so I paid this guy $600 to design a cover for my new wave album, I told him to "go crazy" and "experiment a little" and this is what he sent me.
what do you guys think? Would this album cover turn you off? I'm not sure how to feel about it.. I mean I spent 600 fucking bucks on this thing and it's kinda cheap looking. not sure what to do.

For someone who prides himself on being a contraian his top lists have some of the most basic opinions out there.
It's easy to be a "tough" critic when you only listen to terrible music.
If you want true contrarianism, ask turny for his top and bottom 20.
Does /mu/ like death metal?

I just listened to this for the first time. Can you guys tell me if I like this album or not?
This is their best album (i'm tempted to say BY FAR), in comparison with the old ones it's a lot darker, the flow of the songs is excellent, more epic and it has all these new sounds with a retro-kavinsky vibe that fit them SO well .
Call the police is the peak of the album, all those distorded guitars and the '' WE ALL, WE ALL '' sounds amazing. It's a very catchy album and Black Screen serves perfectly as a closing track, slow song that reminds me of On the Level (Demarco) a little bit.
My AOTY, and the chemistry it's still definitely there (something i had my doubts about)
American Dream is the peak of the album.
cant wait for fantano to shit on it and watch /mu/ tear itself apart

I will extend the chart size if need be.
What do you do when you hear a new album and it's one of the best things you've heard this year, then you look it up and find out it's a video game soundtrack?

I enjoy it anyway because I'm not autistic

WELL I DON'T HAVE THAT LUXURY
>>74897264
Then I will explain in more words: I would like it anyway because I don't care about why a piece of music is composed, but just about the sounds
is skrillex dubstep or brostep and what is brostep
is it really that bad, I enjoyed Reflektor
>>74897126
It's bad that you enjoy corporate indie like Arcade Fire. Back to Urban Outfitters to buy digitally mastered vinyl, nu male.
>>74897126
it's a shittier reflektor
listen to the singles exclusively
I don't know either. I only listened to title track and it was nice
