(16 update coming soon)
Imagine scoring four first half goals then chimping out and getting sent off when your team is 5-0 up
>Playing Leicester on 2nd January
>Part of the Christmas/New year hailstorm of fixtures
>Have to play mostly second-choice players because everyone's nackered from the game 2 days ago
>Get absolutely battered first half and go in 1 nil down
>End up winning 2-1, probably because Leicester didn't rotate and started the game with midfielders with conditions in the 70%s
Take that you memeing fucks.
>Villa in charge of contract negotiations
What's going right? Normally I really struggle with Villa in the second season, especially before the January update.
>you can have all the foreigners you want, but all those juicy regens you get at 14 years old? nah, you'll have to wait to play them
>ridiculous prize money
>shady organizations aren't allowed to purchase clubs
>promoted to the Norge premier league
>14th / 16
>6 points in 10 games
>the players are exhausted
>no players who would improve the team want to come because we're still a part time club
>beg the board to go professional
>get this response
Want to kill him desu
train him as an inside forward, like an AML or something. he's not really cut out to be a center forward based on the lack of jumping, strength, and his being one-footed. with 17 flair and 6 vision, he's really best out wide, where he can put his acceleration to good use.
>Playing for Borussia
>Before that Played in Lech Poznań
how long before Bayern buys him
>Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo says he is unlikely to stay in football when his playing career ends and the 30 year old wants to continue to build his brand and "live like a king".
>tfw just a few years until football is free from the faggotry and flopping of Poonaldo

>appoint CBs as captain and co-captain
>everyone, including themselves react well
>next game they both play like absolute shit
>get stomped simply because of them
give me a team to manage in 2. bundesliga or bundesliga please!
A manager with no previous experience going into such a high tier job?
>demolish a team
>all goals came from different players
Is there a better feel?
Not one single two-goal win
Undefeated but have dropped 12 points already. Ridiculous.
>tfw the 16 database is pretty close to finished
>/trb/ teams have won CL's and EL's within 20 years
>just need to reduce tv deals for the top two flights so they yoyo less, add in some aesthetic touches like rivalries etc
>then I can start the spreadsheet for the 2016 /trb/ F.C. players
>club in slight financial problems
>players still drastically reducing their contract demands
Discovered a better feel
>demolish the league leaders in a single half to take their spot
>Chivas are not allowed to sign non German Players
fm is realistic they said
it's not infected with english delusion they said
Those fucking arrows
Started season so good, thought this season would be a breeze but noooo.
Not a single clean sheet in the Prem so far
>just got promoted
>16 days into the transfer window
>board takeover still not finished
>aww. the insecure little virgin to afraid to show his roleplay manager name. haha
i'm confused too, maybe canada used his real name as manager for whatever reason?
is it normal to start a career and you have to wait 250 days for your first professional game?
t. bought this game a week ago and have spent under an hour playing
Pretty sure Mexibro said there is some date that you can't play past in linux for some stupid reason but its not until about 2038 or 2039 or some shit so as long as you don't plan on playing more than 25ish seasons you won't need to worry about it.
>in b4 wheredoyouthinkweare.jpg
>loaned a player from a club last season
>try to loan in another from the same club next season after that loan was finished
>says I've reached the limit for loans from that particular club
is there any way to get the metallic logo pack via torrent or else?
dont wanna DL for days with uploaded.net
ah fuck it, i just get this one:
smaller file and different look compared to my past saves
How much would you pay for him if you really needed a RB?
Consistent performer+relishes big matches
>I care about other people's preferences in a football team manager simulation
Just give me a value jesus christ
No way I'm doing it now
There's a lot of shit in that league
>Tel-Aviv and Haifa in an Asian league
gee, someone's a butthurt pinko
This fucking season.
Unfortunately Watford are in the FA Cup final (against United) so I could finish 6th and still not get into the Europa League because fucking Everton beat Man City in the Leage Cup.
i made the db last night morzi
color coded to starting divisions, but put no restrictions on them so after one season they mix fairly evenly.
Have you got the Bainselona freekick goal?
the one where Van persie and Baines both runs over the ball, so baines has to run back and sort of heels it over the wall and into the goal? That was a great Cl final.
When they made it so the EL winner would get into the CL
If CL winner doesn't finish in top 4 then the 4th place team still qualifies. If CL and EL winner are from same country and finish outside top 4, then 4th place enters EL
>it is important to point out that at this stage it's yet to be confirmed, but AS news agency is reporting that Rafael Benitez has been sacked as manager of Real Madrid.
>The report adds that Zinedine Zidane will step us as Madrid interim coach, with Santi Solari as his number two.
>AS say a press conference has been announced for 16:30 GMT.
Fucking get in there. City and Arsenal won but Chelsea could only draw (they needed to win to finish 4th).
I wonder why the fuck do my scouts and assman rate his potential so highly when he's so shit at 18
Do you guys think he can make it?
>The City of Tottenham relegated
Probably weirdest relegation I've seen so far.
Here's a dialemma - just had an amazing season with this guy as my assman but his attributes aren't that good. Should I let his contract expire or keep him?
Yeah that's what I thought too.
But how come when I do a staff search for assistant managers there are a people who don't show up? For example, I can't get anybody with tactical knowledge higher than 18. Unchecking the realistic appointment box does nothing.
bretty gud start to the season. need to have success now to save my board confidence for when we inevitably lose 9 games in a row in dec/jan because I'm running high pressure, uptempo tactics with >league 1 stamina
Here's what I don't get, I just finished 4th yet in that same season I lost to Luton on penalties in the LC and Leeds 4-1 at home in the FAC.
How can a team that is clearly overachieving by so much in the league do so badly in the cups?
pls m8, mind what you say.
I dont want a war to be started again between the /lgc/ and the qties hooligans
>Finish 7th in the league and choke in the CL final
Never change, City
>QPR locked Odemwingie out of Loftus Road to ensure they did not break any rules concerning transfers
Not really, wanted to see how you felt about it
Miss McLeish yet?
Looks about 50
As I said, I'm looking forward to it. Will be nice to (probably) win some games for once.
No. Will you stop fucking asking me that?
It's time, /trb/, time to choose your next hue GOAT
I'm calling dibs on
finally a working crack
where the goat skins at doe
Why am I obsessed with nationality contingencies?
Which one do you think I should get?
Depends on what you look for in an assman. Since I pretty much only use them for a 2nd opinion on player's relative ability and potential, I'd go with Riekerink. If you want one that would also be decent at judging squad management, go with Riederink. If you're a pleb that needs his assman to tell him how to tictac, go with Henke.
I'd definitely take left. He is probably only marginally better overall but personally I hate signing 60+ year olds just because its really annoying to have to seek out a new assman every year or so if they keep retiring
Who you got?
2006 was so hype as a kid, even more than 2004 IMO
Only thing that came close was when we almost pushed Spain's shit in 2012 and forced them to park the bus for the whole 90 minutes
Speaking of FM being realistic
This might just be one of the weirdest thing I've seen on FM
not even the Faroes are safe
Something about FM just doesn't like the big teams in Serie A during my saves. Usually Inter/Lazio/Fiorentina/Napoli will end up collapsing big time. I remember my last save as Sassuolo, Fiorentina got relegated first season.
um, Canada, this isn't hockey, you also need midfielders
I swear every couple of years some new technology proves "beyond any doubt" it did/didn't cross the line
>not signing rare flags
Surprised he didn't just catch it in his mouth
>own goals vs Utd & Everton
Could've been worse
With three fixtures to go, I had to win out and hope for Swit to drop four points.
Which they did...only for us to lose late in the next-to-last match.
>open up my save
>it's all fucked up
>why is my manager in my old team
>I surely forgot to save
>realize that I never switched teams, but I had a dream I was playing and Inter offered me a job
Time to take a break
Why do I have the high seed?
Also, fuck this group.
ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN, ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN, ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN
I normally don't go for plug n' play tactics but this was high up on the list and looked semi-interesting because I'd never gotten an asymmetric 4-2-3-1 to work.
The guy puts way too many instructions on and A(D) has been shit since 2014 but once you fix the player instructions, this is a really interesting tactic - never done very fluid+much more closing down before, and you get like 5 CCC's a game with more cutbacks than I've ever seen
pls no bully I've gotten tired of my usual 4-4-2 diamond and I wanted new ideas
What I mean is, aside from having 10 PI for every outfielder and the shitty A(D)/BBM combo, the instruction combinations are pretty interesting, and this is the only tactic where I've ever seen my forwards reliably pass across goal despite not even having work ball into box checked
it's completely based but genuine box to box midfielders are pretty rare so maybe just stick to central mid. also if your striker is a big guy then target man (support) will work well
>build a nice 4-1-2-3 playing possession football with Wolfsburg in 2015
>get good players back from vacation and plug them in
>playing first round of German cup against Aue (literally fucking who)
>de bruyne injured
>lose 1-0 with 40% possession
The fuck am I doing wrong. Nothing ever goes write for me with this shit
I hate this game
>Nothing ever goes write for me with this shit
>Nothing ever goes write for me
>Nothing ever goes write
>ever goes write
I'm imagining how lonely those training sessions are.
>like 60 or so players training in and around the first team because there's no reserve or youth coach
>One coach, the manager and the ass man
>two people monitoring fitness
Enough to have at least 4 stars coaching in every category and average or lower workload. That goes for your senior squad, reserves and U19 team.
As for scouts, as many as you can have.
As for physios, a team of 3+ is good enough for a top side.
You're CL now right?
12+ is what I'd for across the board. Aim for 4 stars and average workload.
I've actually found quite a few coaches go for the U21/U18 coach before first team coach. Just keep looking.
Lower reputation coaches are usually easy to sign for the youth/reserve teams. In fact, you only need to worry about your youth squad, since English teams' reserves use the same coaches as the main squad. You should have big enough scouting knowledge so you can properly look for staff (as the list of staff you know is bound to your scouting knowledge).
if this keeps on I know where I'm going after I manage to do something decent in Spain
The best introduction to a club ever, and the best 10 game scoring streak.
Italian striker, Marco Negri had played up-and-down the Serie A to Serie D through the 90s. In his first season with Perugia in 1995-96, his 18 goals helped promote them to Serie A. In the top league he netted another 15, but the club were relegated. After the season he secured a move to Rangers for £3.5mil. In his first 10 games for Rangers he scored 23 goals, at least one in each game, and tied the Scottish single game scoring record with 5 against Dundee, which is probably the best goal return to start a club, and probably the best statistical 10 game stretch for a player in top flight European football. His 23 included 3 penalties. He finished the season with 32 goals in 29 games as Rangers finished 2 points behind champions Celtic. He finished the year 5th in the world golden boot and got a cheeky nomination for FIFA world player of the year.
His first 10 games and how many goals he scored:
04/08 2 v Hearts
23/08 5 v Dundee United
13/09 1 v Aberdeen
20/09 2 v St Johnstone
24/09 2 v Kilmarnock
27/09 1 v Motherwell
04/10 2 v Hibernian
18/10 4 v Dunfermline
25/10 1 v Dundee United
01/11 3 v Kilmarnock
The following season, Negri suffered a freak eye injury during a game of squash. Shortly after he contracted pneumonia, then a back injury, then had an operation to remove a hernia. From his recent autobiography he also revealed an AIDS scare that caused him to return to Italy. He only played 3 more games for Rangers in the following 2 years. He left Rangers in 2001, back to Italy where his best season was 8 goals in 19 games for Livorno in 2003 in the Serie B before retiring in 2005 back at Perugia.
Here's a compilation with all of his goals during that single season
>he'll never ever play for Benfica
He showed up in Benfica's youth team and had insane hype behind him. Our manager never used him for some reason even though everyone knew he was good, but Silva was loaned then sold to Monaco without ever playing in the first team. Went from a B team in the second tier to the first team of one of the biggest teams in France and delivered.
It's one of those stories that make your blood boil as a fan, when a kid whose dream was always to play for your heart's team, instead he will probably never do that.
Excellent. Scored 10 goals and got 7 assists for me last season.
Well he's a cunt off the field too.
I thought I'd get it. I've had Argies worse than him and with less caps get work permits. I've sent him out on loan to Turkey so hopefully should be able to get one soon - it worked for my Paraguayan.
I played as Rangers in a couple of the early CMs, pretty sure I had both him and Ally McCoist at one point and they were literally one of the best striking partnerships possible. Think bringing in fat Ronaldo might have been the only way to improve it. Unfortunately I was also a massive pleb so I back then so I dunno that I went more than two seasons deep.
DOES A RUMOR HAVE TO COME UP EVERY TIM I SCOUT A PLAYER
DOES THE ENTIRE WORLD HAVE TO KNOW WHEN I BID FOR SOMEBODY?
What attribute to train to make him become good?
dubs don't lie
here is a smily 4 yall
Mine's not even close to sorted.
Unfortunately there aren't even good staff members available and we can't afford to transfer any.
And the single player I've sold so far happened to have a 100% sell on clause.
Half of the 'long term' trips don't even know how to play the game.
>Journalist Jonathan Northcroft told 5 live Sport last night that he was asked to asked to not write about the world record £85 million fee when he interviewed Gareth Bale earlier in the season because Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't like to see that someone else cost more than him.
>Spend loadsa money on a new striker
>Gets injured in training by the old one a week later in training
Is this scripted or something?
None of the players in green play for me anymore, why are they there? I can only assume it's got something to do with transfer payments or clauses.
Went fuck it after going down 3-0 in the second leg of a UEFA Cup game, this happens
Can't go wrong with a player called Solomon fucking Machete lads
>tfw this is the best guy on the team
