Civilized (Race trait, gnoll): You have spent most of your life in one of the great cities of humanity, having abandoned the ways of your people to enrich yourself. Natural Armor. Just pile it on, there's no limit when you're making enemies. As an example, Stone Golems have +18 Nat Armor.

AC's supposed to stop multiattacks mostly, and iteratives. If your players are vital striking cournogon smashing strike using people, then yeah, you probably don't need to bother but if they're full attacking it's a hell of a lot of damage reduction.

Yo all, intrigue archetypes drops today, so the inquisitive detective, trickshoot hood, and talented tactician are out.

There's also rumblings of a possible early playtest going on for Spheres of Might at 'half content', I'm doing my best to make sure the open playtest of the entire thing is open to everyone as soon as possible.

Thanks to a conversation the other day, the lancer now has options to leave weapons that they impale inside of an opponent, and even attack said weapons for even more damage (aptly called reverberation punishment), or impale them with multiple weapons and rip them all out at the same time for a bloody good time.

Is there any way to get Con mod to Reflex/Will/skills? I can get it just fine to AC/CMD/attacks/damage, but that leaves two rather obvious wholes in my defenses. 3pp is fine, the usual Forrest/Jolly/DSP/SoP combination.

It's also the cleave sphere, which benefits from a reach weapon. The thing is that we're doing our best to make sure that you can do things with whatever sphere, which is why boxer is still called boxer even being able to counter with light weapons.

Right now there's not, but considering we're combining cleave with impale, it is something that's worth considering. Right now you can only impale an opponent with a single weapon, but there are talents that'll let you multi-impale (pincushion punishment), up to 3 weapons inside of them, while others will let you impale them into walls or the ground or even more precisely to increase the penalties of being impaled.

Depends on how you do it, item restrictions, curses that well do not overly hamper the enemy would hamper pcs, and charges/use items that help defences are all options.
AC is the wrong way to protect yourself anyways, you will get more mileage out of 20% concealment then you will out of +10 ac as the concealment can stop crits, and ignores what your opponents ab is.
Also by using concealment items you remove the whole issue of oh look item bloat because well concealment does not stack.

Usually you go around in medium armor, the +10 feet from fast movement compensate for the armor slowing you down. Later on, as noted, you can go for mithril for moving in full speed or adamantine, which iirc stacks with your DR.

I have been the sole survivor of a TPK twice. It was the same campaign and character also actually. First time assassins killed the whole party except me. I damaged them badly but they knocked me below 0, my wolf (I was a 1st or 2nd level druid) finished him off and managed to stabilize me. The second time we were in the abyss (level 12 ish, we were crusading with several dragons and ungodly strong mage). Well said mage towards the end decided to abandon us and opened a portal.
