Field Repair

Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.

Is the HG Red Weapons Set compatible with IBO kits (specifically the Barbatos backpack)?

My MG Banshee norn was a piece of shit.

One loose knee joint, one loose knee psycho armor/frame, armor on the psycho frame at the forearms keep falling off when the shield is attached cuz its too heavy, shield connectors are also loose, and the moulding lines caused by a moulding defect on the v-fin that juts forward made it seperate in half (it didn't break, it's like it was moulded to snap in two without effort instead of being one solid piece of v-fin).

Not to mention the extra grenade launcher pack is a piece of shit design that gets in the way of the torso and the backpack, preventing it from swiveling.

What the fuck bandai. get your shit together ffs. maybe get some better quality control workers.

Its just the one end of the swing arms that don't connect. The weapons themselves just have a basic 3mm hole. I'm mostly miffed they made the lame red warrior one and then never did one for the leopard da vinci weapons despite it actually using 3mm on everything and all the weapons being perfectly set up on their own runners separate from the bodies runners.

So I'm picking out of every RG available right up until the Z'Gok, what should I? My main choices right now are either MK II or Aile Strike. I've often heard that the MK II is the sturdiest and most stable of them all around, what about the Strike? It looks potentially extremely back-heavy, but maybe they got around that using some magic?

Besides some extra panel lines the RG Strike doesn't really add anything that the MG Ver.RM doesn't already do. It is quite back-heavy due to the Aile Striker but a bit of super glue tightening the waist and hips is fine for that. The RG MkII is still the better buy without question.

Why is it that Gunpla General seems to be the only place on /m/ that gets really affected by shitposting? I can understand the IBO threads since shitposting comes naturally to any currently airing Gundam show, and to a lesser extent any other currently airing show. The SRW Generals are fine, the Kamen Rider/Sentai Generals are fine, the Symphogear Generals are heiki hecchara, even the smaller generals like the 70s/80s mechs never get this bad.

I wouldn't care too much about this, but it's been like this constantly for over eight months now with no signs of improvement. Between the image spamming, misplaced filenames, pornposting, snapfag, and the lack of moderation team attention it makes me question what's going on here when I see that gif of the closeup of some chick getting fucked get posted and deleted multiple times in a row, but someone can go and fill up a thread with GBWC entries and reposts from here and /toy/ each thread and almost always get away with it.

Just hide the spam, if image limit gets hit then a new thread will be made. There's unfortunately not much that any individual can do about the spamming since none of the higher ups seem to want to acknowledge problems on this board. I'm using the Tamiya basic hobby kit, and glancing at my completed models, I'm noticing that the included nippers sort of suck at cutting with any sort of accuracy. What's a nice sharp pair of nippers that will flawlessly cut something out of the runner with a minimum amount of fuss and superb accuracy?
