Gunpla / Plamo General

***READ THE GUIDE***
For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, don't make the new people worry!
>Why won't anyone answer my question?
Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

Our next Group Build!
Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.

Here's the two dudes mentioned.
Can't wait till end of the month to get some more tools, like topcoat, in order to clean this zaku's look up. As much as making this Zaku has been... miserable? It makes me want to build more of these old MSV kits. Too bad I haven't seen them reprinted in last two years.
I had fun with my tank, was a bit different than normal kits. Although it's not painted yet(with more than gundam markers anyhow) or coated because of the awful cold.
While not MSV, I have the old Ball, Guntank and 1/250 G-Armor sets which will be fun too.
None of them are made yet because I don't have any more cement really, and I'm going to buy something else than Humbrol.
The G-Armor comes with all the things I believe, also with a tiny 1/250 Gundam, the 1/144 Ball comes with a 1/250 Ball, too.
The Tank and Balls is molded in one colour, but the G-Armor has black, white(mint), yellow, blue and red. Gundam is in all white.
>Have so many kits that I'm running out of room to put the boxes
>It's such an issue that I'm running out of room for books and other shit
Why do I have such an aversion to tossing out these boxes
Already have some of them there. I thought I didn't have many kits but I ended up with 20+ somehow.
Which I guess isn't much compared to most people who build these things but still.
That's difficult. Could be the Gelgoog.
I had to do this to all my boxes(I taped though), because I had so many and they were over taking my room.
That's pretty neat actually. I've been keeping my instruction manuals and extra decals in this neat folder HLJ gave out with the Origin Char Zaku II kit last year but it's getting pretty full.
Do we have any news on what the next RG might be?
Alright how do you guys think an HG would fare against a .22 to the torso? Anything more and I fear it will explode but I kind of want to try .22, anybody know anything? General tips on how to mutilate gunpla are welcome.
I'm trying to build my EW Deathscythe, and the seams just aren't closing. I think it might be because I was using "Clear Parts Cement" instead of standard cement, but has anyone else has this problem?
I wish I had the cash and time for this kit
Do people generally buy 3 or 4 of their favorite grubt units for display. Been thinking about getting three more Graze and giving one a commander fin.
Has anyone here built any of the older F91 MGs like this one? How are they senpai?
So I got me a Barbatos and I also have the Jigen How are you hands so that I have more then just the hands it comes with. I been hearing some good things about the barbatos so am I in for a good time?
If you don't mind polycaps and shiny plastic and aren't expecting much mobility, and want to paint and glue some stuff then they are great kits.
Otherwise they are your standard NG fare
1/35 Mechatro WeGo from Hasegawa with a limbless 1/35 soldier from a Tamiya kit crammed inside. You get two in a box and they are tiny, like half thr height of a standard hg.
I got the Nichijou one (The manga artist is doing the box art for the kits).
It's the Abulhool. Basically the Kyrios before they got the transformation right
Just got my MG Unicorn, should I display it in Unicorn or Destroy mode? I really like the aesthetic when its in Unicorn, but I feel like its a bit of a disservice to not display it as a Gundam
and no I'm not going to buy a second, its my last kit.
