I don't mean to blog post, I just need to vent.
I grew up outside of detroit, my family was among the few white families that stayed in the city and got fucked over by the car industry. We were the only whites on the street. A black kid used to climb our fence and shit in our yard because his house didn't have running water. My parents moved to the south and my extended family moved to northern michigan, with the exception of my grandfather who moved to Dearborn. My neighborhood wasn't the best growing up in the south, the projects were nearby and crime was high, but it was better than Detroit by far. Overtime the older population of the neighborhood started to die off, their houses were seized by the banks and sold to Habitat. These home were given to refugees from honduras who brought nothing but crime and filth. It wasn't long after one tried to break into our house that we moved to the country. My grandfather experienced the same in dearborn, refugees forced him from his home.
This is our future. Running until there is no where left to go.
