Man it really feels like theres no direction in the show. People are teleporting around the world willy nilly, going from one dramatic reveal to another. Timescales are all out of whack, especially when you compare it to earlier seasons when it would take some characters episodes to get from point a to point b.

I'm here til the end for better or worse, but these last two seasons have just felt like a pointless slog. Hoping for improvement but no expecting anything good.

Season 5 is bad compared to the other seasons. compared to other shows it is actually a good season but not up the GOT's standards. It is by far the weakest of the bunch but still a 7.5/10 season cause it had enough great moments and big events and in the end it did move the story forward.

S6 9.5/10 (looking back now I realize what a strong season it was and it was more S5's after effects that hurt it)
S7 - TBD but looks like we could be in for a 9.5.

I doubt anything will top season 4 which didn't have a single weak episode with a great balance between big and little moments that felt really spot on. From the Death of main characters and fights and battles to Tyrion's beetle story it was great writing throughout and I never wanted to fast forward through anyone's story.
