100 most common Japanese words

I was in Japan for two years. Xenophobia was everywhere, lots of "Japanese only" places, getting turned away from onsen, restaurants, etc. I'm white, conservative looking, no tats or piercings, clean, very careful about etiquette.
They smile, but it's because they're nervous.
Foreigners are different, creepy, unpredictable, and unwelcome. Get past that, and they're some of the most rude, unpleasant people you've ever met. They're obsessed with conformity to the point that the whole culture behaves like they're collectively autistic.
Foreigners are blamed for all crime. Paranoia is incredibly high. More than once, I got on a bus only to have the bus driver announce "a foreigner has just gotten on, watch your purses and wallets". I was usually in a business suit. I had it happen a couple of times a month. It was fucking weird.
Maybe Japanese women used to be more interested in "experimenting" with foreign men, but that was another time. Now, they're not even interested in their own men.
Some want some kind of perfect Asian men like they see in dramas, but even then, it's more like they would want to pose for a few pictures to show their friends and then move on. Some of the most sexless, boring, and bitchy people you'll ever meet...there's a reason their population is in a steep decline.
Feminism is a huge thing there now. I behaved just like I would with a female coworker in the US...avoid contact as much as possible, never discuss anything other than work, never compliment or criticize, when talking, avoid looking anywhere below their chin, no joking, interrupting, being anywhere alone with them (especially elevators or offices), etc.
Even so, I was spoken to for making a coworker uncomfortable because I walked past her cubicle to go to the bathroom. I ended up having to walk clear around the other side of the floor so I wouldn't pass her desk and make her feel "unsafe"
Japanese women: Never.
Booked my next trip to Japan. Visiting my girlfriends parents and celebrating her recent graduation from college. Going to be my second trip there, first time landing in Haneda Airport, flew to Narita last time. Last time I was in Tokyo it was raining a ton so hopefully I can do a lot more activities this time. Got my ticket for surprisingly cheap
The amount of Cameron Diaz jokes I have had to endure is too many
Yeah, I have a lot of similar hobbies wither her dad so we get along easily.
Even if it does rain a lot I will still try to do a lot more
It started in April last year when I was there
Well her parents are the same way, but her dad owns a business and can issue work visas, so I may work there in the future just to make them happy.
about 700$, since i dont have to worry about food, transportation, hotel and stuff like that. Just airline ticket and spending money.
Sorry what kanji is that?
I don't find them ugly but that is how the image was captioned when I downloaded it.
We eat curry a lot mate, we don't have sensitive tastebuds.
Fish and chips is genuinely good though. People don't mock the USA and big macs.
Thanks lad, your burgers are good too. Though I've never been to the US so can't comment on the food there. Heard your portions are disgustingly large though.
Fish and chips is good but it's basically a sort of comfort food (sorry if I'm wrong).
But there are japanese tourist who genuinely thinks it's a kind of classic cuisine and they go eat it like a tourist will go eat sushi in japan.
It's not the same thing if you see what I mean.
Fountain drinks are usually located on the customer side of the counter at fast food places so you can just refill whenever you want.
At restaurants you can just ask a waiter and they can refill it for you or they will offer.
Alcohol you have to pay extra though. I actually wouldn't mind if refills costed money. Maybe it would stop some our weight problems
Some people do that if you are visiting another persons home, but if it is at a restaurant it is just cause Americans are fat or for leftovers to eat another time
I was wondering how normal is it for an adult to be into manga in Japan. There's plenty of related talk online about anime, but I haven't really seen manga mentioned in this context. Other than the old and apparently dying/dead stereotype of salarymen reading manga on the train.
I guess a foreigner might be seen as a weeb either way and they'd probably be right. But what about for Japanese people?
Stay inside. You will freeze if you go outside. I will keep you warm.
I found that the fish flakes and powders and so on don't add much to the taste at all. The sauce is important though. Still, it's not a particularly difficult or expensive food to make.
Today I didn't want to eat korean food so I made some chicken wings
After eating them my hands were really greasy but then I saw a great picture of a 8/10 single eylids korean girl so I jerked off without washing my greasy hands
was this necrophilic beastiality?
luckily they weren't hot wings otherwise I would have to wash my dick with milk now lel
yes, good frenchie, good jap, keep buying salmon.....
>I don't need the Norwegian salmon shit
you are not allowed to think that, bad goy- eh, japanase!
Japan, let's make a deal.
You get Salmon.
We get Rei Ayanami.
No, I had only researched and knew it was traditional.
I was asking if it was pleasant to listen to or merely a chance to listen to traditional music.
I do not find it pleasant so won't download it. Do you listen to this type of traditional japanese music often?
You may keep that red whore for yourself.
Only pure maidens like Rei is desirable.
Stop killing whales. Even Hayao Miyazaki said stop doing that.
They're very intelligent and self-aware animals, and they suffer greatly due to the presence of personal narratives. Read Daisuke Igarashi's "Children of the Sea". Eat tuna and other fish instead, but overfishing is a problem now.
Anyways, Meiji era ruined your culture. The best time point of Japan was Heian era. Also, your Zen has been completely bastardized thanks to it being made more "family-friendly" in Meiji era. Zen is best off celibate.
Now that I can ask people from around the world and see their flags clearly:
Why on earth would anyone prefer Asuka over Rei?
It is quite obvious that Rei is the superior character. Stronger, cuter, more awe-inspiring.
It was made official a few months ago
When it comes to environmental concerns and animal welfare, I don't care about boundaries. When it comes to other domestic affairs, I respect the sovereignty of a nation.
However, ecosystems and animals do not understand the symbolic landscape of man that truly does not exist outside our minds. Granted, the biosphere should concern us all irregardless of our ethnonationalist biases.
How much is the pessimistic spirit growing in the youth? Does the media exaggerate it?
Some of the best horror films I've seen are from Japan, such as Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cure and Kairo. Is antinatalism widespread in academia?
I went to a supermarket this summer which had a nice section of fish and stuff and the price for non farmed was 120 SEK/kg, while farmed was 130 SEK/kg. I asked the guy behind the counter if people actually buy the farmed one, and he said that maybe 1 in a 100 persons do.
I felt relieved that only 1% of the population is that retarded.
lol did that really happen with the walking around the cubicle thing?
I went to Japan as well and didn't experience any world class treatment either. I actually thought they were assholes. Even gooks and chinks treated me better
yes, but read the rest:
>Jag äter lax två gånger i veckan. Svensk och norsk. Svensk är bättre, säger Audry Joubaud som bor i Paris.
>Swedish salmon is better than Norwegian
t. The F.
I find it really funny that we poison the rest of yurop with our salmon. We know it's poisonous here so we just eat a little each year.
my toes smell
how I get rid of smell under nail
Good I also was studying Physics a long time ago. Now I am doing CS.
Let's get started with an easy one.
Why do I hear people say both:
Japan hates whites, Japan sucks. I had a terrible time. All Jap girls think your rapists.
Japan doesn't hate white people as much anymore, in large cities at least. I had a great time. Some Jap girls actually like white guys.
Are Japanese girls actually scared of white guys? That seems nuts in any part of the world. Was what that other guy was saying true?
Fact: being white is no longer special in Japan. There is no niche for being white there, you will not be a special snowflake. That shit ended like 10-20 years ago.
Fact the vast majority of whites and other gaijin that score jaapnese sluts are dating down.. 5s, 6s or uglier slags
Fact: Japanese will act nice to your face, but secretly hate you
Fact: Japanese do not want gaijin in Japan
Q.Q What should I do with my life now? All those Kanji, for nothing.
