Adulthood is realizing George had it right all along
>>84070279
Watching George try to come up with a new career path after quitting his job hits too close to home. "I like movies...maybe I could be a projectionist."
Adulthood is not making these dumb threads anymore
>>84070279

SLIP INSIDE THE EYE OF YOUR MIND
This was better
Until recently it was assumed Batman was a fictional creation for DC Comics in 1939 who went on to star in a 1960s television series before launching the cult film franchise in 1989.
But a 2016 Suffolk Gazette investigation discovered the inspiration for the character was the true story of Bill Smith, who moved from Suffolk in England to America in 1870 and settled in New York where he worked in a butcher’s shop.

>>84069486
it's honestly 40/100. But there have been far worse.
Am I the only one who gets the feelung that modern action movies are much worse than what coming out in 80s and early 90s? Even though nowadays there's great special effects, choreographed fight scenes etc, something about them feels off.
>>84069338
go back to sleep grandpa, and don't forget to take your medicine
>>84069338
Naw, plenty of shit then too. Stuff like the Raid and Fury Road is still being made, tho the overusage of cgi is probably causing more shit movies to be made overall because it allows laziness. Why make it real when you can get close enough with a computer?
>>84069338
>something about them feels off
It's the greenscreen, wires and CGI blood. Also, prevalent use of masked henchmen.
Well played Clerks....
Clerks cartoon sucked
WHO IS DRIVING?
>>84069317

What the fuck was her problem?
Pretty sure no one on this board has the attention span to watch this film unfortunately
>>84069239
did you see the way her family treated her?
plus muh absurd world
Well she was doing to the cat what everyone was doing to her, she was ignored and possibly abused. So she was abusing something smaller than her, something she had power over. I can't quite remember but she kills herself after her friend or brother has tricked her and stole her money, right? That was just the final straw.
And then when she dies everyone pretends that it's a big deal but no one cared before. She symbolizes all the good that gets corrupted and destroyed. So that's how irimias can rouse everyone with his speech at her funeral.
>movies beta males will never understand
I'll start: literally any sports movie
>hurr durr y do people party, consume alcohol, and engage in casual sexual relations?
What does /tv/ think of Luc Beson, the master of strong female lead characters?
