This thread is for the discussion of untranslated Japanese visual novels.
What are you playing? What are you looking forward to? What have you finished? You know the drill.
Just finished WA2 Introductory Chapter and really liked it. The story is pretty good and the soundtrack is really nice. The problem though is that I took an eternity to finish it. I was reading faster by the end of the game, but it makes me believe that I should put CC away for a while.
btw, is mahoyo hard to read? I was thinking of tackling another short game before I dive into the endless ones.
Wa2 introductory chapter is 0.5MB while closing is almost 7 times longer.
Mahoyo is pretty hard yes. If I were you I'd save it for when you have a much better grasp of the language.
Please don't respond to this because arguing about "eroge language difficulty" is completely pointless.
Do you have hopes for Toki wo Tsumugu Yakusoku considering it's not written by Kizuki?
My fav eroge of last year are:
Sakura no Uta
I'm lucky the're all getting sequels.
Could you please upload it to something that won't refuse download because of browser ver or "not enough memory to allocate file" (2gb at least, huh)? like dropbox. Or may be create a torrent.
Btw, were did you found it?
I'll upload it
The trial is really really really good, I don't care if people call me a shill or whatever, I just want more people to try it
Overrated piece of shit. Repetitive and bloated expository writing. Seriously, why do they do this?
The writing was OK but I just can't give a shit about mimesis and aestheticism, it's spooky as fuck. Besides Scaji praises impressionism because it was made by the masses (not true) and to shock people, then goes and shit on modern art even though modern art has those same characteristics. Really annoying.
>japanese turned into random symbols and shit
I had this happen with TinkerBell's 喰ヒ人 even though my locale, time and date etc. settings were all changed to Japanese. The only solution was changing the system language, which is possible if you have Ultimate version of Windows or download and use Vistalizator (works with Windows 7 too) to change the language settings.
I've posted about it in the thread before, but I really enjoyed Kokoro Risuta. The text just felt very "smooth" and was enjoyable to read, the art style really appealed to me, and it had a great voice cast.
It definitely wasn't what I was expecting from the first title in 6 years from a brand I'd never heard of before, and I only downloaded it originally because Shimizu Ai was in it as she's one of my favorite VAs.
Where these all Sakura no Utafag come. I want my Makura low profile. Supreme candy 10 times more better than that shit le. It just all these normalfag coming and spout kamige kamige everyday.
>dat feel you actually love Makura and Dogakobo since beginning
>you bought H20 and Koihime Musou BD to support the company
>Glad Ikikoi get translated even it "machine translation" and people starting recognized Dogakobo as good studio after yuru yuri even they don't make vn adaption anymore.
>Suddenly tons of normalfag coming this year for sakura no uta and umaru
>GIve me back muh sekrit club
Oh well it just i like Inugami Kira art. That why i love Seitokai no Ichizon very much.
Oh well it doesn't matter anyway. I always play like 10 new vn every month anyway. Just salty it become popular like typical anon.
The game will have two parts, the school one and the working-at-a-company one. Anime will most likely cover only the school one. Seems like that could be the best possible advertisement.
They confirmed they're going to cover only the first half.
Also I hope they go for a more realistic approach, I'm so tired of these pat-in-the-back metaworks that reflect the industry in a idealistically positive light.
As far as sleepers go, I randomly picked up アリスさんこれなんですか？ at Comiket and it's actually not bad at all. It's pretty funny and the production values are more or less commercial level.
So I chose Alice's route first in Monobeno, and am on the after route now. Just passed the 精算 part, and they are talking to
Himemiya in loli form.
The reason for the problems that occurred is being explained, and I'm not sure if this is a spoiler for Sumi/Natsuha routes. Is it fine to do the after routes before doing all the routes normally? Or have I spoiled myself by doing so?
so many lolis in Alice's after route. They needed to find a way to put in some loli Alice sex, didn't they it seems. Not that I have any complaints.
Personally I reached the end of common route recently. I'm still deciding if I go Sumi or Alice first, but everyone says Alice is the least good, so I'll probably get it out of the way first.
Really hyped for Maitetsu, but I fear with the extreme about of e-mote, it might not run well on my notebook. I was told that they'd optimize it more than e-mote VNs usually are, so I have hope. We'll when the trial comes out.
As a failure myself, I feel bad for people who fail. I know it's law of the jungle, but how absolutely humiliating and crushing it would be to put your all into writing something and for it to be reviled.
>isn't very entertaining.
Downright awful, more like, nothing interesting happens and has no payoff to what was the main conflict because it belongs to another route.
Which just leaves a bore with a bad excuse of drama.
I've come to really enjoy Kazuki Fumi's writing. I wasn't planning to read Shirogane Spirits because it's a Giga moege but looks like I'll give it a go since he worked on it. Seems like a Vita version for that is coming out, might be nice since I wouldn't be especially interested in ero from it.
Finished Alice's after route now. Didn't expect
it to go as far as them having a child and getting married. It'll make things tougher when going to Sumi's route, maybe I should leave a day or two before starting it.
I feel like the title screen changing spoils some of it, since it shows
child Natsuha hugging Sumi's child? At least in that case it'll feel happier than Natsuha sleeping for 7 years.Would have been better if it didn't display that until after Sumi's route, since now I know what to expect from the end.
Well, the title of the game having -happy end- in it spoils that aspect anyway, I suppose.
Because it's boring, unless they're building a space ship to go to the actual stars I do not care, they might as well be looking at light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. And no, it's not romancing or interesting going "kireeeei" every time the night sky show up.
Putting up shitty star gazing show for the cultural festival is also boring.
Routes themselves aren't boring is what I can say, heroines are interesting (one has split personality disorder iirc) but the pacing is too fast in some moments. I liked the protagonist and star-crossed lovers theme, soundtrack and CGs are also good. H-scenes were a complete disaster for me though, badly timed, poorly done. If you wanna play it do it for the story and not for the fap.
To be honest in most VNs I skip through the H scenes when I'm reading and then fap to them in a separate session. Or just to their CGs sometimes.
I think a similar thing was once asked in this thread and most people said they skip through H scenes most of the time too.
Wondering if this is ever going to come out. I never played the release that compiles both games so I wasn't even aware they teased a new heroine, all the way back in 2012. More jiyu2 is always appreciated.
The majority of people posting here do not post on /vg/, you don't see 56 moon readers over there do you? There is not like a discussion circle on /jp/ saying to troll /vg/. It's just some people who know Japanese posting Japanese vns. Nothing to do with this thread.
I don't see how "simple moege" can hold a depreciative meaning there though. Or actually, I see it, and I think it's pretty dumb.
Yeah. The only thing not outright crazy he wrote and I loved is still that Hayami After in H2O, and that was already going overboard. I'll continue to dream about Moekan 2 and 陰と影 on any case, even if Sca-ji pretends it doesn't exists, and even if it is more impossible than ever due to the recent success.
Frankly, I think he makes way less errors writing nonsense than anything else. Nonsense here being a witty joke if y'know what I mean.
What games let me play as an old lady shapeshifter?
Anyone played Unionism Quartet? In Juno's route, did the read text skip somehow go through the
androidexplanation as a bug or was that in the common route and did I somehow miss it or was it during the H-scene because I skip those?
I'm almost done with Steins Gate 0 /jp/.
Can you please recommend to me a game I could play after?
>Zero escape 3
I thought only EOPs were looking forward to it 999 was mediocre and Zero Escape was extremely bad
As an anime it was colorful and the characters weren't bad but Uchikoshi just can't write, he just used the same twists for the 4585472times again
Probably not. The only things Sca-ji noticeably wrote are the After Stories of Hayami and Otoha, and some parts of AaA (mainly the joke mini-game where the heroines play poker with the protagonist possessed by Baphomet). Everything else is pretty horrible, sincerely speaking. It was like there was some sort of agreement that every writer should try to copy Nijuuei/Moekan's abuse of short sentences and repetition into every dialogue, making worse something which wasn't already that good, so a lot of conversations would take a loop on the same matter with monosyllabic lines half the game. And the plot itself was pretty inconsistent.
yuriH-scene in that After is still one of the best things I've ever read and was worth it for me. Otoha's isn't so good but it has this scene and other details (references) which denounces the writer.
I never played Zero Escape but it's amusing how it got praised in the west and trashed by critics in Japan. Same as Tactics Ogre sequel, which again was trash (and rightfully called for being trash, getting 2-3/5 stars on Japanese review aggregators) and praised by English reviewers. I do wonder why.
For Zero Escape it's just people who aren't familiar with Uchikoshi who fall for his trick.
I'm sure people here other than me can understand, 10 years ago when I did Ever17 I did shit bricks, now I'd probably be bored as hell and I thought Zero Escape was pure shit but yeah...
For LUCT there is the fact that the english script is better than the japanese one (talking about the remake on psp here).
I know it may be hard to believe but it's true, I read quite a bit of comparison and while the english script has flair, the japanese one is generic as hell.
LUCT isn't bad game but gameplay-wise it has a lot of problems but the cool script in the english version make it seem much better than it is really, the japanese version doesn't have that so it just feel like a proto version of FFT in the end.
If has some of the worse writing I saw in a game in 2015, like even worse than Tokyo Xanadu
But the gameplay, for a FE, isn't bad, better than Awakening at least
Tokyo Xanadu is another can of worms.
I liked it at first, cause I didn't yet play many games with similar premises or read similar LNs, but in the end it got tedious, characters got under-utilized (or over-utilized like Rion) and there was no interesting twist at all. And you couldn't even romance a girl of your choosing.
I guess for someone who already played a game like that, TX must have felt meh from start to finish, but I liked it a lot at first, which only made my final impressions worse.
I didn't dislike the LN のり in the first few chapters but the game quickly turned to characters spouting LN catch phrases ad nauseasm while having no personality of their own
Like after the first few chapters every dialogues is:
girl "(small laugh)....LN catchphrase"
guy "やれやれ。。。LN catchphrase"
And this repeat forever
I really enjoyed the Punch Line anime, the real plot don't start till episode 6 though. And it gives you an ending that will make you look forward for the game. It's by no mean better than Ever17 or Zero Escape but it's defintily something only Kotarou Uchikoshi can write. If you do enjoy Uchikoshi works or even like Ghost Trick on the DS, I highly recommend this for you. Also the game will be the first collaboration between Uchikoshi and Nakazawa Takumi since Remember11 back in 2004.
Update on this: wat, it seems to get explained in Milly's route. Do they just assume you've read that one beforehand and imagine the conversation happened in Juno's route as well? What the fuck?
Are trial versions really long, generally? I haven't ever tried one, and I just saw I just a *26* part playthrough video serious on youtube for a 体験版. Each part is 20-30 minutes so that's about 13 hours of VN. That blows my mind. I'm referring to this:
Is pic related any good? I downloaded it because I saw a nice looking screen cap while I was fapping, but I have been looking forward to the angel beats vn for a long time and it just keeps getting put off.
Sure, if you leave it on a slow auto mode like that, it's going to take a long time to get through anything. If you're actually reading at a normal speed, trials are typically a few hours. It varies, though. Sakura no Uta's trial was pretty long, for example (since it was essentially two trials in one - the old trial from 2008, plus new content).
Found time to listen to 大図書館 drama CD from Comiket goods set. Can recommend, especially if you're a Shirasaki fan. I wonder why they made it about her though, when other girls are more popular.
>tfw classics will never get translated
I want what the elevens have!
Purposeless whining has no purpose. If there's a problem, try fixing it on your end.
And besides, what's interesting about TokiMemo, except its historical value? Watch that Arino show episode and you learn all you need.
The way the story develops reminded me of WA2 a lot but of course it's not even remotely as dramatic.
First of all the girls are completely different and more importantly they are friends so "dealing with the loser" is actually an important part of the story (imho the best scene of the game is about that).
Also the love triangle only develops if a certain misunderstanding is solved. If you make a different choice romance with Hikari and Saya is "postponed" until Hikari comes back but in the meantime MC falls for the other 2 girls (and Saya cries ;_;).
Basically Saya want fair competition with Hikari while Setsuna wanted to forget about Touma.
Finally just finished 塔の下のエクセルキトゥス. I killed last boss in just one turn, what the fuck seriously.
Ending was pretty idiotic and simple, as every part of the game. Mc just said something obvious > everyone become like OMG WOW WHAT A GREAT IDEA > every problem got solved > ending. Man at least solve Elpis & Marianne's immortality problem like that as well, but they didnt even bother with that.
Other than this I still feel same as my other post, though character events gets a little better as you play the game. Marianne & Riko & Klarissa's character events were really good at least. It'd be so better if there were more events for them, and less for others.
And thats it I guess, in short its just a waste of great potantial. With a little better writer / scenario this'd be a hit for sure, since it already has great character designs & VAs and hot h-scenes.
Last Cavalier is pretty good, too. Especially if you like historical drama or something of that nature.
A shame that there aren't any 3some ending with Isa and Sei. Like almost every routes end with 2 main heroines of that route sharing Soushi, except what can probably be consider the two main heroines. Well, it's kind of expected with how the MC died like in history but I really wish there is an ending for him to be alive with those two.
Its really a shame, It had many good points imo like having a light hearted (but not a completely joke) fantastic setting just as I like, Great art, Good VAs, Nice character designs and personalities etc etc. But not having a good writer just wasted all away.
Why? or should I blame Astronauts itself for not hiring a better one? I dont really see any difference between those, since in the end the biggest problem of the game -having a bad writer- doesn't change.
>Is pic related any good?
Not much, some parts of the story are kind of funny and some parts are pretty boring. If you are in for fapping, I guess it's worth it. Still CG rips are in e-hentai though.
Why would anyone even bother with this. It's Verethragna but without M&M art to make it worthwhile.
Can't wait for March though, dat delicious brown gladiator princess...
>want to play vidya
>cannot into moon
>a lot of savescumming later
>get best girl in Amagami
>all the while playing Talk Dirty by Jason Derulo in background
I understand the new crit approach but the fact is that regardless of the writer they put to work in this game, the setting and story would never "be used to its full potential", simply because they would not allow it.
I liked it. If you have an aversion against casual sex (with non-heroines), you should stay away though.
Also, kachou the cutest.
I don't know why so many VN producers think it's a good idea to mix over-the-top moe anime girls and warfare, I really think it just don't work, trying to mix moe with war, you get ridiculous stuff like this. I can't take it seriously.
>If you have an aversion against casual sex (with non-heroines), you should stay away though.
Definitely true, that was the entire reason why I didnt enjoy it and not going to try full version. There are even some h-scenes for the girls who dont have character sprites, its just not my thing.
Maybe if you heard the ultra grim music playing you'd understand. Cutie moe girls saying "ban!" instead of shooting, as grim as hell music plays, and the CG zooms in on a moeblob face? Not getting into the war mood at all.
Though recent developments are doing a lot better of a job getting into the war mood. At the time I posted that, it had been non-stop moe for the whole game just about so it was really.. out of place.
I did! Great game, that one really captured the mood well I think, a lot of the time. And it had side characters. It's always weird to me that modern games tend to have so few side characters. It always makes the world feel incredibly empty even if it's at a bustling school.
>I don't know why so many VN producers think it's a good idea to mix over-the-top moe anime girls and warfare
Probably because Catch 22; one of the best novel of the last century, mix moe and war
Spoiler: life and war often isn't as serious as you think, if anything the army of any nation is always full of ridiculous people
I hang out on the internet and read enough stories from ex-military to know war isn't universally serious. However, this VN is really really taking it dead-on serious, the music in this scene + the VA's grim deadpan + the MC himself telling his friends to stop laughing because this is the MILITARY and this is SERIOUS and those girls will be going to FIGHT and possibly DIE show some RESPECT... with all that going on, how can there not be contradiction with the moe girls who up until this point have mainly just been joking around with MC and being cute?
Maybe because they are just kids who didn't see war for real yet?
It's one thing to tell you that you are in a war and will maybe die, it's another thing to experience it
I don't think there is an inherent contradiction in fusing moe/comedy with war personally, it all depends on how you do it and if they are still in training phase I can see them caring about things girls their age care about
Sure. The end result though is a pretty hard mood whiplash, for me anyway. I said in my original post, "over-the-top moe", not moe in general; I mean, I really liked Catch-22 and that was a thoroughly well mixture of comedy and war. It can be done. But I've yet to see a game mix "anime level" of moe with war and not come out as looking pretty ridiculous, a lot of the time.
Not really. It's more slice of life (just with work environment instead of a typical school setting) than a nukige. It's not exactly a barrage of ero. Be aware that only applies to the trial though, since the full game is supposed to have 50+ h-scenes, so dunno how that turns out in the end.
Did anyone else who played Gun Knight Girl be surprised by the OST? I think it's really high quality, I was glad whenever a track started playing, any of'm, because they're all so good. Maybe I just feel that way because the last couple VNs I played had unremarkable OSTs. (slight CG spoiler in second link)
>There's also one last thing to say, of which instead I'm very much certain: Romeo Tanaka is a very religious person, specifically a Christian, and he writes from that standpoint.
>Cross Channel is itself a profoundly Christian story.
>VII Cross Channel as a Christian Story
>This Layer-VI interpretation can sound absurd, but is instead an inevitable conclusion. It's staring right at the reader when looking at the title: the word cross and the symbol of the cross are right there. The text reading prompt is also cross.
>VII.VII Layer-VII: The History of the World from Noah's Ark to Present Day
>In Cross Channel, Taichi and seven(?) other people survive the Wave of Denpa that wiped away mankind, together with all the animals they brought with (only the microorganisms inside of them).
>The parallel is direct and inescapable: the basic storyline of Cross Channel is based directly on the Biblical story of Noah and the Great Flood. And this, finally, allows to show what I consider the greatest troll of the story, greater than even not being sci-fi at all: being post-flood means the story is literally pre-apocalyptic, as the Book of Apocalypse would be yet to be written, or at the very least come true at that point in Biblical history.
>In fact, the Apocalypse - or the literal coming true of the prophecy within - is what Taichi is waiting for in the end.
On Cross Channel, George Henry Shaft, 2013
How do you feel about this interpretation of Cross Channel? Do any of Romeo's other works suggest he writes from a Christian perspective?
>Do any of Romeo's other works suggest he writes from a Christian perspective?
>Obviously it's expected that you read Cross Channel in Japanese and as such can judge it better than English readers
Only valid if you're a native Japanese speaker or have close to native fluency. Otherwise it could go either way.
Yeah, just don't like people implying that every kid who has been grinding flash cards in a month and decided to slog through the game with a text hooker automatically understood it better than Ixrec did.
To imply that was not my intention. When I said ｒｅａｄ, I implicitly meant read and be able to understand well enough.
I kinda tend to ignore the Fuwa/Reddit clique of machine dictionary readers.
So this time some Japanese users are unhappy about condoms.
>It had so many sex scenes anyway
It didn't, really. They just separated the usual foreplay -> sex routine into individual 1 base-CG h-scenes. Seems like they are still doing this for the new game, going by the advertised number of h-scenes.
Don't really like this approach, you end up with a a whole lot of unsatisfying headjobs that count as an entire scene and penetration without foreplay. Just unsatisfying all around.
I'm not talking about machine translation users either, but about those Clephases and MDZses that "taught themselves Japanese grammar" and now read while using dictionary to look up words that they don't know.
That's fine as long as you act like a retard when you only have that level of knowledge. Shouldn't be making over the top comments on eroge until you are fluent with the language
You don't need to be FLUENT to talk about them either, though, that's exaggerated. The thing is that they barely started. One to two years should be enough to get a good hang of things. Fluency will only come a few years later.
Condoms have no place in fictional porn. Shit like STDs and other gross real life shit shouldn't be a part of the fantasy. You should be able to fuck an entire harem of girls and never get a disease or any of them pregnant and they also never have periods. When you bring condoms into porn, you break the fantasy.
It's hilarious how condoms are often used in nukige for some hot sex, but in normal moege where they actually make sense and can be used to show a relationship growing naturally (start with condoms, proceed to raw fucking at the end and have cute scenes like embarassed shopping in a konbini), it's always a nakadashi festival start to finish.
Like shit, pure love moebutas can't even get pure love right.
Arc you orcist, man? Get the fuck out.
Consider the following: just like some games have pull out / come inside options, have minor cg/text differences based on whether you pick condom / no condom.
Nothing. What's wrong is impregnating a person with a whole future ahead of her, forcing her to possibly quit school and even delay her entry into college or university so she can take care of her baby. There's nothing happy about that, specially considering how fragile teenage relationships are. There's a reason why teenager pregnancy is a huge problem in certain 3rd world countries. And there's also a reason why it mostly happens in those: poor or no sex ed.
Your life is wrecked and you didn't even have sex yet. What's it matter?
>impregnating a person with a whole future ahead of her
It's animu Japan. The only future the girl has ahead of her is becoming a housewife or virgin OL. You're not exactly preventing the coming of the next Einstein.
>teenager pregnancy is a huge problem in certain 3rd world countries
The ones where they need the kids to work their farms? Or the ones that people treat as if they were America and harass them if they have their kids do anything useful or put responsibility on them before they're 20?
>delay her entry into college or university
God forbid she lose her chance to waste money on a useless degree instead of raising another life.
>specially considering how fragile teenage relationships are
It's animu Japan. The father isn't going to disappear unless the child becomes a protagonist.
Wasn't the whole drama in blond girls route in LxC2 about how fucked up it is to impregnate a high-schooler.
Not even the purest of pure love eroge make it seem like pumping your GF full of semen on a regular basis is a good idea.
Her drama was more how she used the pregnancy to feel her relationship was stable.
It's still less fucked up than Yuni's male yandere rape end in LC and 'how you do not emotionally blueball a guy for a month'.
>God forbid she lose her chance to waste money on a useless degree instead of raising another life.
Oh, yes, because raising another life is a much more noble thing than getting a degree in a field you have interest in and want to dedicate your life into it. If she wants to be a housewife, fine, but there's no guarantee that this will be her choice.
>It's animu Japan. The only future the girl has ahead of her is becoming a housewife or virgin OL. You're not exactly preventing the coming of the next Einstein.
Nice false dichotomy there. You know that's not how it works. There are countless possibilities and even if many of them are hard to achieve, she should have the choice to decide.
>The ones where they need the kids to work their farms? Or the ones that people treat as if they were America and harass them if they have their kids do anything useful or put responsibility on them before they're 20?
No, and no. Try educating yourself a bit more into the matter.
>It's animu Japan. The father isn't going to disappear unless the child becomes a protagonist.
If you propose a modern first world setting, I will expect you (the writer) to know that people in the first world will in most cases use condoms to protect themselves from STDs or possible pregnancy. You severely underestimate the fact that being pregnant while you're on high school will cause a lot more problems than it's worth. A teenage girl simply isn't ready for dealing with such a huge amount of responsibility. I understand the context that it's fiction and a bunch of nerds complain about it because they don't want their pure love ruined, but their reasons for it are simply retarded and unnecessarily (the key word here) unrealistic. If anything, using a condom means you have a fucking brain and you care about your partner's well being and future.
It's anime world. The girls' choices are being a housewife, OL, or dying for the sake of plot. It doesn't matter if they get pregnant in highschool, it won't "ruin" their potential life. They're lucky if they aren't fighting penis aliens instead of attending their club at that age.
>A teenage girl simply isn't ready for dealing with such a huge amount of responsibility.
A problem with society, not her.
I don't understand pregnancy fetishists. Maybe because I can't stand children/babies. Especially if it's a couple still in their "we just got together so let's fuck like rabbits" stage. Why would you want to ruin that with a baby? That's no fun. This "raising a kid" shit should come once you're ready to throw all that away.
Lolige with pregnancy are the best lolige though.
>May as well fuck an onahole with a tape that goes onii-chan/otou-san on loop.
Isn't that what all this VR and USB onahole shit is going to amount to?
Women never gain this, let alone VN women who still act like retarded babies and never-seen-a-dick virgins no matter the age.
Don't they fuck the MC in the ass at some point?
So I finished 罪ノ光ランデヴー trial. It pretty much looks like a spiritual successor to ソレヨリノ前奏詩 although this one felt more interesting since it does a parallel to two Japanese fables and poses a question about the emotional impact of sad events over happy ones and hate bonds over love bonds. Most of the trial has a really nice atmosphere so it felt like a nice 雰囲気ゲー with nice art, although at the end it promises drama. I expect a similar progression to the past work (crazy main heroine, forgotten past, two side heroines) so if you liked that style you'll like this too.
I liked the main heroine from the past work (Towa) better though, but the end-of-trial cliffhanger made this heroine (Ai) seem like she's pretty damn crazy so I think I'll end up liking her.
Although if you don't like the new wave of minori games (Perseus and beyond), avoid it.
>Don't they fuck the MC in the ass at some point?
You can enter an abusive relationship with the younger girl where she basically becomes your dominatrix, complete with pegging and stuff.
I wanted to try this, but the gaijin block was too strong for me. No trial on getchu and of course I can't access the website, not even via google translate (the text gets messed up)
I'm still looking forward to the full game
Finished Amakano second season, overall I'd say Kanade>Yuzuka>Ruika>Honami, route-wise.
Honami was cute but her ''conflict'', if in-character, was fucking stupid and went on for WAY too long. Kanade being an amazing wingman in her route helped.
Ruika's was good, but I honestly expected better, really sweet in general but the route didn't even last until valentine day and the actual climax feels rushed.
Yuzuka's on the other hand surprised me, she became more and more proactive during her route, in her own, eccentric way, which was adorable to see and I really liked how their relationship develops in general, pretty funny too with scenes like the 'no touch for three days (because one week feels too long) one'. Also, I really missed seeing a hajidere bungaku shoujo.
Kanade was overall the best for me, I liked her the best throughout, she was cute, earnest and really devoted, also a real hard-worker, her dream by the end of the game is also incredibly touching. Her route didn't have the impact Midori's had in the original, but it was close, at least for me, also the pacing was tighter. Her last sex scene was also amazing, take out the piss and is basically perfect for me.
Also the acoustic arrange of the op from the first game was pretty great, even if it playing during the climax of three out of four routes gets tiring.
It seems like they're slowly getting the hang of it. They're definitely trying to improve their scenarios now. I'd say
Tsuminohi (so far) > Soreyori > Perseus (imouto saved it) > 12eve
Weird. Perseus was the best game for me. The lack of plot didn't really mater and the whole atmosphere made up for it. Game was comfy as hell with good music and summerly inaka mood.
I dropped soreyori pretty fast since it felt more like a "classical" minori game. The main heroine was also unlikable so that didn't really help.
Yeah, Kanade route was very good and that kiss is the best scene in the game by far.
Overall the game is good, but i enjoyed a little more the first one Mizuki was so adorable.
Tsuminohi has a countryside atmosphere similar to Perseus, I think you'll enjoy it.
>The main heroine was also unlikable
I loved her, but I tend to like heroines with ドS vibes so I think that and the fact that Kusuhara Yui is one of my favorite eroge seiyuu made it for me. The drama was a lot stronger than Perseus, too, which is a plus for me.
>and the whole atmosphere made up for it
You mean for the one whole hour the game is about summer country stuff ad they aren't fucking each other?
Because that's the whole game, skip the porn and it's basically less than five hours.
>this heroine (Ai) seem like she's pretty damn crazy so I think I'll end up liking her.
What's the appeal of crazy heroines if they are not yandere or if it wasn't horror and mystery game like Higurashi and Umineko?
Iam reading the trial right now, and Ai is my favourite heroine so far, I hate it when she talks about depressing stuff with straight face but she is cute, polite and considerate. It will really sucks when she go full crazy at the end. Anyway, I usually hate depressing drama stuff, but this one theme about people's "sins" is pretty interesting, so I'll probably play the full game.
That's great, Iam relieved now.
I like these heroines when the plot or her circumstance are really well-written, it sucks having unstable heroine for the sake of it for me. But I can see the enjoyment in "healing" her I guess.
Game: Bad. Playing detective is not my thing... It's quite a bold move made by the company imo. At the good side, this game got bad endings and some crazy endings too.
Art: Very good. +points for loli butts. One of the heroines got a
pissingscene which I irked the fuck out. Guess who got that scene...
shitty summary of story:
MC is a detective. He was sent to this mysterious island to pick up clues and solve the case. MC didn't know that there are more secrets to uncover in this mysterious island than solving his own case...
Seeing it has a shitton of endings is one of the reasons I got more interested in the game. Sounds like it's not completely irredeemable. How's the protagonist, frustrating or not?
Glad to help. Not frustrating. He is more on the serious and clever side than the funny and perverted personality.
I haven't played a game with a pissing scene in it before until that game. I'm guessing it's the userbase who voted it to be added.
What ya'll think about Musumaker?
When I saw the stats go up for the first time something clicked in my brain and I though to myself "I get it!"
Are all "Raising" genre games this addicting?
While I don't mind loli raising sim, whoring them to other men is just not my thing, so I cheated the fuck out of it, but then got bored mid-way.
> Are all "Raising" genre games this addicting?
Try Wizard Climber, its more fun.
Same as >>14586793 - I like my lolige consensual, it starts creeping me out when it starts bordering on abuse, even though I know it's fiction and have no problems with adult rape.
There's no fat guy in the CGs either. Are you looking at the wrong game? (or don't know what game it is at all because you can't do a google search)
Go to page 4.
Were you looking at this game? This game has an old man in it, but he's not fat, but the girls look similar to the point the twintail characters wearing nearly the same outfit.
Oh so I got the wrong game. I noticed the black haired girl had a different hairstyle, but the other girl had the almost exact same outfit as in the image that anon posted. It confused me. Many thanks.
Also looks like the stereotypical fat aniota to me. And typical with disgusting characters they tend to put focus on them in the text, it distracts from the girls
