What are your goals for this month? What about this year? What's the last thing you ate?
Both male and female thinspo welcome.
>tfw no matter how much weight you'll lose your crotch will never be as flat
Thanks for making the thread OP, few things for next time:
1. Wait until the bump limit is reached on the old one (310, it will say "bump limit reached" when you hover over the post count).
2. Update the last thread bit in the OP copypasta so people can trace it back. Last thread was: >>10893990
3. Then when you make a new one, link it in the last one so people know a new one is up.
Thank you and carry on.
Like, how the fuck do you even convince your family and friends to buy you Honey Nut Cheerios?
Every time I see them advertised on the television they look beyond delicious and I can't get the theme song out of my head!
Typically all that I'm given by family and friends is Raisin Bran or Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Clusters. I appreciate the gesture but I can't convince people to give me Honey Nut Cheerios as a gift.
Are they as good as advertised?
When you guys get pretty thin, did people start telling you to stop dropping weight? How did you diffuse that?
I'm getting some pressure from family and friends that I'm too thin, but, want to go like another 10-lbs. I'm 5' 10" and 140lbs (male), so its' not like I'm getting crazy skinny, but I've noticed family are watching my plate lately.
I used to be 220lbs, so, it's been a big drop over the last year.
5'10 ~150, down from maybe 180 at the highest. i get lots of "have you lost weight????? how????????"
but yeah the unwarranted diet advice is real annoying. every time i eat with my friends it's "you should eat more" or "really? that's it?"
i know it sounds rude, but the best way i've found to deal with it is to just tell people to piss off. my diet isn't really any of your business, and i certainly don't need some obese ideologue telling me to eat a hamburger so i can "get some meat on my bones"
It's both low calorie AND tasty, supposedly. I don't know because no one has gotten it for me yet.
Today I went to Subway with mommy to buy delicious subway sandwich made just for ME by a professional sandwich artist. Was only 600kcal.
Yeah, it doesn't help they are normally the fat ones. I don't mind people commenting that I lost weight, or asking how, but, just the "you're getting too thin" type of stuff makes me uncomfortable.
I do appreciate it, but, I'm not even close to being unhealthy. I'm basically shooting for perfect on a BMI chart anyways.
I'm not anorexic, I'm here for self improvement and some faps when a qt3.14 is posted.
Check out Emma Dumont, she's an actress that also did ballet. Was just in the TV show Aquarius.. Pic related.
She's really pretty. It seems like a lot of ballerinas turn to acting. Probably because their bodies are amazing.
literally what the fuck lmao do u actually think BMI is a useful thing to follow? it's exactly the same as saying your height and weight, there is no point for it to exist other than as a guideline for how much you should weigh at a given height
it tells you nothing other than that
source: not fattie :^)
It's just a guide but my built is so normal it is a pretty good one for me. I do eat healthy, that's how I lost the weight in the first place. I'm eating 1400kcal / day so not exactly starving either.
Nah, it is kinda bullshit. It only takes into account your mass and your height. It doesn't take into account if that mass is muscle or fat.
Dwayne Johnson for example is considered "obese"
Friendly reminder that our official group on Lose It! is titled "/fa/ friends" for anyone counting calories in need of some support!
No one here, except for the occasional troll, wants to be so muscular that they are registering as obese on a BMI chart.
>people use it incorrectly, so that must mean im right!
>U MAD LEL
lmaooooooooo holy shit dude
I post both, I'm a guy.
Well I'm not alone I save lots of pictures myself.
Reposting from last thread:
Really simple calculator that tells you about when you'll hit your goal weight. Enter your junk, play around with the calories. It doesn't have a minimum limit either like every other cal calculator, just math.
What's your favorite tea, /thinspo/?
I'm having apple cinnamon tea with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. I took it for an upset stomach a few days ago and it's pretty nice. In the mornings, it's been black coffee.
you could probably be okay with a few pounds gained. can't really tell without seeing your body comp. gaining some weight in muscle tone never hurts whether you're male or female.
if you feel fine, you're fine though.
Received some interesting comments, from this, on another thread.
I'm 6' 4" and 130 lbs.
Another one, more recent.
Apologize for fingers..
someone please post short skinny girl inspo preferably 5'3 or under. I don't want to look like the short chubby girls that were everywhere in high school. Jeez, I'd give anything for a couple more inches to my height
From average to supermodel (Sasha Luss)
Is this true? Seems a bit high. Other sites say it's more around 110-180 kcal.
Whoops forgot attachment.
I like using MyFitnessPal. You have to watch all of them, and make sure they pass the "does this make sense" test... but MyFitnessPal you can see how many people verified something. For basic foods, that can be tons of people that went and checked for you.
Yeah, and you can see how many people verified them. It's still not perfect, but, MFP is overall pretty good. Even the non-verified stuff seems to check out most of the time in my experience, you can always check with a second source if you are unsure. Wolfram Alpha is pretty good for that.
Thank you, will think about it next time
Also reposting myself
I like to use cronometer or nutritiondata.self.com if I just need to know the calories and not to count em. Less social aspect and I always found MFP weird and a bit confusing, as well as lacking in information.
>few months ago
>start losing weight
>lightest I've ever been
>real proud but still a ways to go
>"anon are you eating!?"
>"of course, I wanted to lose weight so I changed what I eat and started casually exercising"
>"no no no, you are moving back in with me to make sure you eat right"
>father starts taking things from my house
>eventually gets me to move to his house
>in 6 weeks I'm back up to 76 kgs
>I'm trying real hard to get it off but keep gaining weight
>father won't let me leave
>eat a cutie
>eat two thickly sliced toasts with a lot of guacamole on top
>have 8oz of banana/peanut butter/etc smoothie
I'm never going to be beautiful
Just keep yourself occupied and it's fine
I know but if you are not eating burgers eveday, it will even out during the whole week.
Also with one meal the effect of intermittent fasting is quite good
if you guys want some advice on how to drop weight really quick I really recommend going pescatarian, and if not only eating chicken. I recently went from being 6'2" and 155 to 144 over the course of a month. A breakfast for me looks like 2 cups of english breakfast with a banana and an oat based cereal bar. Then for lunch I have a 2 cups of tea or a coffee, a bag of oyster crackers and a green apple. Then dinner I normally have a small chicken fillet or piece of salmon, with either potatoes and asparagus or salad. Cut out hydrogenated dressings, instead opt for olive oil and balsamic. To head of hunger I chew gum, I recently quit smoking as its bad for you and just made me feel all dry and gross. I quit by using a vape for a few weeks then quit that as its an embarrassing habit. I drink mainly water but I still have the occasional soda which i find too hard to give up. I firmly reccomend swapping ut beers for hard alcohol as well, if you must drink.
not if keep eating like that.
What is a cutie?
Toast isn't terrible, keep it wheat
Guacamole and peanut butter you shouldn't eat at all.
Don't drink calories. Smoothies are for fatasses.
Why are you even exposed to that crap food?
>I firmly reccomend swapping ut beers for hard alcohol as well, if you must drink.
I try not to drink every night, but when I do I'll have an Amstel Light. 90kcal, not too bad. Alcohol in general is a pretty big waste.
Agree about the salad dressing. Baslamic can get the low calorie type, ends up being like 20kcal per tablespoon. One or two tablespoons are enough to make a small salad tasty, and total calories of the whole thing might be 30-50kcal all said and done. Not very filling but psychologically good that you are eating something, plus the fiber helps to some extent.
>it's an Abigail gets upset and binges on oreos, chocolate milk, and ice cream episode.
The ultra thin people I know that claim to eat a ton and never gain weight just think they eat a lot, but actually don't. It feels a lot to them. If you actually stick around them and watch what they eat, it turns out to not be very much in total.
On /fit/ all the time there are people that say they can't gain weight even though they are eating a ton of food, but then when people really press them on what they are eating it turns out to be like 1800kcal or some shit and they run and workout every day.
They generally aren't bullshitting on purpose, they just don't think they are eating as little as they are. When you are used to eating small amounts, it becomes hard to eat a bunch. Also some people just don't get as hungry as others.
Living with a roommate, she has a nutriblend and a bunch of fruits stocked up. Cuties are those small, easy to peel clementines but you can taste how sugar packed it is in every slice
I've been pescararian for a while now, it definitely feels a bit better. I'm hoping to become vegan or vegan with a few conditions, like still eating fish and honey and such on occasion. Definitely going to try to cut out dairy and eggs pretty soon, though. Filled with fats and it always makes me feel gross after eating it
>haven't seen sister and brother-in-law in a month
>they joke that I now look like an AIDS patient
>I take it as a compliment
this is very true; analogous to how the very smart kids in almost any class nearly always play down the level of effort and studying they maintain to achieve good grades, since being dismissive about academics and desperately trying to maintain an image of apathy is "cool"
This, any other fitness apps to help you track without warning you? I understand what it's trying to do though, but it's kind of annoying if you wanna lose it fast
Speaking of losing weight, what do you guys think of starvation mode? Can people really not survive on 1,200 a day and live a healthily for the rest of their life?
>What are your opinions on sugar-free soda?
At least most zero-calorie sweeteners affect gut bacteria in such a way as to increase risk of metabolic syndrome (i.e. becoming a fatty.)
Better to just lose the addiction to disgustingly sweet drinks in the first place.
"Eating everything I want" for some people is actually not very much. They might eat some calorie dense foods, but almost always if you actually measure their calorie intake over a week it'll be low.
Similarly most fatties who "don't eat much", or "always eat healthy", are getting 3000kcal+ a day.
Neither are necessarily lying. People aren't good at keeping track of stuff like that without making an effort.
guy i know was skinny af, claimed to eat a ton because he always had a burger at lunch, after living with him he basically eats one small meal of some meat between bread every day and that is it - he seriously thought he ate a lot
i read somewhere its mostly diet coke, cigarettes, small amounts of vegetables (like celery lol) and some even go as far as to eat tissue napkins just to have something in their stomach
Everything is very hush-hush in Europe and the US right now but Russian models are more open about their eating habits. 800-1000 calories per day for weight loss is the norm. (Plus exercise)
a good and tasty diet plan is coffee and oatmeal for breakfast. Two cups of tea and a mango for lunch. White fish or salmon with salad and vegetables for dinner. If you need desert try mangos or other sweet yet wholesome fruits. Try to cut out all red meat. Try swapping beers and coctails for hard alcohol. But dont drink much. Swap dressing for olive oil and balsamic, (use both in moderation tho). Also try apple cidre vinagre as a condiment. Try to get rid of carbs and opt for things that make you feel full. Avoid salt as it causes fluid retention and hardens arteries. Avoid smoking as well. Certain dark chocolate is passable upon occasion. Popcorn, real stuff not microwave bag shit, is good to fill you up as well, as its fiborous, low in calories yet also filling.
I was weighing 165-166 all last week, then all the sudden today woke up and scale said 163. I've never had such a big drop in my life. Was I holding water weight? Maybe too much sodium? I can't figure it out.
Maybe tomorrow I'll weigh more but damn. I wasn't drinking less water or anything either...
Just had to buy new jeans today. Felt pretty good, but expensive and don't think they'll last me more than 4 months or so since dropping pretty quick. So I just got three pair to wear continuously.
Also my shoe size went down a bit, kind of crazy, but guess I lost a lot of weight.
She'd wear it with a pair of shorts or an AA skirt, the fact that it's a bathing suit or a body (don't know the English term) isn't relevant for anyone else then me. I fucking love those things in bed.
It's not so much to do with actually having sex with them on your woman that is great, it's the fact that she (my girl) dresses herself in a way that I have told her that I enjoy which turns me on.
I like those cotton rompers because they are soft to touch. I mean her skin is super silky as well, but warm cotton is a nice change.
Yeah it's probably mostly waterweight but on the other hand I have been living on pretty much 1 reasonable meal and then carrots each day and have been working fairly hard in cold weather... If you didn't eat anything for a week how much would you drop?
I find it all to be pretty comparable. I mean 1.5oz of rum is about 100 calories on the lower of the spectrum (proof), wine is about 150 calories for 6oz, and a light beer ranges between 100-120 calories for 12oz.
The alcohol is where most of the calories come from, so might as well just have the quantity of what you like.
I had an Amstel Light tonight, which was 90kcal so not so bad. Not exactly going to get you drunk, but, it filled up a glass with something other than water to have a conversation over.
...I should also say if you are looking to just get maximum drunk on the lowest calories, then yeah obviously liquor is the best... but for having a full glass it gets less clear.
You might also want to research the specific problems drinking alcohol has on weight beyond just the calories. I vaguely remember reading that when you drink alcohol with food your body has to process the alcohol into sugar first and it causes the other food you ate to be more likely to add fat. I'm probably saying that wrong but look it up.
How often and how much do you drink?
How do you gain weight if eating more than 1500 calories a day makes you sick?
drink calories. grab a smoothie or milkshake or anything from starbucks. instant 400 calories. it's what you have to look out for when counting calories, so you can do the opposite.
down to 130, from 150 at the start of september.
feels amazing. goal is 99 lbs by summer.
these posts and the fat hate threads on fit are the only thing that ever helped me break the cycle. contributing from my personal thinspo folder.
Guys I lost a lot of weight over the last three years, from 17st down to 11st 3lbs, at one point about two months ago something happened and i got pretty ill refusing to eat and being real worried about eating and shit and the pounds started dropping, didn't eat for days etc,
my gf got real worried so started pushign me out of the mindset and eventually got me eating again and now i've gained weight again and am scared and want to go back to that mindset but i cant, help?
>what do you do on weekends? do you not drink/eat out with friends??
if you want to look less skinnyfat, then lifting weights or running or biking will give your body better shape. If you don't overeat these will only reduce your bodyfat without making you swole.
>down 57lbs from 185 fatty to 128 ... less fatty
>eat a strict 1200c a day
>haven't budged from this weight since october
i'm so fucking frustrated /fa/, wat do? pic isn't me
Either you're miscounting your calories or you need to eat less. It's thermodynamically impossible not to lose weight while eating less than you expend. Try bumping your calories down by 100 or so for a few weeks and see if the scale moves. Also weigh and measure your food; once you get down to the final stretch of weight loss every single calorie counts mang.
>cant weigh food
i guess ill just ... suffer
thanks anyway anon
Well if you can't weigh your food, just do some guesswork with reducing calories as best as you can estimate. It'll take longer to figure out whether or not you're eating the right amount (since you'll have to wait a week or two to see if it's working) but you can still do it!
They also sell pretty small food scales that you could easily carry with you in a purse if you wanted to, but I can understand if you'd be too self-conscious to whip out a food scale in a public place haha.
K, I'll post another pic this evening if you're still there. If I dont forget.
i mean i've been meaning to buy one for a while, i just know that my friends and family are already worried about me losing more weight, so if they see me weighing my food (at school or at home) i know i'm gonna have some explaining to do.
but i think you have the right idea. i just bought one off of amazon thats smaller than a sheet of paper and thinner than most iphones, so it should conceal nicely.
i'm just so tired of dieting (this whole process has taken me almost 2 years now), and it doesnt feel worth it when you're no longer seeing results. hopefully this (and getting back to running) should help
just say that you're weighing to gain a little weight, or maintain, and then say "oh darn, I'm eating more but I'm still losing weight". takes the concern off of you and puts it on lolgenetics
and this is the last one i have saved but i can grab a few from my blog
i doubt anyone will be too worried if i just play up the healthy shit im eating like vegetables and stuff, but people at my college are gonna think things regardless, idrc about that
what this girl did is insane
last one i got
>you eat too little youre never gonna lose any weight,
Are there people that actually believe this?
It's mainly fatties who think their bodies can defy the laws of thermodynamics because they can't count calories properly.
>I've been eating very little but I still gain weight because I don't count drinks or "little snacks!"
>mfw 24 in. model waist and still feel like a fucking whale
>mfw told I look really bad and unhealthy but see myself as normal/a little bit overweight
>mfw bmi of 16.3 and still feel like a fatty
I'm sure there are all kinds of tricks or theories, but end of the day, the successful people here did one thing and one thing only: They ate less than they used for an extended period of time. There are all kinds of diets, and I'm sure some of them work, but end of the day restricting calories is going to make you lose weight. It might not be exactly what you predict, but eventually if you don't feed your body what it needs to maintain its current status, it is going to get smaller.
It's literally a law in thermodynamics / physics called conservation of energy.
I think that is mostly it.
It is hard to count calories, especially with an active and on the move lifestyle like a wageslave or student, but as someone said earlier you know at the end of a week or two if it is working or not. I mean if I restrict -500kcal, I know if at the end of 2 weeks, if I haven't lost 2lbs, I'm not counting my calories correctly. If i've lost 3lbs, I know I've overestimated my calories, etc. If 1lb, I've underestimated my calories.
It certainly varies with water weight and such, like sometimes I'll get lazy and eat too much microwavable shit and it has so much sodium I gain water weight for a few days, but then it goes away.
Please say some more nice things
Oh god man your body looks horrible. Start lifting and eating now, you're still very young. I used to hide my insecurities behind the stupid >modelbody etc shit, but its all bullshit.
>tfw friends say my arms look like junkie arms (vascularity not needle marks lmao)
Saw this qt heroin addict overdosing on /pol/ and couldn't help but admire her hip bones.
Not sure, I really like her tummy for the same reasons you listed though. It's thin but soft.
DAE do this to cope with aging? I'm 18, female, and men value youth over everything. Even my own boyfriend would rather fuck a cute 15 year old. I can't be one of those cottage cheese thighs sorority girls, my value is already plummeting.
My female therapist told me it's true. I just have to get over it because I have other value, and I can't get younger. At least I can have the skinny teen body rather than a college girl who let herself go.
But that's the thing. Men just start getting out of their babyface phase and begin achieving stuff at 25. That's when their manhood just starts to blossom.
But when I'm 25 in a few years I'm already an old hag compared to young girls. And a few years after that I'm too old to even reliably give birth.
I wish they created something that would end physical aging (I don't mean being immortal, just making our body stop aging). I hate the idea of being an old hag 'outclassed' by younger girls.
The real situation is that guys tend to avoid 18-21 year old girls because they are so emotionally immature that they are unbearable. Those girls may be used in the fashion context as an image of youth, but that's about it.
I have dated girls 10 years older than me. Conversely, I wouldn't date an 18 year old, period.
i think you're putting too much thought into gender roles/norms
we're all just people, find what you like and find someone who likes that too
Date 25 year old men now?
Honestly though, I don't know how common this is, but I'm a 19 year old who exclusively dates 25+ women. The insecurity about their age makes them so much hotter to me for some reason
Old women only drool over younger guys if they are tall and handsome. Even then, it baffles me why these guys would give the time of the day for dried up witches.
It unnecessarily boosts those womens self esteem, they should be feeling like crap for being like 40-50, then they suddenly get positive attention.
I don't know if its /fa/ enough. But she's 1,55mts (around 5' 2")
I hope. I want to date >>10909962 cause that girls is sooo hot. She's 16
The 15yr girl was an student from a school that i made a teacher practice. I have her on my facebook.
Congrats bro, have pics of her?
Agreed. I'm only 19 but tied down at the moment so we'll see.
And nice on the student although pretty sure you'd be in huge shit in most decent countries if you actually did anything.
I'm also 6' but about 80kg, or 176 in oldspeak. I've got a little more fat to shed and not quite as much muscle as I'd like, but I'd say this is ideal weight if you have reasonably low body fat %. Don't be one of those skinny fucks though bro.
Go here, calculate your TDEE:
Then subtract 500kcal per day for losing 1lb/week, subtract 1000kcal per day for losing 2lbs/week. And everything inbetween.
I'd say don't go over -1000kcal deficit.
Add me on snap
