Can you rec more albums like this? I listened to it so much that it's getting old for me. I like the fact that it's an ambient record but not so much so that it's only drone sounds

Just listen to more ambient techno
>>72506092
Some album or artist in particular?
>>72506058
I can't listen to it anymore, I upgraded my headphones and hadn't noticed until that point quite how awful the sound quality is. Feels bad man.

Just check out this list

'Biosphere - substrata' too

The sound quality is exactly how Aphex intended it to be.
>>72506058
I mean, there's tons of good ambient techno out there. Check out Global Communications, Voices from the Lake, etc.

I doubt that to be honest. It's fucking appalling on good audio equipment.
>>72506319
Maybe you got a bad copy. Did you download it?

>newfags always want to be spoonfed instead of using the sticky like it was intended, but instead of doing that are cluttering the board with stuff that don't really need their on thread. Then again it is 4chan so why bother with this shit
The orb , orbital, future sound of London , u-ziq. Just look into warp records and planet mu

if he released a newly recorded version with syro-level production would you listen to that?
>>72506341
I have a flac copy and also Tidal (lossless), sounds shite either way. It's still alright on the K701s, I might just switch headphones for it now and then as I love the music itself.

Yes, definitely.
I know it's a very different kettle of fish but the sound quality on Underworld's remastered Second Toughest in the Infants and Dubnobasswithmyheadman is superb, if it Was at that standard I would listen to it on repeat for a week.

Try something different
He's not ambient, but Richie Hawtin is only DJ anywhere near AX. If you've not had the pleasure of listening to one of his sets, have an eargasm on me

Autechre's first album and B12s electro soma have a similar comfy early 90s experimental vibe

I'm convinced that RDJ made SAW 85-92 as a counterpart to 808 state's 'Ninety' definitely give that a listen and you'll see the similarities
This and Amber
