NO FUCKING WAY
>look up tutorial
>its a 13 year old explaining shit and incredibly high speed and can't keep up
>time
>>388930081
I actually put most tutorials at 1.5x or 2x speed because I have a hard time understanding shit when they go over it slowly.
>>388930081

What were they thinking? What went wrong?
Generator Room was the worst casualty of the N. Sane Trilogy.
>>388930038
Not much, it's pretty fun except Crash has a 3D oval shaped hitbox instead of a cube so he slides off curved edges.
Nothing went wrong you bitter cunt.
Say you're marking the grave of Valve. What date would you mark as its death?

tbqh desu vidya shouldnt be in olympics in the first place
Videogames don't belong in the olympics, did you faggots actually consider yourselves athletes by hitting buttons?
does that mean non-violent video games will show up like Splatoon or some digital card games?
I'm about to buy a Switch with Zelda. What can I expect from Breath of the Wild?
>>388929461
A great game the like of which you won't find elsewhere.
People will list a dozen or so games that does things Breath of the Wild does. But none of those games does all of it.
It's by no means perfect but that doesn't detract from the game being rather amazing on its own. If anything people hailing it as perfect has just caused lots of frustration to the point where some may miss the fact that it remains an extraordinary game even if it isn't perfect.
I don't know. I'd assume you'd have a good time with it. But you can probably make up your own mind once you've got it.
expect the same open world fatigue that you experience from other ubisoft games. don't let the jews here fool you.
>>388929461
Game of all times.
The first game to truly rival Ocarina Of Time.
Which one you'll end up preferring, is up to you.
>>388929732
And there's the meme answer.
BotW is an "Ubisoft openworld game" only on paper. It overhauls, re-designs, and ditches many, if not all the features people have come to connect with said term. Making one truly enjoyable, unique experience.
>There are people on this board RIGHT NOW who think Divinity Original Sin 2 won't be this years RPG GOTY
explain yourselves
this chad is much gayer then he should be
Was not very impressed with the first despite hearing exactly the same shit about how it was the rebirth of the cRPG and the finest thing to come along since the blowjob. I'll wait and see if they got rid of the shit art style and fixed the god awful characterization and dialogue.
>>388929417
I mean did it have ANY competition besides Torment ?
I've had enough, I want a Styx: SOD thread
The game is basically a spiritual successor to splinter cell mixed with huge fun vertical jungle gym levels and a cheeky platformer feel to it.

>inb4 "not an mmo"
yeah? neither is your World of MapleFFXIVCraft Desert """online""" where you literally play a single player game from 1 to the level cap. Instanced games/rooms with 4 players always worked better because people would ACTUALLY PLAY TOGETHER instead of existing in a world where everyone else is playing their own single player game.
What are some games I can spend hundreds of hours in while listening to music?
That's entirely up to you, anon. I almost always have music on when I play games, so the question just becomes 'what game can I spend hundreds of hours on?'
Civ V, EVE online and Stronghold: Crusader have been my go-I games recently
Runescape
I've used Disgaea, Darkest Dungeon, and Monster Hunter once I was good enough to not need audio cues.
What are the best racing games of all-time, /v/?
Doesn't matter if it's a realistic simulation or an arcade-style game, give em' to me.
Mario Kart Double Dash
mario kart or trackmania IMO
Need for Speed: Underground 1 and 2.
Have to play games that are 5+ yrs olds like Dota2 and WoW cus nothing exciting comes out, how is this possible? Back when I was 10 every game was fucking unique and good, even between two FPS.
Example:
Just 2004 had BF2, WoW, UT2004, Half Life 2, Prince of Persia,GTA:San Andreas, Need for Speed UD2, Doom3, Halo 2, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, Fable, Battlefield:Vietnam, Rome Total War, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, Far Cry, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and many more
You can mention many games up until 2010, then the gaming industry went to shit.....
WHAT HAPPENED????
Now look at 2015-2016-2017
3 years and you can barely mention a couple games that were good, but not even memorable or kino....
I still find games that I enjoy. I've never played the AAA new releases as soon as they came out though, which helped. It's a needlessly pessimistic and annoying attitude to say nothing good ever gets developed and released, grow up.
>>388928950
Sadly not as much or same shit over and over again, creativity died out.

>WHAT HAPPENED????
AAA industry shifted their focus to a brand new target audience: the casual gamers.
Following the lead of Nintendo, who literally wanted non-gamers to buy their Wii, they realized that instead of spending kazillion hours designing, testing and balancing more and more complex games, they could instead STREAMLINE the games and thus their development to the very bare bones, and people would still buy them for full price.
It's easier to see the change in shooters: Halo and CoD2 paved the way of regenerating health and more linear, scripted design. No item pickups meant less shit to hide on the level, meaning less exploration was needed, meaning maps could be linear pipes. They then try to compensate the obvious boredom with fancy cutscenes or other "spectacles"; interesting one shot gameplay scenes that are never re-used again.
On the flip-side, shooter devs started to focus more and more on console gamers, meaning controls had to be streamlined too, and the MP mode became the main attraction in most games.
When these "casual shooters" grew and made crazy sums, the design ideologies slowly bled towards other genres. There was this short fad in late 00s , when various old IPs were rebooted and -introduced to the new audiences... often turned into shooter games, no matter what their OG genre was.
The ironic part of this process is that what started as a way to save on costs and dev-time, ended up INCREASING both. Partly because of insanely expensive marketing campaigns big publishers pushed, just to get noticed in the now-gray mass of copypasta games. Partly because of the 100+ man teams needed for another new cancer: yearly soft-sequels. AAA budgets are now literally ~100 Million USD.
And now, we have a full generation who knows nothing but this horrible casual era's games. So they buy and make more.
