Field Repair

Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.

Can't wait till end of the month to get some more tools, like topcoat, in order to clean this zaku's look up. As much as making this Zaku has been... miserable? It makes me want to build more of these old MSV kits. Too bad I haven't seen them reprinted in last two years.

I had fun with my tank, was a bit different than normal kits. Although it's not painted yet(with more than gundam markers anyhow) or coated because of the awful cold.
While not MSV, I have the old Ball, Guntank and 1/250 G-Armor sets which will be fun too.

None of them are made yet because I don't have any more cement really, and I'm going to buy something else than Humbrol.
The G-Armor comes with all the things I believe, also with a tiny 1/250 Gundam, the 1/144 Ball comes with a 1/250 Ball, too.

The Tank and Balls is molded in one colour, but the G-Armor has black, white(mint), yellow, blue and red. Gundam is in all white.

Question for you guys using Weathering Master. To seal with clear or not to seal? And if to seal, obviously it should be flat right?

Alright how do you guys think an HG would fare against a .22 to the torso? Anything more and I fear it will explode but I kind of want to try .22, anybody know anything? General tips on how to mutilate gunpla are welcome.

If you don't mind polycaps and shiny plastic and aren't expecting much mobility, and want to paint and glue some stuff then they are great kits.
Otherwise they are your standard NG fare

1/35 Mechatro WeGo from Hasegawa with a limbless 1/35 soldier from a Tamiya kit crammed inside. You get two in a box and they are tiny, like half thr height of a standard hg.

Just got my MG Unicorn, should I display it in Unicorn or Destroy mode? I really like the aesthetic when its in Unicorn, but I feel like its a bit of a disservice to not display it as a Gundam

and no I'm not going to buy a second, its my last kit.
