Be honest /mu/ did the bad reviews and fan backlash to this drive him to kill himself?
hybrid theory is 9/11
living things is 8/10
I do, They started getting good on 7/20/2017.
Does /mu/ appreciate The Wonder Years?
They're a good modern pop-punk band and I like them.
I really like them.
Didn't like No Closer to Heaven as much as the other albums, but I still go and see them if they are in town.
I find Soupy a little too self-righteous though.

>Didn't like No Closer to Heaven as much as the other albums
Man, I didn't either at first, but the more I listened to it, the more i enjoyed it.
Yeah, he's a bit pretentious, but damn he's got some excellent lyrics.
Why are they such a shitty band
>>73819367
I don't know why you would listen to The Smiths when Belle and Sebastian albums exist.
>>73819367
they're good though
if you only listen to s/t and hatful of hollow its easy to forget the ever tried to go any further which is helpful
Guaranteed replies.
2/10 I guess, but please go back to troll school.

Does /mu/ understand how good this is? From the arrangement to Joni's powerful performance, this is as good as it gets for me.

holy fucking shit
i listened to this album (its supposedly the best DT album) and it was easily the worst piece of shit i have ever listened to. Why the fuck do people like this cheesy garbage? It's literally the most cringeworthy fucking shit ive ever listened to. How do people stand this shit? Not to mention the fucking album cover, which is a godamn eyesore. Seriously, how the fuck does a group of people get together and say "oh yeah, THIS is fine". I mean, how shit do you have to be at aesthetics to decide this is fine? Lord fucking knows what their other albums sound like, i imagine it would be the equivalent of whatever Guantanamo bay prisoners are forced to listen to.
Basically, fuck this band and especially the vocalist, because that "singing" was the most cringe-inducing shit ever put on a tape.
I heard Metropolis when I was 10 and it was fucking magical. You have to have been young and innocent and impressionable for this to sound good. If you're old enough to post on this site it's probably too late already.

has ever psychedelic pop/rock ever reached this masterpiece? also, psychedelic pop thread
>>73819183
tht album isn't a masterpiece
good album. but it has lots of low's on it.
Side A is the shit but side B is pretty lacking. I guess the point is that side A is the wild psych stuff and side B is mostly r&b but I would have preferred a complete psychedelic record personally.
Todd got really adventurous on this album and I totally love it, but to me it's always felt like Todd's take on The Mother's of Invention's albums Freak Out!, We're Only In it For the Money, and Uncle Meat that kind of super eccentric music that I really enjoy from the 60s. Not saying that Todd didn't get original with the release, I'm only making the point that the album isn't some kind of unique masterpiece, so to speak. One of my fav Todd albums though.

*also listen to Healing if you want more experimental Todd
>tfw just listened to Ram

Hard to express emotion in the form of text. I'm sure it's a different story in person.

People grieve in different ways. Some people try to remain stoic and in control and hide their emotions and basically suppress them.

Hey there /mu/.
I just deleted everything in my Spotify since it all bored me.
Suggest some good music for me. I like lo-fi, sad, whatever. Music that you would listen to on a long car ride through scenic locations. It just has to be on Spotify.
Thanks in advance!
