i put around 90 hours into it when it came out and for sure was disappointed

started a new file tonight though and honestly it isn't so bad when detached from the hype it had. I think the problem is FF fans want too much and don't understand exactly what.

My favorite series of all time, and it's not a hyperbole. I think the best one it's City, because it does everything Asylum does but better, the open world it's well used in there, unlike in Origins. As for the combat, i think it could be one of the best in the beat 'em up genre with just a few changes, it's really well designed, as it is, it's still casual fun that only cuhrazy fags and dunkeyfags hate.

Love Knight for improving the basic formula even more, hate it for the same reasons as you: the shit sidequests and the lack of bossbattles.

Seconding, but I still prefer Asylum to City.

I can see why City is better, I just prefer Asylums overall feel and design.

I'm playing it right now, even if I didn't know about the twist, it's so fucking obvious if you know anything about the Batman mythos it's embarrassing, it's a great fanservice machine as a series, people love to shit on the combat but it's still plenty enjoyable to me

i agree with he lack of interiors, batman works best in confined areas imo
the batmobile should have been done in origins first, i know rocksteady didn't develop it but they needed to test it out somewhere first and not jam it in during the last fucking game in the series without finetuning it
i'm playing on PC too but I get ridiculous framedrops(in fact i've had random framedrops in ALL the Arkham games on this rig), even if i set everything to low it still fucks up randomly even with my GPU/CPU never under any stress, so it is hampering my shit a bit but i'm still enjoying it
also the riddler stuff fucking sucks this time around

Asylum definitely is the best of the bunch for me, I think I'm enjoying this one more than City so far but that could and probably will change and Origins just felt like a chore. Asylum just had this fantastic atmosphere about it that the others absolutely failed to capture
also FUCK Knight for changing the control scheme, i'm 10 hours in and still not used to it
