Anyone seen this? Is it really that bad?
>>83291233
I seen it and it's pirate kino. Maybe even the best film of 2017... Not sure yet. I haven't seen Boss Baby.
>>83291233
I saw it Last night, Johnny Depp seemed like he was just in it for the money this time, his acting was underwhelming and lines that should of been funny were just off time and didn't land. The rest of the cast were pretty bland lifeless characters, the only good actors in this one were the pirate crew which seemed identical to the other films. Honestly the only time i would watch it again is if its on TV on a Sunday when there is nothing else to do apart from jack off and have it on in the background.
Final review
3/10 - 'meh i could watch whilst scratching my nuts on the sofa.'
>>83291233
It's excellent. 8/10
What went wrong?
>>83291096
A few things
>unaware deluded asshole
>because he was an asshole people colluded against him
>couldn't handle criticism
>acquired a "gimmie dat" attitude
>still a huge asshole
I'm still rooting for him though.
He never recovered from Lupa. It went all downhill from that.
>>83291691
>He never recovered from Scarlett.
Fixed that for you. He has never been able to get over her breaking up with him. Plus when they were still dating she inflated his ego and shielded him from all forms of criticism.
I can't wait to hear /tv/'s opinions on it
>>83290857
Best show on tv after the Leftovers.
She's so fucking homely.
I will never ever ever watch this show
>>83290857
Does she show 'er tits?
Films that made you hate women
>>83290813
But wouldn't that make you like women because she was based enough to put some pussy on him, even tho he was a complete dweeb? Shit would have NEVER happened in real life
>>83290872
>Shit would have NEVER happened in real life
Hahaha, a 46 year old single mother of three well past the wall would easily settle for a virgin with $500,000 worth in old toys and a decent stable job
The film is a fucking warning, it literally shows him going from a beta virgin to a beta cuck provider
>>83290813
I don't hate women since I'm not a /r9k/ memer

The title of my phD dissertation was:
"DADDY WANTS TO FUCK : SEMIOTIC DISPARITIES WITHIN LYNCH'S BLUE VELVET"
It's deep, yo.
How do you feel about how Red handled Erics engagement. While yet getting engaged that young is stupid, "you lose your car, job and school funding if you don't break it off" seems kinda extreme and downright petty
Given that Laura Prepon had gotten sucked into scientology, he made the right call. Topher is entirely too impressionable as it is.
I mean he was a dick but they did end up not being together so he was right
Sometimes if you never were able to pull in women it would be better if you just found one and married her but this is a robot speaking and red was a little too harsh
Movie was fantastic! Wow, critics got it wrong again. This was R-rated summer FUN through and through, everyone in the audience around me loved it, they were laughing and clapping at the appropriate times. And who doesn't love The Rock?
>>83290443
Is this b8? Cause i'm actually planning on watching this with someone.
>>83290481
Happy audiences should be enough to cheer you up. Laughter and cheering at the appropriate times. Lots of FUN in the cinema.
>>83290583
I don't get this. Is this some copy pasta bull shit?
Why wasn't this a bigger hit?
It was fucking hilarious.
Pissed all over Neighbors 2 and the Angry Birds movie.
>>83290079
This was my FotY 2016. Gosling's comedic timing and their chemistry was impeccable.
>>83290079
It was a pretty great mainstream comedy.
>>83290203
Let's be honest, whilst Crowe was good, Gosling was the star of the show.
WHAT THE FUCK?!
>>83290053
>prequel where the main character is 30 years older
cant wait
>>83290105
how does that even work? or are they gonna do that shtick where a younger actor is replacing the main character, and the older actor does a cameo
>>83290180
>animated movie
>little Johnny McClane attempts to escape his pre-school
and holy shit it blew me away so much genuinely shocking and hilarious moments

Why hasn't there been an "unbearable whiteness of Twin Peaks" tumbleratti article yet? I really can't understand; feminists across the country must be itching to write it. Do they sense there would be a strong backlash, the last step towards the long anticipated final race war?
>>83289851
>feminists across the country must be itching to write it
you realize race and sex are two different things, right?
>>83290209
who do you think writes all the anti white headlines? A good majority are blue haired fat land whales. I could get into the connection but I don't want to go off topic of the thread.
>>83289851
There was an article complaining about the violence towards women in the show, but it didn't seem to get much attention.
Honestly, SJWs just don't give a shit about Twin Peaks. It's too old for them to care, and the revival too newbie-unfriendly for them to just jump into it (the revival). And it's on Showtime so they don't have easy access to it. They're too busy watching whatever dumb cartoons they like to complain about Twin Peaks.
Why are there so many foreigners working in Hollywood?
Whenever you look up a new project, the cast seems to be mostly foreign. Why is this allowed?
>>83289535
americans are shit at european accents
>dat moustache
>>83289535
>California
>white
Oh man I sure am interested in knowing what the fuck this was about
>>83289248
I wonder if they ever.....you know...
>>83289818
played cards? probably.

It's not about anything. Lynch just made up a bunch of shit as he filmed.
>Lynch shot the film without a complete screenplay. Instead, he handed each actor several pages of freshly written dialogue each day.[3] In a 2005 interview, he described his feelings about the shooting process: "I've never worked on a project in this way before. I don’t know exactly how this thing will finally unfold... This film is very different because I don’t have a script. I write the thing scene by scene and much of it is shot and I don’t have much of a clue where it will end. It’s a risk, but I have this feeling that because all things are unified, this idea over here in that room will somehow relate to that idea over there in the pink room."[8]
>Interviewed at the Venice Film Festival, Laura Dern admitted that she didn't know what Inland Empire was about or the role she was playing, but hoped that seeing the film's premiere at the festival would help her "learn more."[3] Justin Theroux has also stated that he "couldn't possibly tell you what the film's about, and at this point I don't know that David Lynch could. It's become sort of a pastime—Laura [Dern] and I sit around on set trying to figure out what's going on."[9]
The episode titles of the new season of blacked mirror are out. What are your thoughts?
>Tim Van Patten reduced to Netflix tier shit
Let me guess it's going to have even more agenda pushing and lazy over the top technology memes
>>83289084
Sounds interdasting.
