Why do you fuckers defend this? This is one of the wost """""""movies""""""" I have ever seen. The scenes are unnecessarily long and if it came out today it would be criticised for it, I dont care that it was the "first to do it", it did it wrong. It was so basic how he filmed the apes, I see more complex filmaking from a wildlife documentary.
>BUT DUDE LONG TAKES ARE FOR PATRICIANS
You can have long quiet scenes that are both good and bad. Just because its long doesnt automatically make it good fucking hell.
>DUDE THOSE SCENES MAKE US APPRECIATE TECHNOLOGY AND SHIT
A competent director would have directed those scenes in a way that doesn't put a hyperactive 5 year old to sleep. It's just shitty film making, no excuse.
>IT JUST DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH LASER GUNS AND SJW PANDERING FOR YOU LIKING
Fuck off. Before Sunrise was litterally just two people walking around a city, talking and it wasn't boring for a second. You know why? BECAUSE IT HAD A COMPETENT DIRECTOR!
>DUDE BUT THE AENDING WAS PRETTY LSD TRIPPIN LMAO
So it's confirmed the drugs have destroyed your brains. 2001 fans are literally DUDE WEED LMAO tier

So I just marathoned the first episode of The Mist TV series, and the only monster in it is this skull-faced bitch.
No but seriously, it's shit. Why does this even need to exist? The movie was good, I don't understand, why remake it but worse?
>>85886106
you marathond an entire episode ??
wow we got a hardcore bingewatcher over here..
I usually divide an episode in several weeks, just watch like 15 mins or so..

Stephen King sold all of his intellectual properties is my guess.

Professor Brand moved on?
This... This is what I'm talking about. This is what I mean when I'm talkin' about time, and death, and futility. All right, there are broader ideas at work, mainly what is owed between us as a society for our mutual illusions. Fourteen straight hours of staring at DB's, these are the things ya think of. You ever done that? You look in their eyes, even in a picture, doesn't matter if they're dead or alive, you can still read 'em. You know what you see? They welcomed it... Not at first, but... right there in the last instant. It's an unmistakable relief.
the yellow king moved on?
...from what??

Alright alright alright
So, what's up with this shit? Apparently, they are planning it.

Into the ocean. It'll be shit.
Just catched Gorundhog Day here on TV in my country .. and I'm wondering.. is there any more movies with this 'repeating the same day' theme? Not as good as Gorundhog Day for sure.. but gimme some suggestions.
I love time travel movies .. and this theme is sort of time travel ..

Edge of Tomorrow

I finished Season 1 and im halfway through season 2. I'm sad because I know when I get to S3 its gonna get shitty
I mean, if you've actually made it this far, season 3 really isn't that bad. Not unwatchable, anyway. Clearly the plots are rehashed, and Spock's Brain is a notoriously silly episode. But It's still Trek. If you like TOS already you're going to enjoy it on some level. I did.
Don't be sad op, you still have the Captain Kirk Space Queen episode aheaf, and that's enough to brighten anyone's day.
>>85885165
i have bad news for you anon. it already gets shitty in the second half of s2. might as well stop watching now.
What did he exactly do wrong? He saw the human race dying out and people getting dumber due to some virus and if the apes are to coexist alongside humans, all humans would lose their intelligence so he took matters into his own hands to try and save the human race.
He CLEARLY explains all his reasons to Caesar about having to kill his own son after his son contacted the virus.
I don't understand how anyone can root for the apes after seeing this movie.
So you'd prefer these apes to take over the planet and for all humans to die out and everything we have done to mean nothing?
>people are getting infected by apes
>better round up all the apes and use them as slaves in my super base
>>85885100
But humans won't die out. They will just turn into dumber forms of themselves. It's devolution.
>>85885100
the virus made no sense, they never wore masks and he got right up in ceasars face multiple times in the movie. apparently monkey to human contact cant spread it, only human to human so why even go after the apes???
What are some movies in which cute, innocent-looking, high school-aged girls have gratuitous nude scenes?

Let's write a script.
Mister
INT. LAND CRUISER JOSTLING OVER UNEVEN TERRAIN - DAY
Three Hooded Men guarded by East European Militia. A third
Militia drives. Next to him is a nervous, bespectacled man.
EXT. AIRSTRIP, EASTERN EUROPE - DAY
An airstrip overlooking a grey city rocked by artillery
fire. A bland CIA Operative, flanked by Special Forces Men,
stands in front of a commuter plane. CIA Man watches the
Land Cruiser pull up, hard. The Militia Men jump out of the
vehicle.
The Driver shoves the bespectacled man in front of the CIA
Man.
