I actually feel you. Adventure and Event Mode in Melee were cool, and I honestly liked how they expanded on it in Brawl. I thought Smash Run was fun as fuck, but 4 WiiU was lacking in single player content. There's only so many times you want to clear classic mode.

If you have a competent team, you can survive fairly easily on the surface. Caves has always been a struggle for me, personally.

Because they get into the hobby of games at age 12-20, rather than boys who have pretty much been playing games since their first memory. It's all new and exciting to them, rather than just something they've come to expect pure perfection from. Just let them have their fun and stop being such a damn snarky shithead about how people waste their free time.
