What is the "most lo-fi" indie/black metal/noise album you know?
How far can an artist go regarding bad recording quality without completely ruining it?
It might be subjective because not everyone can digest noisy/bad sound, but sometimes it serves the songs right

For me, probably stuff like Conquest. It's stupid easy to find fantasy ambient of all different stripes as well as its electronic mutations, but new and good military marches are a lot tougher. Which is funny considering the popularity of military games.
