>Chelsea neglecting a literal wonderkid and selling him to me
I love them so much
Who should I sign for my West Ham side
Iván 3,5 star pot, €10m (€11,5 with installments]
Byram 3,5 star pot, €11m (€13,5 with installments)
Why God, why?!
breathe some life into ye
yes, they're fucking casuals who bought into the hype thinking they were getting X-TREME FIFA TM MANAGER™, not the autism enabling file that is actually downloaded and played.
It's better than 15 in my opinion, haven't read any reviews and I haven't noticed any problems that 15 didn't already have. what are the guys on steam complaining about?
370 hours played so far.
Got it thanks. I think I'll dl it tonight.
All kinds of shit. It does seem rather nit-picky though. I was worried because they make it sound impossibly hard and that the AI is completely ridiculous.
United and 'Pool in fucking shambles, Norwich and Sunderland blazing.
What is this season.
Aren't West Ham supposed to be a fucking talent factory?
finally caved and bought 16. manager creator is funny. i assume everyone goes with bright green jacket, shirt and pants?
>people paid money to watch this
And then the next game this happens, all 3 goals were blooters too.
this papi chulo worth $25 million?
A few days before the last game of the season Dmitri Payet gets injured for up to 6 months.
Was just thinking that I was gonna have to get rid of him...
It's not like I was needing him or anything :^)
help, need away tactic.
doing pretty good at home, unbeaten in the league, but as soon as I play away, I get my dick kicked in so hard it inverts into itself
>starting as Arsenal
Pelle the exception. Signed Lucas because at the time, coquelin, wilshere and flamini were all injured. saw Lucas was available for half the price, as he was listed so I went for him. His value is still at around 14m so wasn't that bad.
Apart from the numerous cards (down to my tactics) he's done pretty well.
Klose was mainly to tutor the young players mental stats.
Well I thought we would've been knocked out.
>biggest shock of the first round
>fa cup winners and promotion to the premier league
>mid table and semi finals of Uefa cup
wew lads wish me luck.my team is absolute shite.
>mfw minifridge watches our match
very entertaining match that easily could've gone 3-3, just neither team can finish.
Having trouble with tactics in 16. Is there any merit to not changing the team tactics at all, and just editing the player instructions?
Then just changing to attacking and stuff like that in match depending on the result?
How do you guys do it.
Why should I ever play matches when my assman is way better than me?
download other people's tactics.
Honestly i think it varies with each team you're managing and what league you're in.
Just highlight your teams strengths or what some players are good at and go from there. I always prepare def positioning though and i only train players to play the role and position im asking them too.
Then it's all about micro managing, keep praising for good form, have team meetings etc.
Oh and i also rest my first eleven for one day immediately after a game, it ensures they are always over 90 % fitness for every game, then i just occasionally rest them now and again
>absolutely on fire yesterday
>boot up fm today
>lose 3-0 to bottom-placed team in the first game
hate this meme
completely depends on the team desu
like I'm playing some vanilla attacking 4-2-3-1 shit on my latest save but that would never have worked on my last save.
Help me out, family members
I desperately need a good Shadow Striker.
Chuks is £4m while Pavon is £2.4m
Wages offered are about equal, though Pavon wants a shorter contract (2y/4y)
Pavon is only accomplished at AMC, and would need some positional training.
Chuks seems to have reached his potential, while Pavon still has some way to go.
Pavón is cheaper and has more potential. That alone should tell you who to sign. Although, if you want a good first teamer, you should go for neither. And if you go for Pavón, don't sign him for anything under 3 years.
Hey, I'm going to let you in on something kept real quiet these years: Sarcasm rarely works when you only have text to use.
If it was a joke, it was neither funny nor had any indication that it was supposed to be.
If it was 'bait', it was also shit because it was posed as advice.
And I don't care if you do or don't, suggesting it to others is enough of a reason to fuck off.
>download other people's tactics
>Honestly was the word used straight after
Sarcasm is very easily understood via text maybe i should have said 'Honestly though' to avoid people like yourself.
>If it was a joke, it was neither funny nor had any indication that it was supposed to be.
Are you being serious?
>If it was 'bait', it was also shit because it was posed as advice.
back to reddit mate.
Perhaps not, but I have a limited budget (£6m) and I don't feel my rep has been boosted yet after finishing 2nd with Utrecht.
If you have any reccomendations I'd appreciate it, but Shadow Strikers don't exactly grow on trees you know.
>We did always have him as all right but I have personally said sorry to him because there was a long period where he was on loan at other clubs and we didn't think he was going to reach the heights that he has done.
>I met him at the London Football Awards and he is known for playing a lot of computer games and I said 'we get 0.5 percent wrong, you were one that we got wrong', and he said to me one of the reasons he was trying so hard was to make sure his stats were better in the game.
>He's been a revelation for a lot of people and was just a late bloomer and was probably suited better to playing Premier League football than Championship football which is rare and usually the other way.
On top of everything here I must also greentext
>no one wants to join my team
>all my good young players want to leave to play in a better division
>big teams don't even offer me their value
>board gets mad if I don't win every game
>Ajax wins lol
fuck eredivise I am this close to selling out
>The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, despite the appointment of Zinedine Zidane.
>It suggests the club are prepared to off-load Ronaldo in an attempt to "create a more team-orientated philosophy at the club".
God why the fuck do clubs sell then resign players the next year its ridiculous
Utd sold Depay for £36m, bought him back for £51m
Madrid bought Morata back for £25m, sold him back to Juve for £30m
>Reminder that Spurs sold Robbie Keane to Liverpool and bought him back 6 months later
I mean it does happen too often in FM definitely but people who act like it never happens irl are just flat out wrong
eh I just forgot to set them because I was building a more defensive formation before but then I thought fuck it I want possession
I can see this completely shitting itself though because >league 1
after 4 matches we're 6 goals for, 3 conceded. I would settle for a truly boring game at some point soon.
Unfortunately we're not too good at actually passing, and the board won't give me any more money since it thinks being in the fourth division is for shitters despite it being 24th in the world (including the other three that I added).
Rate my tictactocs
I still have no idea what role I want for DM, though
I want mine to stay back and cover for the CWB that is currently going up the pitch as the IF cuts inside to pose a danger towards the opposition goal
>>Another team bids 900k
Three possible scenarios
1) They included a ton of clauses making the ultimate value at least the same as yours if not more
2) You are a biggish rep club and they figure they can afford to ask you for more but the player has been unsettled by transfer rumours meaning they are willing to accept less from certain teams that are not yet in negotiation because they know they will lose him and won't be able to bleed other teams for bigger sums of money.
3) Other team is substantially bigger than you or a favoured club of the player so whilst the club do not feel pressured to sell to you and will ask for larger sums they know refusing him a sale to that club will upset him so they are more willing to let him go there even if it does mean he goes for a smaller sum.
Also I guess a few other things like being a rival club, being in the same league, manager liking/disliking you/the other manager, existing agreement between clubs about transfers, all sorts that weigh into it.
>team actually works together to score
tactic is working
I would personally go with a CM(d) or BWM(s).
CM(D) together with an Anchor Man seems a bit too defensive for my taste. BWM(S) seems like a better choice, however I do not have the right players for the role nor the money to buy a good player... Maybe if I sell someone in the meantime.
yeah, made perfect sense to sack a manager for finishing 4th only to hire someone who got sacked from Arsenal for finishing 7th
How do I get these buffoons to actually execute the counter
cm(d) works by just sitting in the midfield when you're in possession, but basically the same as a cm(s) when you don't have the ball.
considering you'll have your three up front, plus the AP and two wing backs supporting them, I wouldn't feel as though you'd need another body up front and him doing nothing in midfield would actually be more beneficial than pushing forward (by drawing defenders out and providing an easy way to cross the ball to the other side of the pitch).
On the whole, the BWM would probably be the best bet as he would press high up the pitch, but do essentially the same as a cm(d) in offense.
I wouldn't bother selling anyone for it, just use an average midfielder who can make simple passes and easy tackles as a cm(d) and he should do well.
You would start by making a tactic that's not retarded.
>7/11 loan players
Now this is what I call football
Dandy looking stylish with his yellow suit
Playing sexy football, shabadadoo.
>tfw new uni
>tfw no longer neet
>tfw made friends
>tfw slowly becoming a normie
>tfw I'll soon be like Marq
>tfw will no longer be able to tribble
>playmaker gets injured early in the game
>his replacement gets injured 20 minutes later during the same game
>replacement's replacement gets injured in training 2 days later
I dominated ligue 2 in my first year using this, but I think my team is just too shit too do anything in ligue 1
>it's a your players seemingly forget how to do anything match
My assman even had the audacity to claim they played 'very well'
They had 8 clear cut chances in the first half for fuck's sake
tfw you beat Mourinho's Chelsea in your 4th season 7-2 at Old Trafford with your B team
Depay Ozil Lozano
Shaw Galloway Fosu-Mensah Luchkevych
Subs used: Kovacic for Fosu-Mensah, Bruno Fernandes for Knafi, Mario Fernandes for Luchkevych
what the fuck, do you have like 20 Saudi sugar daddies
god, that smug pepe feel when you get slaughtered all game and then score with your only half chance
>When you're getting roasted so bad even your nickname roasts you
>How much time is this going to take away from my life? Tempted to start playing...
this save makes me wish that car had killed me
>tfw have one tactic that works everywhere and it's wingerless
>tfw arriving at Sevilla and turfing Konoplyanka out immediately because he can't play AMC
>tfw fan backlash
>that one regen you bought for cheap you had no real hope for that turns out to be really good
Still has a star left in his potential too
whats the position where you can never find a good player. where you settle for a 3 star and have 4+star guys everywhere else, and every time you lose you think it must have been because of that position?
how the fuck do I stop this card machine? the Sociedad game was my first in charge, he's gotten sent off 3 times in 13 games
Go hard or go home.
>talks shit for no reason
>gets sacked after losing to us
>played four matches including cup
>20+ fouls a game
Is it worth adding to the collection? I noticed its on sale.
>In Serie D
Nice loyal I like it
maybe you guys dont even invest in youth coaching but for me that's pretty bad. I always expect a usable player at least.
>I invest heavily in youth facilities, scouting and investment
>I invest heavily in investment
youth coaching is the key
Spain is cheese
Unbeaten at home in the league, come up against the "underdogs xD" and the memes flow
>The creator of Football Manager has apologised to Tottenham striker Harry Kane for his low statistics in the computer game and says Premier League players contact him to try to boost their ratings.
you do realize that intake quality is relative to the quality of your squad in the first place, right?
eventually your whole squad is going to be near world class, and then no matter how much you've put into youth recruitment, youth coaching, training facilities, and scouting, your intakes will be dogshit more often than not. much, much more often.
Grats on not dying HC. Have a qt
DoF found me this, should I bang? For 2M
CWBs in general
I can't remember the exact rules, but in England it's different. They can't do it 6 months before the contracts are up to another English team. It may be 3 months prior, or not at all. I've definitely poached English players with 6 months left from a different country.
Though I don't trust Czech players. They look amazing as youth, then stop developing early.
So how about them corner tic taccies. Whatever I do I just cannot seem to score from them
>FM13 had a lack of quality Brazilian CD regens
>Stock up on them in 15
>have too many
>still want to buy more
Pic for Denmark
It's a FM16 thing, since strikers are retarded and defenders make too many last minute blocks you get an extraordinary amount of corners, therefore they made it harder to score them
I seem to get the most success by having atleast one attack from deep and one standing on the edge of the box where you aim the majority of corners (you do get some cases of the corner taker passing it almost all the way back to the half way line because he's retarded or something)
>We love a good training ground bust-up. They only get reported every so often but when they do they are always a good source of drama. File this firmly under 'reported' but according to the Telegraph, Chelsea's Diego Costa and Oscar had to separated by "stunned" (aren't they always) team-mates in training on Thursday after a poorly-timed tackle by the latter.
>A source told Telegraph Sport: “Oscar’s challenge was outrageous, it was straight into the knee of Costa and could have done him some real damage. That sparked a brawl between them and the other players had to stop it.”
>tfw you don't even notice your first choice striker is no longer injured because your backup striker is in the form of his career
Had to pause it and just reaffirm myself that this is fm so I won't win this game. Expect the inevitable screenshot coming up when we draw 2 - 2 or lose 2 - 3 :))))
this game will prove me right
I'm starting to get serious doubts about how to develop this guy... He could also become a mean CWB. What do you guys think? I'm currently training him to be a BBM.
how the fuck is jack cork my MVP 7 months into the season, being played out of position at IWB the entire time?
this fucking guy
he has around TEN key passes a game, and HOOOOLY SHIT he had 20 in an FA Cup game against >wolves, i know its a lower tier team but THIS IS A RIGHT BACK
shits broken yo
>being played out of position at IWB the entire time?
im stapler so you'll just shitpost about the formation, all you need to know is he is le cut inside man but from right back, he has runners in front of him everywhere though since routledge/gomis/sinclair are my forwards, and he has sigurdsson alongside moving about
like look at these performances
his 17 concentration is overpowered as hell
Do you like the new LA Galaxy logo?
rightbacks in general are op
I thought they'd fix this shit seeing as this happened all the time in 15 too but fucking hell
glad they dropped the galaxy part cause that shit is the best example as to why usa FOOTBALL teams are cringe and shit.
have fun :)
because I usually get banned for some fucking reason when I do
Lads what would you say are the best roles for each position, the ones you always use when you want to just make a plug and play formation? do you just stick with the standard roles like cm, fullback etc or do you use CWB/B2B etc?
Such a spirited display. Damn shame Monks got sent off for nothing, really
I swear a cross like this goes off the post once every 2 games for me
Poacher - Deep Lying Forward
Central midfielder (d) - Roaming Playmaker
Ball winning midfielder (s)
Complete Wing Back - Limited Defender - Limited Defender - Complete Wing Back
I've been playing my right back as an attacking wing back and all three players I've played there have performed game after game, on the odd occasion they don't do well, it's normally because my LB is doing it instead
to celebrate the future of gaming arriving i made some oc i hope it can serve as a thread starter one day
You know the rules
>You will never be Oscar and have a threesome with your sister and your wife
>tfw only child
eh I'm american so she'd either be a lardass or a sjw/vegan cunt anyway.
>Second year of management
>Sacked from first squad in League 2 in first year for shit performance
>Go on fourteen match unbeaten run
>Top of League 2
>Get linked with championship side that's in relegation zone after they sack their manager
could you be more beta you fuck
anyone know any good assmen at league 1-ish level?
I see Miles is making the financial dealings as realistic as possible for certain clubs, pointing no fingers
>this is the best youth candidate we got
>"(Head of Youth Development) David Adams has had a notable influence in bringing through many of the players, including Stacy Long[...] with his coaching style and personality"
>Adams contract mutually terminated
fucking retard wouldn't know quality if it spat in his face
They fucking wished.
Feels good going back to this save when I'm depressed.
they even look the same
NFL-style nicknames are at least less cringey in a single-entity league than Europandering like Atlanta United Football Club, New York Manchester City Football Club, the City of Sporting Kansas, and Real Salt Lake (in a republic).
Oscar is underrated
>selling more than you spend
SPOTTED THE KIKE
this shit needs to stop
at least it's the babby cup so I kinda want to lose
why is he playing so shit
left wing, right wing, left back
shit everywhere i don't get it
i only just listed him
and its not my tactics since every other player on the wing plays fine, routledge, sinclair, hell even playing fucking shelvey at AML worked out fine
he's like the opposite of your generic fast black winger though
all mentals and technique and average pace
it came with the skin, I'll probably get rid of it after this game 2bh
also I really want to fine this guy
the scoreboard is cool but why are all the lines fucked up
its surprising he's not at all as good as he used to be
i don't get it
i feel like he'd only fit as a left mid in a 3-4-3 of some kind
i change the roles for ayew specifically all the time whenever i play him, i've tried everything
i tried making him a raumdeuter with an overlapping left back, then i tried him on the left, all different roles
i don't fuckin get it
how would you say you could get the best out of him????
fuck off FM doesn't mirror that like IRL
i put in any other player into any role and they play fine but he's still shit, missing sitters left and right, never able to beat his man, literally only having a highlight once in a blue moon where a defender takes the ball away from him
all he's good for at this point is being a defensive supersub, only good highlights he ever has is him tackling
lel, or you know, its far more complex than people give it credit for and whilst it doesn't work perfectly many people are completely blind and oblivious to the perfectly logical reasons for certain things happening.
what is form and how do I find it
Too angry at a manager that's only 2 points off the league lead to show up. The official attendance was 19k but there is just absolutely no way that's right
Mate don't even try to defend the AI's squad building and transfer ability. They are complete shit at it, and it's the one thing that SI should be working on improving. Because after a few years every league apart from the big ones will have many teams with fucked up squads.
HOLY SHIT NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT
>SEVEN key passes (at least 1 pass to an assist, maybe 2 idr)
>fouled 5 times
>3 shots (1 goal)
played him as a defensive forward (defend duty)
thats how he's used for swansea irl now, i should've done it more only used it once before, fucking hell quite the performance he was all over the pitch
which top euro league has the best rules about foreign players?
>he's an incredibly professional player.
so he is, i transfer listed him and he gives the best performance of his career under me lmao
>wanting ayew to play through balls
nope, box to box if anything
i would've tried him as a box to box player but i have sigurdsson shelvey and ki who are all great and fit my passing style
>winger in the midfield position.
when trying to hold leads thats where i put him, as defensive winger or wide midfielder
>forgetting to attach the picture in 2016
