I never thought we'd see the game to be honest.
I read a really good article on the subject once and it went in depth as to why it is basically a lose-lose situation for them to make it.
Basically came down to narrative and gameplay progress since it originally came out and the vastly varied opinions within the fanbase as to what's "best" for a remake.

Not even close. Christ I hate that game with a passion. Cynical cash grab for the OoT babies after WW was a financial failure and it shows badly. The game is complete shit.

It's kinda stupid to ask what's one's most hated game. Generally speaking, it's not a question that most people will be able to answer. I don't like Dark Souls, I think it's an extremely mediocre game, but I don't hate it. I don't like fighting games because I'm shit at them, but it's my fault, I don't hate them for that.
