I use a great mod called box cam. In the first webm I took advantage of it freaking out at f5/f7 cams for a cool effect.
If you download it, shift+right/left arrow will give you a cool effect that is easily replicated every time. It's perfect for the countless PTP tracks that do not have cams. Like this one:

I haven't got any videos/webm, I don't play AC much any more. I think it is the game rather than my technique, why should the Ferraris and BMWs be so hard to control when all the other cars are fine including ones added in mods and I don't have the same problem with any other racing game.

So pretty much a huge map like 4x just cause 3 and a bunch of dungeons, towns, quests, normal rpg stuff scattered about, but the only way to get around is in your car and go explore obviously when you first get your car its stock but the more you lvl up your character the more you feel the need to explore get to better areas. So you need off road equipment. Also you would need to eat/rest so your car would need some sort of camper or something. gameplay is third person shooter or fps maybe fps so that when you are in the drivers seat it is maximum comfy. offroad enthusiasts and /k/'s dream

I got pretty into that DiRT on gamepad, played 2 and 3 and was really excited when rally came out. Just got a G29 and I'm having a really hard time adjusting. I just can't turn the wheel fast enough... I guess the key to using gamepad is to make small twitchy adjustments. I got pretty good at recovering believe it or not.

Monontyu goes 10/10 for the whole thing in a group B rally car, and it still took him 13 minutes to do the whole thing. Imagine how much it will take for us to do it, while we skid around every corner. Klausenpass might be a better idea, but it might have a bit too many straights. /ovgGT6/ Spec Miata reached its thrilling conclusion on Sunday during testing conditions on the Nürburgring GP-Strecke. src_ej6 was thoroughly unperturbed by the intermittent downpours and managed to keep his podium streak intact. bdubclub was every bit the equal of src on the soaked track and scored a second and a first, putting him sixth overall. dethadder ran competently in both heats and managed to earn enough points the climb back into second overall. Poor starts in both heats meant that BlackDog ran lower in the pack and was unable to capitalise on the few mistakes that deth made.

Basically, when learning, start off with something torquey that doesn't have a very peaky powerband. You need to learn to control the car first and when the tyres are going to slip and whatnot.

Admittedly I learn in a Viper so I might not be the best teacher.

I did some testing with various tires, and I think SH work just as well. Compared to SS you need more throttle control, but the cars are less twitchy. CS tires are a step too far though, and since we're using fully prepped muscle cars with over 500 hp it's probably fair to provide at least some grip.

If you want to do testing yourself, I suggest using a standart car like the Charger Super Bee. The premium ones are generally less hectic.
