This election proved the rulebook in terms of how you poll needed to be rewritten. All of the so-called conventional wisdom went out the window.

Of course, there were other factors. The media tried to make voting Trump taboo to the point where some of the people polled neglected to mention who they were actually voting for. There was also probably some manipulation on the level that they thought that if they sold that Trump had no chance that he actually wouldn't.

Raising the minimum wage to such an unrealistic figure will decrease overall productivity even further and that hurts competitiveness. It's just simple math.

If on the other hand someone should regulate the housing market and -- God forbid -- do something against soaring rents and realty prices, a raised minimum wage might become unnecessary.

It only delays the inevitable.
It's one of the ideas how to keep poor useless idiots from rioting until they can be phased out completely.

Useless people will become more useless, minimum wage keeps those useless people who manage to get a job from hunger riots. Without it idiots will riot before ((they)) can automate everything from manual labor to security forces.

Then minimum wage will drop to 0.
Then all the unprivileged will starve and die.
Then those privileged enough to be born into rich families will live in an automated utopia.
