Is there a genre /mu/ has worse taste in than punk?

Have you or have you not heard Stop Jap?

Hip Hop just because they think overrated pop rapper Kanye can somehow be the best.

replace it with Kendrick
Holy shit. I just started listening to Knife Man and on the third song I'm bombarded with a bunch of bullshit about white privilege and how straight white males have everything handed to them on a plate. This band is the biggest fucking meme I've ever come across; they literally changed their name because the "jihad" part was "problematic". What the fuck is up with these guys and why are they constantly brought up here?
yeah theyre gay
i think everybody on here at this point knows that
>>74155249
The worst thing about it, is that thr later half of that album focuses alot about homelessness, which mostly effects the dreaded straight white male. Like, they're being willfully ignorant.

The quality is objectively worse. You know all audio engineers uses digital source to make their stuffs right? Preferring vinyl is one thing but you got to be a next-level autist to think analog sounds superior than digital. CDs are objectively superior technology, in terms of sound they will be closer to what a producer intends for you to hear. A well recorded and mastered CD will always sound more clear than a digital pressing on Vinyl. CD or digital is always the superior form for clarity, vinyl is a hobby but those who say that it sounds superior is justifying their overspent money rather than the quality of the sound itself. Ignore those autists, they're like talking to kids who put rims and spoilers on their cars and claims it helps the car go a little faster.
Digital will always sound better than analog. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

But why is it a hobby?

Vinyl looks cooler. I can hang them on me wall - Ringo
I love them and all of their solo projects, but the sheer size of their discography also intimidates me.
>>74154650
Really? There aren't many studio albums, but there are a lot of live albums, which I'll admit to you
>>74154718
I meant more for their solo material. YMO themselves aren't too ridiculous. Sakamoto has something like 70 albums of his own though. Hosono has 10 bands. They're all stupidly prolific and I've enjoyed everything I've listened to so far.
Listening oils General
Discuss oils, application and techniques. Pebblefags and Treefags not welcome.
I recently bought a vat of Grenouille Oil for half price, but I don't like the sound curve I get from it. Do you guys have any other uses for it besides standard application and warmth of ears?
>>74154056
what application method have you been using with that one?
Is this a meme? Are you oiling your ears up?
>>74154075
Standard rub'n'frub. Why?

We're halfway through the year. What are the best albums of 2017 so far? Pic possibly related
My AOTY so far too. Best comeback album in recent memory
Has to be my fav too.

this is only temporary, the new alvvays is probably going to blow this out of the water for me
This is Tyler's worst album and is only getting praised because it's his least edgy and most accessible. The summer-orientated production and cover art already makes it feel dated, I can't imagine listening to this during any other season. He wanted to focus more on producing this time around and as a result the actual rapping is mostly boring filler. If he wanted to release an instrumental album he should've just released an instrumental album.
The best songs are Foreword (which shouldn't have been the opener), See You Again, Who Dat Boy, I Ain't Got Time!, 911/Mr. Lonely, and November. Everything else is garbage. Boredom is like a watered down version of FIND YOUR WINGS.

The albums on the side you don't pick are erased from history.
What do you choose?
