My Gaerne SG10s are probably the most comfortable boots I've ever worn.

Broke in fine in just a couple of hours because they have an actual hinge built in for ankle movement.

I wear them on both my bikes, I'll admit one is a dirt bike with meme wheels and the other is a huge adv bike.

Might be an issue getting the thick toes under the shifter with the room they allow for normal street bikes.

japan realized that overspecialization made more money. bikes are relatively cheap compared to cars, and people have no problem buying cars that cost five times as much as bikes, so why not design your bikes in a way that encourages buying more than one?

there's always aftermarket but the prices are steep, especially compared to OEM solutions that wouldn't even chance the cost of the bike.

Has anybody on here taken a majorly long road trip on a motorcycle? My friends have planned for a road trip spanning most of the states (we live in canada) and I was hoping to find out how realistic this is and if anybody has had any experiences like this. Would this be possible on a cruiser and if so, what would you recommend? Im hoping somebody can kind of give me some tips or what to expect in order to kind of temper my friend's expectations because I feel like they are only seeing this as a best case scenario situation without taking into account the wear on the bike, the amount of actual time a huge trip like this would take, etc.

how long in general should a street bike clutch last if it was treated marginally well? picked up an 80s honda with 36.5k and the clutch as slowly been slipping more and more as i drive it, its to the point where in 3rd through 5th it just slips up like a go kart clutch if i give it 3/4 throttle. when i first got it i purposefully tested for slip in 4th and 5th and got none. i got it for essentially nothing so if i have to spend a hundo on the clutch i wouldnt be upset.

I'm shaking because I just took out a loan for more than anything I've bought and it's a shitty time financially for me leaving an ex and cutting off a bunch of friends and getting my own place and just starting my new job a few months ago, but to stay fucking sane I finally went the fuck out a finally got a bike! I've had the gear sitting for 2 fucking years after getting my endorsement and I had fixed up a bike before moving out but left it behind and hardly actually got to ride so it's been like 3 years since I've ridden. rusty as shit, broke, single, no friends, but at least I finally got a fucking bike

Any idea what's wrong with my drz? The bike loves to stall out from a stop. I always have to rev it up close to 6k rpm to get it going from a stop and it's never a slow roll, it's always an abrupt acceleration.

It some times stalls out when I rev it in neutral. Like the bike is parked and I am just give it some throttle and it just stalls.

I cant seem to replicate the problem to figure out what's wrong.

If you want a moped then get an older one from when they still used 2 stroke engines. They can supposedly hit 50mph+ with some engine tuning (since the engines had to be detuned to hit the 30mph or sometimes lower max speed most places allow by law) and 60mph+ if you get a kit to increase displacement.

Parts are cheap and maintenance is easy. The engines are bulletproof, most issues stem from the charging system so if you keep up on that it should be good.

How can I keep myself warm at 50-60 MPH on my scooter (No bully)?

The main issue I get is my legs and face gets way too cold and down my throath and neck area.

I don't want any motorcycle gear or anything like that but clothing tips would be appreaciated.

Road King is better than the softail. Surprisingly, my dad's softail handles pretty decently, but it's neutered by ground clearance. Turn in is excellent, but it scrapes before you get any actual fun turning in.
