things that may have caused it:
-I was given a bunch of stuff as prize in a fight club, some of it included the illusory rings
-I restored a backup save in fear of getting a +14 weapon.
Can any of these get me softbanned?

Its not great, but its ok. Better range than vanquisher's seal, but less powerful. Its powerstance in offhand is a hadoken. I would recommend you just run 1 bone fist with bare handed vanquiser's seal in main hand. And of course, robbflynn.

Guys, how do I into online interaction in Dark Souls?

I picked this game few days ago and up to this point I avoided all online stuff. I didn't summon anyone and never left my white signs. Also I almost always was in hollow mode so no one ever invaded me.

Now I would like to get involved in any kind of cooperation or pvp.
I am level 60 and I left my summoning sign in Anor Londo near the "big and small dudes" boss entrance, but no one summons me. Is this boss too easy and no one needs help (I waited for almost 30 minutes)?
I also tried to use cracked red eye orb and even invaded someone 2 times. But now I have only 2 red orbs left and I have no idea where to get more. According to wiki they are sold in a location I don't have access to yet.

Like I said in >>127252969, it's viable in certain builds that rely on the extra VIT and don't have a better use of the points, but in even in their case no one should ever go about 50. Nonetheless, for most builds you shouldn't go over 40 either if you have better things to spend it on.
