The pacing is shit and ruins the entire album.
It sounds like Brand New with all the best parts of Brand New missing.
U2 gets too much hate from the average person. IMO they haven't released a good single since "Electrical Storm" from the Best of 1990 - 2000 compilation, but they really were one of the greatest mainstream rock acts of the 20th century.
People need to look past Vertigo, Bono's exponentially increasing douchebaggery, South Park, the iTunes album, etc.
Favorite Sabaton album?
I just started listening and mine's either Carolus Rex or the Last Stand
Go away, Tyler

YOU LIKE THE BODY
but which one?
Vocaroo thread! Record some idea, post something you're working on, share and just generally be friendly.
A song I'm working on. Might be a little too slow, and there's some mess ups, but it's one of my favorite songs I've written.

Made that up on the spot
Pretty shit.
Whatever
It was naive to think that I would finally have something that worked out okay. Shouldn't have fantasized so much. Rationally thinking I'm just not right for anything like that in the moment.
Sorry for such a bitch blog post guys. Just needed to vent.
Does anyone like slowcore?

If you're living in the first world and haven't already tried devoting all your time to working really hard, do that; if you don't feel good afterwards do what you will, but at least you wont have to worry about money / being uncomfortable, and then, and only then, attempt to start a revolution or kill yourself or something.
Or if you do feel good, join a club, or go to bars and socialize.
If you already did that, then listen to >>75005117
Stop listening to jazz
Any other /mu/tants who unironically enjoyed this?
Define enjoy? If you mean listening to the entirety of the album at work with a friend and literally rolling on the floor in hysterics, then yes, I heavily enjoyed this album.

I still love that album cover. It makes me laugh so much.
yeah, I do like some songs. Adventures, Handle with Care, the title track and Embers.
Are there any good hip hop/indie rock blogs like PigeonsAndPlanes used to be?
>>75004792
No because reviewing hip hop means lowering your standards to a dangerous level
any blog that reviews hip hop ruins its reviews of all other music genres as the blog is by definition comfortable with mediocrity

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed how they've gone to shit. I don't know why they sold it to Complex. feelsbadman

Everyone seems to like it and I don't know if it's me or people are deaf. It's a 5/10 at best and I don't know how Daft Punk agreed to be part of this.
>>75004715
Weakest Daft Punk song imo ( I know I know, it's just a colab but still)
Can someone pls post an example of a poorly mastered song? Thx.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=N99PulN7xSY
>>75004700
While the mixing is something (almost) tottally objetive, I think that mastering is somewhat more subjetive, because it deppends on it's totality on the market standart and on the overall sound of the album.
Jenny Death has really really poor mixing and mastering for example.
The entirety of raw power by the stooges

Indonesian melodic folk dance music "dangdut"
It changed a lot with the economic crisis that hit Indonesia and access to new technology, but the rich instrumentation of the original dangdut music produced from the 70s to the late 80s is the best
These days the word "dangdut" also refers to electronic dance music using the same drum rhythms, but it's not so good

His critique of the parliamentary system seemed really out of place, especially in when the chapter of his autobiography is about his childhood. I can't deny it was well thought through, but please, get an editor!
